*Maddy continued looking towards the skys. She nodded her head* Yes. Yes I have. *Maddy began to have a flashback to when she was 10 years old as she told Faith about her experience outside the walls of the city. She had a gag in her mouth and her hands and feet were tied to a weighted chair. Her eyes were bloodshot, her face was drenched in sweat and tears and from what she could hear, she was on a boat on some body of water. She heard a man talking * Little Madison, back from the dead. It really was a shame about your parents. How long has it been now? 5 years? *Maddy tried to cry out for help but her cry's were muffled. The man laughed* No one is going to come and save you honey. No one will care about the death of a alleyway child who was orphaned after her parents were found dead in her home. *Maddy saw two other men grab her chair begin to lift it up.* And now, I will finally finish the job I started all those years ago.

*The men let go of the chair and she fell into the water. She could see the boat rowing away as she struggled to free herself from the chair. But it was no use. She closed her eyes and began to slow down her struggling as she felt the life begin to leave her body. But then she saw something. A bright glow in the distance of the water. She couldn't quite make it out but once it came closer, she saw a glowing lady who touched her forehead as she let out her final breath. The water around them began to glow and the next thing she knew, she coughed up water on the shore. She looked around and saw nothing but trees and water. But then she saw her savior, looking at her from the opposing shoreline. She reached her hand out but the lady turned and vanished into the forest*

Faith watched Maddy tell her everything, her face twisted in sympathy, the romantic atmostphere snuffed out like a candle. From the distance a bell rang out, it was night fall. Faith cursed at her curfew and the two got out of the pound and re-dressed, as they walked Faith felt the confession threatening to break free so she decided to at least try. "Maddy? I have something I want to tell you, I-"

The sudden loud BOOM! in the castle suddenly broke the night's calm and the two looked up to find that part of the castle wall had been blown off.

*Maddy flinched and ran to cover Faith in case anything happened to her. Nothing happened and Maddy looked at Faith* Quickly, we need to get you somewhere safe. *Maddy held out her hand.* And the safest place right now is towards the kingdom castle. *From the distance Maddy heard someone yell* Are you an idiot? That's probably the worst plan ever *Maddy then years another person yell* SHUT UP LOU!

That and more *he looks at both girls giving them a paper to enter the castle with Drake permission so both can be guards and work in the castle* You both did well and especially you Maeve when you offer your teacher to fight with me. Originally these fights help us recruit experience men and women who have great skill in fighting but most of all what we look for is does who respect and honor one of another in combat, people don't know this but you could give someone else a chance instead of fighting the guard so they can prove themselves and if they win they could also become guards. Usually they always pick to fight one of us or leave being satisfied achievement. So congrats on both of you on becoming knights *he bows to both of them congratulating Maeve and Robin on winning the tournament and becoming full fledge guards in the process*

Faith's eyes darted to the damaged part of the castle as if waiting for more but there wasn't. There weren't any screams either which concerned her.

A surprised look crosses over Robin's face. Did she really want to become a guard? What did she want to do? She knew for a fact she didn't want to be like her, Cole, and Josh's parents, who were all travelling business men and women. Maybe this was the right decision. She is about to thank him when she suddenly hears an explosion. "That sounded like it was from the castle!" The three of them run towards the castle wall, trying to figure out what the problem was.

What!? *Drake runs outside as best he can do to his minor injuries in the fight, he sees the castle spreading smoke from the inside, something must have happen but at this scale to place a bomb or a explosive inside the castle must be the hand of someone on the inside. A guard comes in quickly spotting Drake* "Sir!" What are you standing here for go to castle and bring every guard on duty to the castle now! *Drake went to grab his armor and weapons and run toward Robin and Maeve* Sorry girl's I need to go to the castle, stay here this is serious it ain't like that one time in the library *He waves his goodbyes and runs to the castle with the another fellow guard right behind him*

Your highnesses *A guard came in to look for Faiths daughter and Charlie who were all playing together in there rooms bodding together* We must take you somewhere safe!

*Another guard appear where Revé was with the newly adopted girls * Sir we must take you in these girls somewhere safe *She explain as she waited for him to move*

Robin and Maeve exchange a worried look. "Should we follow him? We have the papers to get in the castle?" Maeve point out. "They may need our help"
"No" Robin answers. "They'll have it covered. If this really is an attack, then the people will also be in trouble. We can walk the streets and see if they are okay" Robin takes a step and slams into Josh, who was standing behind her the whole time. He blocks the surprised punch that Robin throws.
"I'm coming with" Josh announces. "This isn't debatable, let's go, we can pick up Cole on the way"
...
The four walk the streets in pairs. Josh and Robin on one team and Maeve and Cole on the other. They don't expect to find anything, but one can never be too sure.

*Drake was standing at the cause of the explosion and around him were some dead guards some he knew pretty well, more guards came in ready to treat the wounded while others came in to check the explosion* Find any survivors and if you do find one tell me right away! *Drake order his men to spread out as they went in to find any wounded or survivors of the explosion. One guard scream at Drake telling him to come here, Drake walks toward the guard removing the rubble finding a person beneath the rubble. They take her out of the rubble giving her first aid and healing magic she slowly open her eyes and sees she surrounded by the guard, Drake kneels to her level to hear what she has to say* Name Drake your lucky to survive the blast pls tell us what happen...
*The women explain that she was leaving the castle it was her first time here in the kingdom and she was watching the beautiful castle up close, she saw a wagon come by the gates the guard doing an expection and everything, everything seem fine until the wagon stop again the guard went to check it out and bam the explosion happen. She was sent flying a bit by the blast landing near the wall with some of the debris landing on her*

Nesryn, despite working in the gardens all day long as her duty to her queen, was surprisingly familier with the layout of the castle, and despite being turned around by other well-meaning servants, she was able to make her way to the kitchens with little fuss. The cook and matron started initially as the tiny gardener suddenly appeared from out of nowhere, but quickly settled down. Nesryn placed an order for a quick éclair and other snacks that Hazel and Violet would surely enjoy; making sure to mention that Violet was still a child.

Suddenly, a deafening explosion rocked the kitchen, and Nesryn was thrown backward, landing first on her head. The impact knocked her senseless, momentarily winded along with the shattered pieces of silverware around her. She shielded her face from any flying objects, and red dripped on the floor from the cuts on her arm where the glass had not covered it.

*Maddy ran towards the castle with Faith in tow. She looked around and saw the missing castle wall but no attackers. She looked around and didnt see anyone who looked like a threat*

When a large explosion sounded from downstairs, Revé flinched and glanced down at Hazel. "You're royal highness, please don't be scared but I suggest that you and your sister relocate to a safer area." They suggested, looking to one of the guards to help escort the young princesses to a safer place. Revé themself wanted to go down and see what the ruckus was.

One of the larger books in the restricted section of libary had gotten free, it was flopping around on its covers like a fish out of water. When Reve started to aporach it it shot a fireball at them, they ducked and the wall behind them took the blast instead, leaving it chared. It snarled and growled as if it was a wild animal.

A few townspeople are sitting outside of their houses, all chatting with each other and trying to figure out what happened. Maeve and Cole are able to convince them to go back to their houses. The two walk mostly in silence, not really knowing what to say to each other. "Think Josh and Robin will kill each other?" Cole asks Maeve jokingly. She answers with a simple laugh and a shrug before they resume to awkward silence.
...
Robin tries to zone out Josh's constant chatter. How can he talk about himself in a time like this? Robin wonders as she rolls her eyes. She peeks down a few suspicious alleyways. Surprisingly, there isn't anybody down there. With every moment that passes, Robin becomes more convinced that the explosion was an accident of some sort. Or at least, the town was safe from whatever attack this was.

*The guard takes the hit from the flying book fireball leaving his shield almost half burnt to a crisp, he abandons her shield turns to look at Reve* Run! *she goes to distract the book by standing on it's way to avoid more fireballs*

*Another guard was around the kitchen since it was the part that send the most shockwave here, he saw a girl in the floor cover in blood due to the glass and she look unconscious. He lifts her up and takes her to the hospital in the castle*

Leaf looked up and saw the guard carry the girl up. She imedilty patted a spare bed. "Put her here. I'll take care of her, help the others." Leaf went to work on removing the glass shards from the girl's arms and wrapped them.

*Before the women would succumbed to her injuries he told Drake to sent her family a letter in the far kingdom of Telmar and that she wish to be bury there if they could ask her that much of him. Drake was gonna say something but the lady died before he could another word. He orders the men to take her body way and continue the investigation, he went inside the castle to check on the Faith and her kids to see how they are doing. He hears fireball magic inside the castle and to his surprise another curse book was attacking a guard next to the guard was Revé and the kids from the street. He goes to grab the book to close it off before it could do more damage than it's doing and presented to the queen* No more from you...

The area was locked but this book seemed to be smarter. It slipped through the bars and snapped at the group and they were forced to shut the door to keep the book from attacking. Having no one to stop it it wandered around the libary completely docile.
