2 YRS ago, a user came up with a brilliant idea of PH TIMES.A idea that many liked.
But came a time when pokeheroes was stale with content and so the previous crew of PH TIMES was separated. This crew gained a lot of attention from all kinds of people on pokeheroes. Even our own admin Riako appreciated one of the article written by pokemonblack.
But that’s in the past, this new year we decided to bring it back with a new crew. We promise to bring you the best news about the latest events, minor updates and other fun stuffs.

Q: What is your thought process for making a character in a roleplay?
A: My process starts with an idea. Mostly my ideas come from music, games I enjoy playing and talking to my friends. Once I have an idea it takes about a day (sometimes shorter) to finalize finer details (e.g. backstories, friends.. All kinds of stuff). Once that is done, I usually either draw them first, or hop right into a roleplay.
Q: Have you ever joined a roleplay that looking back at it was your favorite?
A: Currently my favourite is Tournament Invitation (created by A_BrokenAngel) but in the past... I would say my first successful rp (now inactive) called Galar Camp. A day after I posted the sign ups people started signing up!
Q: Has there been any roleplayer in particular who you have had a particularly great time roleplaying with?
A: The people I enjoy roleplaying with I refer to as “Roleplay friends”. Currently they're Amberstorm, AdminIsTheBestbois1 and CrystalTherainwing.
Q: If you had to pick a favorite character, who would it be (whether they are just one from a particular roleplay or if it's one character reused alot)?
A: A favourite character of mine would have to be Ambrosia, the character used in most Pokemon RPs I do. In other Roleplays I think the one I enjoyed roleplaying as was Stacy/Ragana in 'Mirror world' (I actually forgot the name of the rp..) Ambrosia has this calm ability I enjoy using to calm down Pokemon (in one rp, Arceus.) and Stacy has interesting magic
Q: If you had to describe why to roleplay to someone who doesn't roleplay, what would you say?
A: I know my irl friends don't. It is quite tricky since they sometimes take things literally (or sometimes I am roleplaying and someone comes in and breaks the 4th wall). But hey, that person will get it soon.
The year is 3010. Technology has evolved, humans and our society has evolved as well. During what they call the “Renovation Era”, the government and scientists are working together in a life-changing experiment. Out of the 8.4 Billion people on Earth, only 300 have been called to be a part of this experiment, one person from each country/state. You, of course, are one of them. This experiment let’s people interact in their own made-up world, like a more realistic Lucid Dream. The person has their own land in the made-up world, and it can be whatever they want. Heck, people can choose to have powers if the wish, or even shapeshift. You can also visit each other in this world. The rest is up to you.
This Roleplay is a “SEMI-LIT Roleplay, meaning that every post is in PARAGRAPHS. Yes, this means I will be rejecting some people’s forms as this Roleplay might get PG-13, or I know certain users will use one-liners or their posts usually don’t make sense, so please don't be disappointed if you don't get accepted,” according to Cosmixx. I don’t know about you, but I would love to be part of the action.

A: I play the Bug-Hatching Contest and the Pokémon Beauty Contest every month since it started. this is my first time getting in the top 3 I think, but I have been in the top 20 before.

Q: What goes into the characters you make? For example are they based off of anyone you know?
A: I wish I could say that there was some process but ideas usually just spring to me with ease.
That being said occasionally I will see a character or idea I like and then I think, "What if I put my spin to it?" or "Maybe I can do this better."
Q: Out of all of your characters past or present, who would your favorite be and what roleplay were they in?
A: My favorite character is probably Presto though that is mostly because I can put her into loads of different situations and have it feel natural. She has a fun backstory in my opinion as well. Plus I have loads of fun having an over the top performer with a bit of mystery.
I started using her in a discord server.
Q: Has there ever been a roleplayer you have enjoyed working with the most?
A: This may seem a bit biased (especially since I am now dating her) but probably Atavan. We started roleplaying together in late 2016 if I am not mistaken. We loved how our characters meshed and since then we started building our universe.
Nine times out of ten she is the first person to hear my ideas and might even have an idea or two to make them better.

A: There are so many I can't really pick a favorite. Although any with Uzumaki is usually fun and I like his creativity.

Q: What goes into the characters you make? For example are they based off of anyone you know?
A: I usually first find out if I want them to be a protagonist or an antagonist. After that, I put in moods and personalities accordingly. I very rarely base my characters off of people I know/movie characters, although my more "hero" characters are by far the easiest characters to create because I usually base them off of my own personality.
Q: Out of all of your characters past or present, who would your favorite be and what roleplay were they in?
A: I really like my character: Roxy from Elemental Wars. Even though she is the main villain, she is really fun to play as
Q: Has there ever been a roleplayer you have enjoyed working with the most?
A: Easily Cosmixx. She is a great roleplayer. Her writing style is amazing and she is great at avoiding one-liners. She also doesn't stray too off track in roleplays.
Q: What has your favorite roleplay on this site been so far?
A: Protect the Star. Uzumaki is a great writer with lots of great ideas. The whole storyline is really good. I like the concept of people having powers (which often shows in my own rps) so I am a bit biased. It's just simply a great story, you have to be there to enjoy it and all the roleplayers involved are really good at roleplaying and their characters are really fun.
Q: What has your favorite moment from roleplaying on Pokeheroes been?
A: I suppose it would've been during the beginning of: The Program. My evil character was confronting the group. I didn't expect the group to start making fun of my evil character. I thought that, that was pretty funny. I had to basically change my whole plans and try having my character dismiss everything they had said. It's always the unexpected moments that are the most fun
Q: If you had to tell someone why they should roleplay, what would u tell them?
A: It's a great distraction from life. Which is definitely needed in this current time. You can be somebody that you usually are not, and do things that are impossible. The world is your oyster (I believe that's the saying xD) in a roleplay. At the very least, it can perfect your writing skills, which is never a bad thing.
Now for this week, I decided that we weren’t gonna do a Trending Roleplays section because I needed to honor someone very near and dear to my heart. On April 20th, 2018, the Swedish DJ Tim Bergling (also known as Avicii) was found dead near Muscat, Oman. It was later revealed that he died of self-inflicted injuries. He is best known for his songs “Waiting for Love”, “Hey Brother”, “Levels”, and “Wake Me Up. He was one of my brothers favorite musicians and when he learned that Bergling had died, he was crushed. Now everyone, let us take a minute of silence remembering this talented artist

Q: What goes into the characters you make? For example are they based off of anyone you know?
A: Most of the time I affiliate my characters with figures of pop culture or certain emotions. For example my character Talla (who is my villain character) is based off of Heath Ledger’s Joker about… 85% of the time whereas the other 15% she is based off of Anton Chigurh (The main villain in both the book and Oscar winning film, No Country For Old Men).
Q: Out of all of your characters past or present, who would your favorite be and what roleplay were they in?
A: Talla has always been my favorite. She was the first character I created and I have really enjoyed using her when she is a villain, especially in Abnormal Apocolypse, Haven of Beasts and even in the short lived The Greatest Show
Q: Has there ever been a roleplayer you have enjoyed working with the most?
A: I have a very select group of roleplayers who I really enjoy roleplaying with including TGGAkane, Cosmixx, Hinata_, and more recently RaRaRasputin
Q: What has your favorite roleplay on this site been so far?
A: Wow, Lyra. I was just talking about not wanting to answer this question and then you ask me that. It’s really really hard to pick honestly but really any roleplay that I didn’t spend 5 seconds in or any roleplay that’s name wasn’t Mutants would have to be my favorite.
Q: What has your favorite moment from roleplaying on Pokeheroes been?
A: Oh [BEEP] me, why are all of these questions so hard for me? I mean, I made them and I’m struggling. So, I mainly have three that I foundly remember. One is actually a collection of them and that collection is all the times I have broken the 4th wall while roleplaying. My second one has to be the creation of the monster that is Talla and the reaction people had with her. I remember going back and forth on whether she was to be a villain or a hero and I am so happy she became a villain because everyone in the first roleplay she was in were so shocked by her. And my final one has to be the fact that I have met so many wonderful people by roleplaying. It is truely my pride and joy
Q: If you had to tell someone why they should roleplay, what would u tell them?
A: Roleplaying is an art. It is something that you need to experience to really enjoy. But in addition to this, you can meet two types of people. TOXIC people in all caps for a reason or some of the greatest people you’ve ever seen.

A: Each character usually has a part of me in it, then I base it off of what personality traits might fit, or base if off of people/ movie and/or book characters.
Q: Out of all of your characters past or present, who would your favorite be and what roleplay were they in?
A: My favorite? I have several, but i think my favorite hero/heroine oc is one I've revamped many times and used in several rps on DA is Eva. When I first made her she was a bit op and the colors clashed horribly, through different rps and many revamps she's become my favorite little cinnamon roll.
Q: Has there ever been a roleplayer you have enjoyed working with the most?
A: I don't really have a specific favorite person, but the first person i ever roleplayed with was an artist named ShinySmeargle, she introduced me to roleplaying.
Q: What has your favorite roleplay on this site been so far?
A: I think it was the APL (After Presentable Liberty) RP, it was the first time I got to expand on dynamics for characters.
Q: What has your favorite moment from roleplaying on Pokeheroes been?
A: Defenity with Maddy walking in on Faith and Salvadore in the middle of "doing the deed." (Hey guys, RoyalGecko here, for context of this basically my character Maddy got hella drunk and walked in on Kane’s two characters getting on Santa’s naughty list. This lead to one hilarious confrontation that I implore you to read.)
Q: If you had to tell someone why they should roleplay, what would u tell them?
A: It's a good way to help come up with stories, characters, plot twists, and it's also a good way to help distract you from other things. Like waiting for your switch to do a back up.

I often ask for interaction exchanges too which probably help him, but not as a means to boost scribbles, it is something I tend to do daily anyway ^^ So I guess he just sort of reached his current level from general activity (plus I'm pretty active and probably appear on the online click list a lot).
Q: Is there any advice you would like to give to people attempting to get high level Pokemon?
A: My main advice would be to use the Index Page, it has a great power! Not only does it get your Pokemon noticed and a berry fed to it but you do get extra experience whilst it is sat there!
I do also recommend some sort of interacting, you can do what I do and ask for interaction exchanges which with guarantee some clicks on your Pokemon or you can use the online or newest adoptions click lists! I know that not every one will return your interactions this way but you will get some and it's every little helps!
But my most important advice is: Don't give up. The rally is a contest and the competition can be fierce but you will get there! Even if you don't manage to win during one rally, there's always next time and I think it's important for users not to feel discouraged when going for a medal ^^

A: Well, I don't think I'd have gotten very far without the support of my wonderful friends, thank you every one for keeping me going! Of course I have to give thanks to the active community, who I am very grateful to for taking their time to feed Pokemon and click eggs and I don't just mean my eggs and Pokemon but all eggs and Pokemon on site - Thank you, you guys are amazing! uwu
Q: For my final question, is this your first time winning a medal? If not, how many have you won?
A: Nope, it'll be my 37th medal (which doesn't include any coin clip medals, I've never tried that)! I'm a frequent lab hunter and I'll often appear on the egg rally because of it. This current medal for Scribbles will be my 4th "Strongest" Pokemon medal since joining the site, one of my previous medals for strongest Pokemon was intentional, the rest were just sort of happened. My first strongest Pokemon was won with a Togekiss, which I still have, I unfortunately do not remember my other two. I only have two most berries fed medals, one of which I aimed for and the other I got during the first berry battle (I think) since I actively took part in that nwn/

On 27/May/20 at reset Riako published a new event Pokémon via the news. With the warning "These Pokémon like to play in the water where they create huge piles of foam. They leave trails of foam wherever they go - the mayor of our town has already issued a decree that these Pokémon should not be taken to the Emera beach. The consequences would be fatal!" and Pokédex entry "This Pokémon likes playing in the bathtub and singing in the shower." the new event Pokémon have been introduced.
Users have to gain activity points. For more info have look at this. And those 3 are the cute little Pokémon that you can get!

That's how I felt with all that money at once. I wanted to spend it
but I stopped myself because I love Impidimp so much""That
certainly sounds like an amazing feeling! But now under us two, how
much money have you really shoved it down the admin throat? Was it
really on point or a little bit more or less?""It had to be
21M because of the Tax Levy but since I kept saying 20M to get it,
people might have been shut "We about to get Impidimp" from the
rooftops. But what I did behind the scenes was set up 1M PD I
already had up into a gift to myself so I had the extra 1M I needed

Grimmsnarl is my favorite pokemon of all time and up until about 10

then he added the Hateeren line (the Impidimp lines counterparts
might I add) without Grimmsnarl and then I just "called him

necessarily. Me being furious was how I reacted to Rat_Overlord's
accusations of my scamming people when I had proof. It was more of

a good night/day!""Np"~~~~~~As the distant sounds of battle were heard, the elder of celestial town noticed a sudden change in the stars which beautifully lined the night sky. It seemed as though they were giving way to something. "Arceus", Said the elder, a vague, terrified look coming into her face. She said, "It couldn't be, he couldn't have come all the way here for," her hardly audible voice trembling, "judgment."
She continued to glance at the sky when suddenly, a blinding light filled the entire planet, and from the sky, with a face as bright as the sun, descended Arceus. They did not look very happy. In their thundering voice which shook entire mountains, they spoke, "The creatures in this world which I have created were not for dogfights. Now it is high time I put an end to this madness! From now on, the creatures you call pokemon, the ones created to be your equals, will have merged with you. You all shall be partially pokemon. May your affection towards them rank your strength. You shall not have 'Pokemon', but be, 'Pokemon'. Learn, trainers, their hardships. Fare thee well!" Arceus went back into the heavens.
As the light faded away, another flash of light hit the Earth. All of the trainers fell down, unconscious. When they came to, they saw themselves turned half-pokemon. The elder told Cynthia, who had turned into a Gible, "This is serious, dear. Call all the trainers. Tell every champion. Ask them, to start the search. In order to cure us all, 'Total Recover' must be used." Cynthia asked, doubtfully, "Total Recover?". The elder replied, " Legends have it that there once was a Z Crystal, so powerful, that it may only be used by a gigantamax. When used, it can heal every curse. Arceus broke it into eight pieces and spread it across all the regions, as well as one shard in the distortion world. It is said that 8 heroes will rise from these regions and collect these shards to form the crystal. If we use ‘total recover’, then everything should be back to normal. Now, go. Ask the champions to announce the reason for all this. Tell them, To start the search."

A new mega evolution has been discovered by the most experienced breeders of Emera Town: With the use of a Mega Stone, some very strong Electivire are apparently able to perform a mega evolution.
The breeders were able to breed a bunch of mega-able Elekid lately and are now giving them away in an Event Distribution. So what are you waiting for? Make sure to be the first trainer own a mega version of it!
Every egg that you receive from this event also includes a free Mega Stone attached to it!
This Event Distribution ends on June 28th. This doesn’T break your chain.

Region and Gem Collector Quest Event by Hipsterpotamus
Good news avid pokemon hunters! The galar region is now accessible by rumbling. To unlock the map to this holy land, you must spend a high amount of gems at the Gem Collector by exchanging gems for pokemon eggs.
You can find all kinds of gems in the galar area and are now able to recruit galarian pokemon while rumbling. What are you waiting for, good hunt!

These past few days have been some of the few good days of updates on pokeheroes in a hot minute. Considering that we have an anniversary approaching,we got quite a few *MINOR* updates for the site that i am sure everyone will love.

As of 09/06/2020,we can use all the emojis that we know and 💖.They can be used in pretty much all important places like forums, feeds, PMs, Palpad, profile, etc.
BUT if u think that "its just for mobile cause pc doesn't have a emoji bar...so we stuck with these:-( ",fear not my friends cause pc too can have the power to use emojis.
Below are the ways to use emojis on pc (mac and windows):
1)Right click on the taskbar and click show touch keyboard button for it to show on your taskbar.
there u can use the emojis.
2)U can press windows + period(also called dot) and a window will open with emojis in it.
3)Most simple way to access it is by right clicking where u want to put the emoji,the first option will say emoji (found and suggested by me to riako).although i talked to some people saying that this does not work,it works for lot of users, so if it works for you then awesome.(should work for both mac and pc)

First update of the week; The Gem Collector
received an update on the 07/06/2020. At the bottom of the page, it now tells you the total amount of gems that you've already spent on gem trades with the gem collector himself.
Second update of the week; The Rumble
Update received an update on the 08/06/2020.Every rumble area now has an "Exploration Level" which slightly increases with every mission that you finish. Before this update, only the six default areas had this level.
A high exploration level yields more PokéDollars per mission and also increases the maximum amount of items that you can find.
Third update of the week; The Item Market
received an update on the 09/06/2020.A new feature has been added to the Global Trade Station: The Item Market! You can now very easily sell your items to other players for PokéDollar - or browse for items that you currently need and want to buy. The system is very easy to use and extremely useful for simple & quick deals.
You also have the possibility to set up advanced search filters for your frequently requested items. There you even have the possibility to be notified whenever a trade is posted that matches your selected criteria!
Fourth update of the week; The Daycare
received an update on the 11/06/2020.At the daycare, the "Releasing in..." countdown has been replaced by an icon symbolizing the Tall Grass
(to which the eggs are sent once the
24h-countdown hits zero). Additionally, the amount of minutes
remaining until a Wide Lens scanning process is completed is now
also displayed directly next to the lens.
Fifth update of the week; The Royal Tunnel
received an update on the 11/06/2020.The gem distribution at the Royal Tunnel has been rebalanced. We implemented a limit of 100 gems that you can find per day. The reason for this is (sadly) the increasing amount of cheating that happened at this feature recently.
Sixth update of the week; The Daycare
received another update on the 11/06/2020.The Daycare breeding chances for Dex legendaries have been increased significantly. Prior to this update, hunting - for example - all forms of Arceus' (with premium & flute) would've (statistically speaking) taken almost 2 years. This is unreasonably long and it was therefore decided to make this feature easier.
Seventh update of the week; The Auction
House received an update on the 13/06/2020.Your bid is now automatically refunded once you are outbid - you no longer have to wait until the auction has ended. (If you placed a bid before this update then you might still need to wait until the auction ends)
Eighth update of the week; The Gem Cauldron
received an update on the 13/06/2020.➡ You no longer lose your gems when the boiling fails. The gems are only removed from your bag when the boiling is actually going to produce an item. Instead, you now have a "10 minute cool down phase" when you fail to put in all gems in time.
➡ The use of the "Odd Incense" has been changed: Instead of giving you more time for the mini game, it now cuts the time which the cauldron needs in order to boil an item in half. This means that you can boil, for example, a Mega Stone within 24 instead of 48 hours. Odd Incenses are automatically used when you have one in your bag & start a successful boiling process.
➡ The mini game has been made a little easier. You are granted a little more time per gems now.
Ninth update of the week; The Tall Grass
received an update on the 13/06/2020.➡ The Item "Egg Radar Chip (Galarian)" is now available at the Item Shop. It is unlocked once you have access to the Galar region. It allows you to search for Galarian eggs in the Tall Grass. It costs 25,000 PokéDollar.
➡ The Item "Egg Radar+" is now available at the Item Shop. Buying this update permanently upgrades your Egg Radar to find potential hiding spots twice as fast (basically it cuts the waiting time in half). This item can be bought in the "Special"-section for 200 Nuggets and for premium account users for 180 Nuggets.
Tenth update of the week; The Suggestions
forum: received an update on the 13/06/2020.The overcomplicated system of classifying suggestions as "Emera Town", "Trading", "Battling" etc. has now been removed. Instead, all suggestions must simply be put in the main "Suggestions"-forum.
There is, however, a new subforum called "Most Popular". This subforum lists the most popular suggestions (based on the community's rating; with at least 40 votes). Threads there are only links, they aren't actually moved in there.
Eleventh update of the week; The Mod-approval:
received an update on the 13/06/2020.New threads in the "Suggestions" and in the "User-made contests" now require approval by a moderator. When posting a new thread there, it will first be invisible to the public until a moderator approves it (the creator of the thread will be able to see it, though, and also make edits while it's still pending approval).
The forum & the "Edit signature" setting have been update with a live preview of your post! You can now directly see how your post is going to look like while typing. The BB-Codes are automatically translated on the go. Try it out!
Twelveth update of the week; Profile
layout: received an update on the 14/06/2020.➡ You can now see a preview of your Custom panels in the "Profile layout" setting. You can even switch between a Mobile & a Desktop preview to see how it looks on different screen sizes. This feature also utilizes the new "live preview".
➡ You can now see directly in the notification popup whether your hatched Pokémon is shiny and/or mega-able.
Thirteenth update of the week; Emera Beach:
received an update on the 14/06/2020.you now receive Activity Points (for Event Distributions) from Fishing at the beach. 1% of energy spent equals 1 AP. These APs count towards the "Other" category.
