Decreasing Sweet output
Forum-Index → Bug Reports → Resolved → Decreasing Sweet outputI agree with the point is that the DP value (or nugget value) is quite reasonable, but for those who have no choice but grind for the SM, the lower sweet yield is quite demotivating - it just seems annoying to put in more effort and get less out of it.
Edit: my level is also 4.
People shouldn't be clicking too much each day, kids have school and adults have work :P
But I feel like the event should be longer...
And we should be able to claim more than 1 egg on the last day :3

To get myself some stuffs but mostly to pleasure my friends with freebies cause it’s the only time of the year am very click active on clicking.
First of all this is very unfair because I try t make time for this event. If some peeps don’t want to make time or cant make time crudely said that is not my problem and I shouldn’t be punished by it.
There are years I cant make time because of XYZ reasons but that doesn’t mean other peeps have to be punished by my absence.
If you wanted it to make so called fair then set a doable target or take the candy decrease thingy away.
By your default logic I suppose moving the advent event to January should be no problem for you? I mean I wont have internet for 2/3 weeks due to renovations at my place, its only ‘fair’ that this moved due to my absence right, in order for me to have a fair chance at completing it?
Oh really?! Don’t make me laugh ¾ are getting there credits cards up in order to get the event trough dp that they obtain with nuggets, because you placed such a heavy stress on the event.
Its call hard work in the first place and plain logic you need to build your gear up. I personally grinded years to get my dexes complete, and not just the dex logo but to own the actual pokemons in em (or almost). By your default if I register to a new game I need to get legendary status on everything and maxed out.
So if my sis makes an account when she is old enough are you going to give her all the legendaries shiny, cause idk she is new and she wants everything like the big players, what kind of a logic is that even?
FYI: she loves shiny shaymin, can we agree on that one for starters?
And what do we need for this? Exactly nuggets and a mega cuff for it to get more chance, so we promote money for it again…
What should have been a very fun event cause it’s my absolute favourite on this site been ruined by utter greed in my eyes.
You want peeps to click balanced but the candy drops are decreased, so hard work becomes punished in the end. In order to get more trick meter you need to get candies but again they start decreasing after a certain amount. So what do peeps do they click even more to desperately increase the trick meter.
So for the balanced lets do a 10/50k ish a day it’s a bust already, a very vicious circle has been created.
You claim you want to be fair for all but all what you did with this event is the opposite of it in my eyes.
So thank you for ruining Halloween and maybe future Halloween events as well, idk its to soon to judge about those.
And FYI to all the ones that don’t agree with my post: idc about the SM I don’t really like it so couldn’t care less about it, what I do care is this pay 2 win event being promoted.
I strongly think it should be extended, most users don't interact 50k each day :/

But what I don't like about the event is it feels like progress feels slow and impossible.
Here's some bad, quick, inaccurate math:
So based on my interaction speed on a mobile device, it is about 100 clicks per minute.
So if I were to divide the 50,000 daily click average suggested to possibly obtain the SM it would be: 500 minutes, that being 8 hours 20 minutes.
8 hours and 20 minutes straight of clicking a day for 11 days straight is crazy....
I understand getting SMs are hard and getting a chance to get one is already pretty nice.
And I also know users won't be spending 8 hours straight playing. Rather they will be splitting up their interactions throughout the day. But still 8 hours is too much time for people to spend on just interacting.
Let me go off topic kinda:
So I've played all sorts of mobile games where I've grinded for games willingly to get event items. But it didn't require me to spend 8 hours everyday to obtain the item. It would only take me 2 hours a day for the event. But I'm the procrastinating type so I push all those 2 hours to the last 2 days and I still manage to get the event items.
This current event doesn't allow players enough flexibility to obtain all the rewards. So players have to choose between SM or everything else. Players should be allowed to play anytime during the event and still manage to have a chance to obtain the SM and other rewards.
I recommend knocking it down to half the daily interactions currently suggested to get the SM at the very least. Or extending the event duration so players don't feel demotivated.
Personally I feel this type of event style is great because of the various rewards, but maybe implementing an Event SM right off the bat without users being familiar with this event style was not the best move.
Also I would like to mention that clicking is boring. 8 hours a day of it is extra boring.
The reason I procrastinate for my other games despite only needing to play 2 hours a day is because the gameplay is also kinda repetitive and boring. So clicking for 8 hours for this event sound unfun, unmotivating, and unfriendly.
In addition to 8 hours a day of clicking, the clicklists have been acting up, the game constantly asks if I'm human, and my finger will miss the egg/pokemon when I'm distracted (because I'm bored so I'm multi-tasking), and sometimes the egg/pokemon aren't all aligned in the same spot despite my finger being in the right spot. All these little factors really deter players to aim for the SM despite it not being impossible to get.
So although interaction rates may have gone up for this event, it will immediately drop back down. I think to get more and more players to stay engaged, the events should have the right balance.
Also I agree with expanding the halloween event's timespan, not to cover more of november, but to cover more of october

EDIT: I doubt Riako will bother looking at it but at least it should be clear the community wants, the extension of the event or getting rid of the "decreasing sweets" thing. I know all of you responding to this will say the decreasing sweets output isn't fair and it's obvious what people want to vote for, but Riako has his reasons for doing this :/
