Grey's mood turned sour, though he was used o being angry. It seemed like he always was. "Shut your mouth, Andrea," he snapped. "We all know what our situation is. But we're not even out of wherever this is, so you might as well focus on one thing at a time, okay?" He sighed, shoulders slumping as his fingers worked at the knots. He had gotten one undone, but his fingertips were becoming red and steaming from the mesh in the ropes, but he ignored it. He wrapped what parts of his hand he had managed to get undone around the rope to keep him steady, hissing slightly at the pain. He managed to get his bonds undone, but when the ropes fell to the ground, he flexed his fingers. The parts of his hand that touched the rope were an ugly, ugly red.

Compared to the others, Erin's waking was rather phlegmatic, but it was also slower. Her limbs surprisingly heavy, and her eyes weighed down, she spent her first few seconds in a static darkness. Dull brown eyes blinked once, twice, taking in her surrounding. After taking a moment to regain her bearings, the android realized that she didn't quite know where she was. It was very cold underneath her palms, which made her think of metal. She scratched the surface underneath her palm, and nodded when her fingernails all but glanced off the surface. Metal. That narrowed it down to two options. After a few seconds, she began to pick up on a faint vibration underneath her palms, like the metal underneath her hand was shifting. This made her frown, and attempt to sit up properly on her hands. Memories began to trickle into her mind again, bits and pieces that her system was able to retrieve in the meantime during her reboot process.

Now in the same cell as the others, the scientist guy having recovered from the shock that Rey was not actually dead, he was listening in on the others. He wasn't handcuffed, which wouldn't have been extremely effective, given his lack of 1 arm. His legs were bound, but it wasn't as if he would be going anywhere either way. Upon receiving the chalkboard, He wrote his name "Rey". Did he have a surname? He wasn't quite sure, since no one really told him. Under his name, he wrote "Random". Not exactly a power, but it was easier than listing all the possible powers he could obtain without the ability to choose from, and he passed the chalkboard along. He also noticed the some of the others feeling quite weak, possibly having been drugged. But Rey felt fine, and could probably activate his power if he wanted to. But given the unpredictability of his ability, it was much better not to.

Chip received the chalkboard and hesitated. After a little bit, he messily scribbled "Chip" and under that "Speed." And passed it on to the next person. He didn't know why he hesitated. Maybe he was questioning his existence. He slowly snapped out of it and analyzed the room once more. He wasn't good with spotting details that would make a person stand out, instead, he would just see the basic things of somebody. Hair color, clothing type, etc.

He heard his name. Alongside the mysterious Elana's name, his name sounded foreign. He hadn't really known his culture. But his name shook him. Then the one word, the one word everyone here has probably been called. 'Freak.' and laughter of a child.

Dantier opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a pounding on the door to his left. "We'll be landing soon, get ready." The voice seemed dull and empty, it wasn't exactly a yell but more of a loud statement. Why didn't he sound... well, human? It was just a plain voice that sounded like it never held joy, or any emotion at all really. He would almost think it was a robot if the voice just didn't seem to fit a robot, as in an android wouldn't be capable of having that tone. Then again, Erin was a thing and she was sitting in this room with them. He let out a sigh as he looked over at San, a dry smile appearing on his face. "How exciting..."

Slowly but surely, those inside of the helicopter could hear themselves decending somewhere enclosed, like a large building or something similar. A few seconds passed, even minutes, until the motors finally cut off and light poured into the room they were kept in. Dantier had his head against the wall with his eyes closed only seconds before, but made the mistake of opening them to the sound of a door opening. His eyes burned from the light and it seemed like even shutting them didn't help. "Come on, follow us." There was that voice again, the same empty one they had heard minutes before. Dantier was the first to get up and obey their orders, only to be met with guns being pointed at him on both sides of the door he exited. He stopped and raised an eyebrow, then let out a small chuckle before saying something quite stupid. "Oh hey, nice to see a friend of mine, that lovely firearm." He grinned and gave a shrug, not really able to do anything with his hands behind his back. "Go ahead, shoot! Wouldn't help me in the sightest, not at all!" He joked before sighing and continuing onward slowly.

“Mind you don’t kill me just yet. It makes me release all chaos magic within me as it will no longer have a host. I don’t want to see your flesh peeling off.” Her hands “tied” by metal chains, she follows Dantier, tossing her hair back. She takes one look at their weapons and scoffed. She blinks several times, getting used to the light. One of them digs the gun into her flesh, creating a red patch. She stares at the guy, replying blankly. “Ouch. That’s painful” She lies, smoothly.

TW: Body Horror :)

Blinking mulishly up at Dantier, San opened his mouth and presumably would have meowed if he had the vocal chords for it. Hauling himself to his feet, he dragged himself over to the messy pile of clothes and bindings and wriggled under the mess of fabric. It was always best to transform within the clothes had left behind, having some control over how his limbs reformed so he could still haphazardly stick himself into clothes. Once snugly situated, San sunk his claws into the rough material, squeezed his eyes shut, and waited

He didn't have to wait long as the telltale itch under his paws heralded the beginning. He didn't really know why it always started with his hands, perhaps it was to get himself out of danger and quickly as possible. Slender fingers grew along with the bone, joints popping as digitigrade limbs made way for flexible wrists and opposable thumbs. Even his feet weren't spared, bones growing rapidly to give him almost human like proportions. He was lucky that he was shorter than most people his age, saving him a lot of pain from the rapidly growing limbs. An awful crack rang out, muted by the clothes as San's jaw slammed against the ground, face twisting as the bones shifted around to smooth out his features. His abdomen churned as muscles and organs fought for a space within the rapidly growing cavity, his body arching violently as his spine broke and grew to give more room for the grotesque growth. By the time the plane was beginning to descend, there was a mostly human San sprawled out on the floor, breathing heavily as he pulled himself towards a darker corner, the one place where an absence of a scent drew him towards an android

He didn't make it far before his head jerked to the side, neck snapping with a sickening whimper

Lifeless red eyes stared uncomprehendingly at the darkness, meeting a few stunned faces before his limbs twitched again as empty eyes rolled behind his head. One arm contorted in unnatural angles, bones snapping and breaking under the pressure as San's whole body seemed to curl up on itself in a mess of jutting limbs and silent screams. Transformations were always exhausting as it took up too much calories and resources to break enough bones and reposition muscles, leaving the subject exhausted after one use, nearly killing them after two. The muffled squelch of contracted muscles and tangled up blood vessels was enough for others to understand that fact. It sounded as if everything was breaking too fast and too hard, San's body struggling to retain its form as the inhuman mass writhed over the metal floors. The faint scent of iron wafted up once the aircraft rolled to a stop and under the mess of clothing nothing moved. In the space between stifling silence and bright blinding lights, there was an almost tense silence before the flood of white broke it, obscuring the dart of black fur that shot out from the pile of clothes to collapse in the lap of a still re-booting system

The sounds of bones breaking and joints popping into place makes Bree visibly cringe. She glances towards San, ready to offer her assistance despite her minimal access to her power when she realizes that there didn't seem to be any red within his aura. It was a curious sight and Bree caught herself staring at him for a few moments longer than necessary. She glances away and stares into space until the sound of a door opening caught her attention. "Come on, follow us" a voice demands. Not really having much of a choice, Bree obeys the command. She winces when she stands up, her ribs were still sore from whatever happened earlier. It would take awhile for the pain to go away and she didn't want to waste the last bit of her strength on something like this.

She sticks close to Andrea, trying to use her aura as a guide. "Mind you don’t kill me just yet. It makes me release all chaos magic within me as it will no longer have a host. I don’t want to see your flesh peeling off." Bree chuckles at the boldness within Andrea's words and continues to follow her. Her eyes narrow when she sees a very faint red spot appear in Andrea's aura. "Ouch. That's painful" Andrea lies. Bree continues to stay silent, not wanting to aggravate her kidnappers. Andrea may be able to take a hit from them, but Bree wasn't confident that she could do the same.

The sound of San's..transformation made Grey's stomach lurch, but not horribly, as if he'd heard it before. That just increased the annoying amount of questions that were running through his head. Where had he heard it? Why was he feeling this connection to the people around him? Grey clenched his jaw, digging back into his memory. Maybe if he could just-There was a peircing pain at the base of his neck, and Grey doubled over, trying not to cry out. When the men came in, he tried to move to his feet, but they noticed he'd untied himself and grabbed him by the arm, retying the knots. "Heyy, ouch," he snarked, "Got sensitive skin, y'know." One started guiding him, and muttered, "Try anything and I'll put a bullet through your brain." "Sorry, they put me through that hulabaloo and found out that bullets and I have a preety toxic relationship. They give evreything, but I just don't take it." "Then I'll shoot one of the others, see how you like that." Grey stiffened, then fell silent. He didn't think he knew these people, but something in him stopped him, saying that he wouldn't want any of them getting hurt whatsoever.

Chips stomach twisted. He was clearly disgusted but tried not to show it. He moved along behind everyone and going out of the helicopter. The blinding light only blinded him for a few seconds, him putting his hands up to his eyes suddenly. One of the guards out a gun up to his head, Chip suddenly growing aware of all the guards nearby. "God, out that down." He muttered under his breath. Great, no sudden movements. He didn't really want to die today just for something as stupid as a movement. Because that would be a stupid way to go down. But the concept brought back a wave of Deja Vu for no reason he could remember.

The door flew open, and her senses were promptly bathed in light. Her pupils, still dilated from the darkness of the helicopter, didn't narrow fast enough, and the android found herself temporarily blinded. A wave of fastidious irritation rose up in her gut at the sudden intrusion, but the sensation was still new to her, so she squashed it down til it was a mere ember. I don't have time for that nonsense. The shadows of guns flashed in the gloom, and her scowl deepened. Voices beckoned her from the outside. Follow us. Oh brilliant. So her theory was indeed correct about where they were. Another laboratory, more explanation into scientific discovery. Distaste rose in her stomach, and this time Erin made no move to ignore it. Humans could be so arrogant at times, yet she supposed she could not begrudge them their knowledge. After all, if science did not exist, then neither would she. The android only rose up at the last minute, cradling the black kitten form of San to avoid dropping him. She was sure that he would land on his feet, but now wasn't the time to test her theory.

A beam of light flashed in her eyes as she exited the helicopter, and she hissed, nearly dropping San as she raised a hand to shield her eyes. "Watch it! Point that thing somewhere else." She snapped sharply, just barely stifling the urge to kick a soldier in the shins as he pushed her along. Energy crackled in her face as the android nearly stumbled headlong into another taser shock. Growling, she was half-shoved half 'escorted' to the very front of the group, where she unintentionally bumped elbows with another soldier. Red allegiance, wary, annoyed, 15% of attention directed towards you. Irritated, she shoved the screen aside, and muttered for him to be careful. Honestly, however, if her theory proved to be correct, what could happen to either of them wouldn't be pleasant. Erin didn't care. He would have to take care of himself if he wanted her sympathy.

Grey was more focused on the gun that was being pointed at his head than anything else, so maybe he had a bit of an excuse for bumping into the android. When she did bump into him, it jolted him from his train of thought. Almost on reflex, he was abut to say something snarky, but then stopped. The brush with the unknown android caused a memory to flash through his brain. It was over in an instant, but his eyes were wide. "Erin?" he whispered, then blinked, "How...how do I know that name?"

He could feel himself being carried, each movement jostling his sore body. He's held close to a body, cold and uncomfortable but its a body nonetheless and he leans into the small comfort it provides as he struggles to open his eyes against the glaring lights. He's tired though, so exhausted that he doubted that he could even move a paw, let along walk. Its a good thing that he's being carried then as he gives his saviour a small nuzzle in an effort to convey his gratefulness.

When he was nearly thrown out of the android's arms though, he sure didn't feel very thankful, claws digging into false skin and a yowl of indignation bubbling in his chest. At least the impact had his eyes flying open as he took in the scenery. Which.... wasn't all that interesting actually. Just a lot of hostility and guns. He had to resist pouting at that. He was hoping for a change of pace but it really wasn't anything different from his daily routine. Glancing up, he watched the rounded harshness that defined Erin's synthetic appearance and settled into her arms again. Some part of him warned that she was dangerous, that her embrace was cold and phantom pains of old spars was all the proof that he needed. But he was simply too tired to move, curling up into a shapeless black lump with no discernible head or tail.

One eye cracked open at the breathy call of a familiar name. Grey. That was Grey and there was a painful twist in his chest at that. Why would Grey remember someone like Erin and not him? Was he really that forgettable or was his feeble promise to a long gone ghost not enough to keep anyone tethered to him? Pressing his ears against his head, he buried his face into Erin's arms and squeezed his eyes shut, intent on keeping the pain at bay.

Lediana didn't get it. One moment she was running, free, getting away from the crazy government. The next moment the government had found her, caught her, and she was a prisoner. She had been sedated, put in a helicopter, supposedly with lots of other people, and now she was stuck in a strange cell, and she couldn't use her water tricks to break free. There was a strange heat in the room, everytime she tried to create a wave or even a small trickle, a strange heat would beat back her water. The heat was uncomfortable too. She was used to the coolness of water, not the searing burn of fire. Of course, the heat couldn't cook her, but she really needed to cool down. She felt like all the water in her body was being dried. She was too tired to try a giant wave, water was energy to her, now she had none. The government had really outdone themselves on craziness. She had nothing else to do but stare at the ceiling and wait for whatever was in store for her.

Time seemed to slow down as they walked through the massive underground facility, the feeling of an unreasonable amount of guns staring at them like a bunch of knives digging into their skin was overwhelming. Each one of the men lined on both sides of the group had their finger on he trigger, ready to fire at the slightest wrong movement. Dantier looked around, peering into each of the doors on either side of him as he walked by. Some doors led itno hallways with even more doors, and some led to rooms that looked like either depressing and ominous offices, or rooms that had were split in the middle, one side looking like a prison cell and the other looking like an observation area. It was terrifying and creepy to see a sight like that, especially when it confirmed his suspicions about what was going to happen. All of this weighed down on him so much to the point his hands were shaking ever so slightly. He had never felt fear this intense before, but the feeling of walking down this lane like this could only be described in one way. He was an outcast, an outcast that had been sentenced to death by hanging. He was a victim of the noose, walking through a crowd to stare death in the face, and meeting his end. Only this time, though, he would have a far worse fate than death. That's what he felt, and that's what this was. A lamb going to the slaughter.

With Grey in front of the herd of lab rats, they continued on until they reached the end of the seemingly endless room, where 2 thick iron doors greeted them. The man who was guiding them there stopped and turned around, waiting until everyone else had stopped too. "You will enter these doors and sit in the seats provided, no violence or aggression will be tolerated." He then opened the doors and let them in, and Dantier could practically feel the snarl on the mans face, even if he couldn't see it. All of the people here hated them, and they were holding back the urge to shoot them on the spot. Oh god... Dantier couldn't imagine how much hatred was in the man who ran the place... Slowly but surely, everyone came into the room and began to sit down, and Dantier was surprised to see others already in some of the chairs. They all looked terrified or void of emotion and hope. "Ah! There they are, our new and infamous test subjects!" The feminine voice boomed through the room, and it's source was the front of te room, where all the chairs were facing. She didn't have a mask on at all, but she was covered in a long black robe and had chin-length blood red hair and red eyes. He could feel the anger and resentment, even from as far away as he was. "Oh how fun it will be to get to thoroughly know you all!" The smile on her face struck immense fear into Dantier as soon as he laid eyes on it. It was a sickly, inhuman grin that screamed insane. He quickly hurried over to a seat in the back, as far away fom her as he could.

Andrea looks around at all the gun. Such immense security…such a waste. If I die, I will bring you all down with me, in ways painfully unimaginable. Oh whatever you plan to do to me, I’ll return it a hundredfold stronger. But on the other hand…this bunker was pretty impressive. It would be a shame to see such pretty, expensive, probably high tech machinery go to waste. Pity. Then again, they were most likely afraid of them. They were nothing but pathetic humans, whereas they were powerful, with abilities that could probably destroy cities. “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything. I’ll be as good as gold, you have my word. After all, this is our purpose in the world, isn’t it? To serve higher ups like yourself” Her tone was smooth and flattering, and almost unbothered by the fact that she was to be used as an experiment. Her smile was sweet, warm, inviting, her face bearing a look of innocence. She takes a seat right beside that red headed girl, before staring directly at Erin, patting the seat next to her. “Come on, sit down.” She chirrups, tossing her hair back, before daintily rearranging her sitting position.

This enviorment.

This hatred.

It felt too familiar to go unnoticed.

Grey had always known what it was like to be despised, to be surrounded by hostility. Came with the powers. But this felt like a deep-rooted hatred, something far greater then he had ever experienced. But at the same time, Grey knew he'd felt it before. He knew that somewhere, somehow he had been in a situation dauntingly simalar situation. Tested on, experimented, poked and prodded. But why couldn't he remember? Why couldn't he think back any farther than the few months of memories that he had? All that Grey could remember was that time with Red, but..there was a horrible blank that caused pain to shoot through him whenever he tried to push his memory back that far. The most frusturating part was that he had this strange deja vu, something that pulled him to the people around him.

He, like Dantier, could feel the insanity pratically radiating from this woman. He didn't want to be anywhere near her. So, he picked a seat as far as he could get. He wasn't going to struggle. Somehow he knew it wouldn't be worth the fight. He ended up sitting next to the android from before. Erin, was that her name? Grey knew her, but how he hadn't figured out yet. That was another thing bothering him. Like the cat that she had been holding, and its reaction to him. Something was obviously going on that he hadn't figured out about.

The room. The smell. The cold. All this felt so familiar to Rey, but he's never been here, has he? It was so different compared to the lab he first awoke in. Locked in the cell, random images flooded his mind once again, just like in the battlefield, but now quicker than ever, making the images seem almost like a stop motion video. It felt like a memory, not his memory, someone else's. It showed the room, from what seemed to be from a first person perspective. Chains enwrapped the person's arms, chaining the memory holder onto the wall. Tubes went from one giant machine in front of him/her, attached onto various limbs, seemingly slowly draining blood into the machine. The vision was getting more blurry, until there was nothing left. Rey's lurched, not just from the horrid smell of the room, but from the sense of uneasiness, sadness, or was it fear? The memories seemed so familiar, but it wasn't his, was it? "I..." At the back of Rey's mind, Reyna spoke. She sounded confused, but then she said no more.

Over the previous days, he underwent many experiments, mostly those attempting to figure out just how many powers he had. Eventually, he was classified "too dangerous" after those experiments resulted in various explosions and injuries. Whilst the captors had every intent of making his life miserable, the amount of experiments had seemingly decreased, captors perhaps unwilling to risk another explosion.

But nothing probed that memory. Who's memory was that?

Chip moved towards the room, anticipating what would happen next. Are we donna do what all humans are born to do? Fight, then die? He wondered as the time ticked on. Slowly. He felt like it was forever until he reached the room, with him being in the back of the pack. He didn't bother checking in the passing rooms even if he wanted to. He didn't know what he would find. "Oh how fun will it be to get to thoroughly get to know you all!" He heard a faint female voice, the source up ahead in the room growing near. He silently took a seat, trying not to call attention to himself. Don't fidget with your fingers. Don't tap your toes. Don't bounce your leg up and down. His brain reminded him of all the things he was told not to do over the years. It's a sign of weakness. A mental illness is a weakness. You. Are. Weak. He remembered a strong female voice telling this, but whom? It was all a mystery. Maybe the voice was conjured up in Chip's head from his hard training. Yet he still found himself wanting to fidget with something. Anything.

Everything was too normal. The walls were familiar and the cells even more so. He was glad that there was no move made to remove him from the comfortable weight of arms circling his battered body, wanting nothing more than to sink into blissful unconsciousness. His bones still itched and he could feel pressure in the places where blood vessels had been misplaced and tangled throughout the messy transformation. He couldn't wrap his head around why he couldn't return to a more human form and the brief idea that perhaps it was because he was no longer human had him shivering and leaping out of Erin's arms. Very delicately, he leapt over to Grey's shoulder to gently nose at his neck and under his jaw. Even if the other didn't remember exactly who he was, who was he anyways but another number, he would continue to do as he had previously, giving out what small comforts he could. Winding his lithe body around Grey's neck like a comically fluffy scarf, soft purrs traveling down to tensed up muscles. It was a phantasmal comfort, simply another weight on shoulders that shouldn't be carrying any weight whatsoever, but San hoped that the familiar action from days long gone would at lest calm some subconscious part of Grey even if he couldn't quite remember

A part of him missed being able to talk, missed the ability to heckle and pull scientists away from others and instead focus on him alone. Missed the soft noises he would make that brought comfort to his children in times where such luxuries were to be treasured and held close, the one memory never to be given up. The velvet meows his collar helped produce were mechanical and stilted in comparison to the litany of voices that he had once made. But even that had been taken from him along with his pockets of weaponry and medication. San loathed to think what would happen if he was taken away from his pills as his arteries held more drugs than blood at this point. He wasn't ready to pass on just yet
