Supported, but I recommend if it’s one person constantly sending you the same trade, that you block them s they won’t be able to send any more trades.
(Or if that doesn’t work, I’m sorry, I don’t know what to tell ya’)

I have a trade in my private trades from someone that I blocked and I CANNOT GET RID OF IT.

They were using private trades as a way to get in contact with. But because they were suspended the trade will never be canceled and now I cant get rid of it.

Every time I go to my private trades his trade is there with his comment on it. I hate it.

I Want to be able to reject private trades because of this reason.

I have some private trades which I can't tell whether they're supposed to be a gift or a failed attempt at door-to-door advertising, especially with no description

Edit: I must be blind to not have noticed that I've already supported this lol. I guess I'll call it a bump?

I also currently have a Private trade I can not get rid of, I have tried messaging the user who made it and they do not seem to want to remove it on there end, so having the option to reject it would be nice, Even if someone is on your FL I feel you should still have and option to say "hey, no I do not like this trade or I am not interested or I do not need these" by simply hitting a reject button.

This would be helpful as well if users experience spammy private trades before blocking or removing from FL, I can't see any harm is letting the receivers of trade offers have the option to deny a trade on their end.

So I hope this gets added :)

With the recent update, which was a good choice, despite the flukes of users at the moment, I definitely think we need this <3

It'd help remove the notifications from the users who decided to take advantage of the update and past abusers of the system that may still be sitting there in someone's private trades. Since blocking only prevents users from spamming you with more, and doesn't get rid of the notification from before you blocked them, it'd be handy to manually reject them.

If you want to mass trade with people, don't abuse the system and set it to private trade so people indefinitely see it. Use the public GTS to not go against the site's rules.

There's also the fact that blocking someone doesn't prevent them from sending you private trades, for some reason.
(Source: I currently have a PT from someone I have blocked.)

I fully support this. I don't even use the GTS other than to set up PT's to myself to release-lock my shinies, so it'd be wonderful to be able to reject unwanted trades so that I can more easily see which ones I still gotta set back up, and to get rid of said blocked-user's trade.

This is a great idea, I am so sick of people setting up trades asking for thing without any sort of discussion, and being unable to get them to go away.

i can really use a button like that, i sometimes get private trades from (mostly new users) asking for my items or pokemon i don't want to sell or trade it would be better if you could just cancel them

FUll SUPPORT! Its really really anoying when a random person sends you a private trade with a random useless pokemon It would be even better if blocked people were not allowed to send private trades to you though that wouldn't fix the random user sends you a private trade problem. Why is this not being implemented- I need this right now

Definitely support! I think it was a little harder to justify in the past, but with the update, it makes much more sense. I've had a few extremely random trades stuck in my PT for a while, and even just hiding it would be nice!

Absolutely support this idea. I think I've had two different private trades made available to me. Regardless of whether it's directly for me or for their entire friends list, both times were done by two different players that have added me but I didn't add them back. One was actually blocked and it was rather time wasting on my part to even check. They didn't cancel the trade until I PMd them to stop. As someone that's not much into confronting folx on that, it would've saved me the time and stress of taking that measure myself...

It looks like the only reason why people don't support this idea is because most PTs are done between two people who have been communicating what they wish to trade. If that's the case, then this wouldn't affect them anyway because you don't NEED to reject the offer.

It's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. This will be really helpful with stopping spam traders and it saves the User time and energy to confront the User/block them (which some people are saying doesn't even work).

The only problem with this is that someone might reject the offer by accident instead of accepting/offering on it. I can see why that would be annoying but it's a minor (user) error that would solve a much bigger issue.

Support because it would definitely help having some control over which trades you wanna pay attention to.
Considering many people send random trades [sometimes even junk offers] asking for pokemon which may or may not be on sale, without prior communication. And sometimes even when asked to take down the trade, users keep it there for weeks at stretch, until you finally snap and demand them to take it down. This feature will definitely help reduce the amount of spam trades from the private trade section.
