omg back to back posts?? but anyway, rant time <3

so a little bit of background, I’ve always loved volunteering, so when this overseas opportunity popped up, my friends and I who regularly volunteer together, were naturally quite excited. Turns out it’s only for those with leadership position in extracurriculars/clubs. Anyway, none of us are leaders so we can’t go, and we were already upset about that.

But then, now, a week or so after the trip, I hear this group of popular girls who went for the trip complaining about how filthy and disgusting the school they went to was?? I went to whine to my teacher about it, and I found out that when they were there, they grumbled and refused to eat the provided food, didn’t help out unless needed, and were constantly giggling and taking pictures. that isn’t your responsibility….? You’re supposed to be teaching kids and interacting with them??

I’m genuinely so confused why they would waste such an amazing opportunity and act like brats

it baffles me how someone can speak so lowly of me yet refuse to talk to me to my face?? like hello if you want to throw around slurs and gossip to my friends at least have the courage to do so to my face…

I honestly have no idea what sparked this topic, but here’s my take:
I agree fully. AI will never be art. Not just art, but I sincerely hope none of us here use AI to make profit. I don’t really post much on my page, but I’d like to make it clear that I do not support generative AI, nor anyone who actively uses it. GenAI is basically a tool for mass plagiarism, stealing from hundreds of other talented people out there, who’ve posted their work on the internet. It’s not new. It’s not original. It’s the work of many sloppily mashed into one. Please let your art come from YOU. It doesn’t have to be of a certain standard. As long as you think you’ve tried your best and put your heart into it, it’s beautiful in its own way.

On another note, please share the hashtag because you truly care. I see prizes out there, and I genuinely hope you don’t share the hashtag for the sake of the nuggets. It’s not a giveaway. It’s your stand on the matter, be honest with yourself.
