"Robin" Josh says, his voice at a near whisper. "I know we never got along... so this may be a bit out of the blue, but I think I have feelings for you" he explains as he leans in closer to Robin. "I'm sure you feel the same" he answers confidently as he leans in for a kiss.
"Huh-?" Robin asks with a bewildered expression. She steps back, which makes Josh's face fall. "Why would I like you?" Robin asks rather harshly. "Seriously? You think I would have feelings for you? After how you treat other people... how you treat me!?" She shakes her head with a disgusted look. "You are thicker than I thought" she turns around and storms off, searching for Maeve and Cole. She leaves Josh standing alone, who watches Robin leave with a hurt expression.
(Rip, I'm getting second hand embarrassment for Josh)
"Where's Josh?" Cole asks Robin with a sense of conviction, but he has a smile on his face so she knows he is joking.
"Long story, he'll return to the neighborhood later" Robin replies. She waves goodbye to Cole before leaving with Maeve to follow the guards.
The doctor was mercifully gentle, almost motherly when she was tending the young servant's cuts. The bleeding was ... something for Nesryn, and since she was no healer herself, she had to look away to avoid getting dizzy. Last she remembered, the éclairs were ready and cooking and the explosion hadn't damaged it that much so...yeah.
She hoped her flowers were okay; she spent literally hours of her time tending to them, so much so that they could've been her children if they were animated. The doctors finished up the last bandage, warning her to keep her arms above her heart as much as possible; Nesryn was speeding down the polished halls of the castle less than a few minutes later. Upon arriving with Réve and the daughters, she carefully edged past the Knight who was already there. Pausing a moment to catch her breath, she waved to Hazel before announcing that the éclairs and hors d'Oeuvres she'd sent for were ready.
Just like nothing had ever happened.
