In what was once North America, the Capitol of Panem maintains its hold on its 13 districts by forcing them each to select a boy and a girl, called Tributes, to compete in a nationally televised event called the Hunger Games. Every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until only one remains.
It is now year 30XX. Another war is unfolding with Nova as its Mockingjay, it seems that everyone in District 13 has had a carefully laid hand in the war. Or at least almost everyone.

There was a thud and an ungodly screech as Adelaide's next swing with the scythe took off the head of another mutt. Not even bothering to acknowledge that she was stepping in the blood itself, Adelaide brought her death-blade down mercilessly on another. The mutts could only continue their attempts to kill what they perceived as a harbinger of death. Adelaide didn’t bother to acknowledge Kardia as the world faded into a blurry mess of nothing. Just her and the mutts; driven forward in a mad lust for blood and death.
