Welcome (or welcome back) to the Artist's Secret Santa! Glad to be joining everyone for a second time! Like a normal secret Santa, the event works like this: in one week, everyone will be assigned a giftee at random, and then you will have until the 24th to complete a drawing for them. On Christmas day, your artwork will be sent to them, and you will receive yours from your secret Santa!
This year, I will be out of the country for the holidays, so all artworks are going to be submitted to and distributed by my helper, MeepTheMareep02! Otherwise, I will be responsible for the rest of the event like last year.

1) General:
1.1) Please follow all site rules.
1.2) Use only the form provided to sign up.
1.3) You must submit your artwork before the deadline; there will be no extensions. If you do not submit your artwork on time, you will not receive a gift and your giftee will be compensated by me. In the case that something comes up that prevents you from finishing on time, please let me know immediately!
1.4) I will not be hosting this event for anyone that I have blocked/has blocked me, regardless of the reason; there will be no exceptions. Do not attempt to contact me about this. You are free to make your own art trade game/secret Santa of course, I don't have ownership over this concept.
1.5) Do not reveal yourself as your giftee's secret Santa no matter what! If you have a question for your giftee, please send the question to me and I will relay the message to them anonymously on your behalf.
1.6) I do not tolerate disrespect to other participants (or other artists in general). Disrespect includes giving unsolicited critique, insulting other's works, and ranking/comparing artists/artworks.
2) Originality and Plagiarism:
2.1) Though it's already stated in the site rules, I do not tolerate art theft. Art theft includes submitting others' art (unedited or edited), traced art, heavily referenced art (if I can pinpoint a singular artwork that you as a reference, you referenced too heavily), and AI "art".
2.2) I do not tolerate character theft. Character theft includes submitting others' characters (without permission, you must provide a screenshot of the owner consenting to their characters' use if you want to submit characters that belong to them) and characters from media (characters based on/inspired from media are fine).
3) Filling out the Form:
3.1) You must submit at least one original character, and you may submit up to five.
3.2) All characters must have at least one clean, fullbody visual reference.
3.3) Because of recent rampant art/character theft, you must submit at least two sketches/WIPs and their completed counterparts or your Safe Artist Directory profile.
3.4) Though you may list artwork and character preferences, your secret Santa does not have any obligation to follow these preferences, so please allow for some artistic freedom.
4) Submitting Art:
4.1) Your artwork can be either digital art or traditional art. If working traditionally, please make sure that your photo is focused and well-lit. I will ask you to retake it if there are any problems.
4.2) Your artwork must not have any watermarks/signatures that cover up more than approximately 10% of the character.

In the case that participants choose to drop out for any reason, I would like to have some backup artists to cover for them! This helps ensure that everyone receives a gift on time, but deadlines may be tight. You must be able to work with a minimum of three day's notice in advance, and I will pay backup artists 500k PD for every artwork made. You may sign up as a regular participant, backup artist, or both.
In "Examples for work", as per rule 3.3, submit "at least two sketches/WIPs and their completed counterparts or your Safe Artist Directory profile". You may submit them as either links or images; if submitting images, please put all images under one spoiler tab to avoid clutter.
For "Artwork/character preferences", refer to rule 3.4 and/or the example form.

Anything that you cannot draw?: Overly complex mecha/robotic designs. Small mechanic details are fine but if it's a full robot or animatronic of sorts I will end up butchering it-

- I prefer Selina and Evander drawn together as they are a couple but it's perfectly fine to draw them solo
- To those with profiles, they should have information in their Design tabs on necessary things to take note/preferences
