After some more complaints, items given to him that he isn't sure are legal and a lot of confusion, Wy takes a deep breath, now faced yet again with a wannabe big shot. A furry kind of person. Canine, probably. Just look at that muzzle...
With a sigh, Wy faces the hyena, impatience of his own showing clearly on his face.
"We have a queue for a reason. I'll try to be to your assistance, though," he tries to give his best smile, though unintentionally showing his fangs in the process. Or maybe intentionally. Wyverns, am I right? "Osiris... just Osiris. Your assigned spouse is the lovely May Prior, you'll be living by Lynx Woods 13. Get back to me if you haven't seen anyone with the name 'May Prior' in the next 24 hours. Here's the stuff you'll be needing."
He hands him the usual equipment. And gives him a solid pat on the shoulder to send him away. Just to be that little more annoying.

A thought dawns on him. 'Huh. Did I even give the equipment to the needles girl? Uh.' He waves a birdperson over in plain guard attire, noticing them of a 'Sukuna Shine' in need of basic items. It's beginning to get dark... It'd suck to be stuck outside for the whole night.

Geira's ears perk upwards. A voice? Footsteps coming closer... A hand on her shoulder?! She tries to stand up fully, trying to show how tall and mighty she is, as such is the introduction and any and all newcomers, naturally, but she eventually realizes... She's still stuck, huh. She feels utterly shameful. She can't even show her manners.
She can hear the hushed movement of a tail if she truly concentrates. Wolf?! By the mention of her name, this person had to be her partner, right? Is her spouse a wolf?! She tries desperately to get a better look at the creature behind her, but to no avail. She slumps her shoulders in defeat. As much as she can, anyways.
Time to speak, then.

"Please destroy the door."

Well, this was certainly something to wake up to.
Leo Pinn had, rather unfortunately, been asleep at the time of teleportation, and was evidently enjoying whatever blissful dream he had been enticed into viewing. Somehow, he'd slumbered throughout the opening speech and the abundant crowds rushing forth to obtain their new addresses, and was only now waking up as dusk dragged itself sluggishly over the town. His eyes slid open easily, not having to adjust to the fading light. Needless to say, Leo was not used to waking up on the cold pavement of an alien planet.
After retrieving his glasses from the floor he stood, cleansing himself of dirt with a few swift movements of his hand. His eyes, now faintly but visibly glowing, darted around the area, absorbing the kaleidoscope of creatures and settling on one rather peculiar scaled man that seemed to know what he was doing.
Regaining his regal posture, Leo elegantly strode to the lizard-man, looming above most oddities there [I forgot to mention that he's 7ft tall hah]. He walked straight through the crowd, allowing those that moved out of his way a thankful glance and those that didn't a kick in the shins. After a rather painful minute of this - though surely more painful for the stubborn people that decided against moving - he reached what he could now call a humanoid dragon, and met his eyes in an indifferent stare.
"It would appear that some poor, misguided being has dropped me on the wrong planet. Could you arrange for someone to take me back to my castle. Soon, if you would. Much appreciated." He didn't see the need to announce who he was, for he couldn't have been taken all too far from his home planet so surely this... Reptile must recognise him. Though nobody else seemed to, or at least, nobody he'd seen. He was rather alarmed that they weren't all bowing to his grace and might as he'd expected, but he supposed that some minor beings just weren't capable of understanding his complexity and importance.

Lin woke up to Fog staring at her, his bright eyes wide open. "Hey! Don't do that!" she grumbled angrily. "Sorry Lin!" it cackled happily, "but its in my nature to trick and pull pranks on people!" She looked at Fog curiously. "Pranks eh? Hmm...I can use that..."she thought to herself. Lin looked around, her "spouse" was still not there. She picked up Fog the cloud-axolotl and started to stroke him, whilst reading Crime and Punishment, a favourite of hers by an author called Fyodor Dostoevsky. As, Lin flicked the pages, a sense of boredom and loneliness enveloped her like a blanket. Even with Fog here, she was still alone.

Though she did notice his prosthetic arms and didn't mind, she was troubled by his smile fading away."Ah! M-May I join,if you don't mind of course? You entered a couple of minutes after I did,so I didn't have time to figure out which room is which..." she quickly replied, trying to distract Darian from his arms or whatever it was that was troubling him. She moved her tail behind her, trying to keep the wiggling as minimum as possible. She would never be able to forgive herself if he tripped because of her. She had no objection to sleeping on the ground,if he ever brought it up. He had every reason to not want a creature like her sleeping beside him, since her lower body was that of a snakes and it was quite lengthy as well.

Osiris growled at the pat, his displeasure written quite clearly over his elongated snout. Doing his best to view the supplies he'd been given with his binds on, his started to mutter... Several things. Stalking away from the group, he realized his hackles were raised. Hardly ten minutes here and he was already aggressive. That was a good sign. Rearranging several items, Osiris began to examine the supplies closer, his sharp eyes trying to pick out anything odd in the several items.

Wy looks straight ahead. It's like if a tower is coming towards him. Wy isn't scared of other prisoners so easily, especially the ones that try to act tougher than they are, but this guy doesn't really... give off... any kind of wannabe energy. He acts and talks like the real deal. Have to respect that, Wy figures.
"I do apologize, but I can't send you back. I don't have the power to do that. You'll have to act just as any of the other people behind..." Wy looks past the feline guy, seeing people nearly cower in fear. "So! You're Leo Pinn, right? There's a whole page about you on the tablet. Royalty, huh."

He rubs the back of his head. "Things work a bit... differently, here. I don't think there's anybody else here from your own planet. Moving on to the technical stuff... you'll be living by a place named Griffon Alley 2. Your assigned spouse is a person named Lin Mizayaki. I'll give you a map and a nametag now. If there's anymore questions, I'd be happy to answer."

Lin walked casually out of the small house and gazed around. Where was her "spouse"? She frowned sightly. Climbing onto the roof, her favourite place, she started at the clouds and wondered about the crimes she committed to be here. She shouldn't be here, Lin should be in a securely guarded place, not this but she wasn't going to complain.

Hazily, the vixen came to.

The sanguine, mysterious, yet endlessly stunning vixen awakening from her shadowy slumber. Confused vulpine eyes scanned the sky groggily, as if she had just woken from a long sleep; her vision slowly sharpened and became normal. It took but a moment for the vixen to realize that her glamour was no more; she lay sprawled on her side, russet fur and vulpine traits on full display, nine long fox tails fanning behind her. It only took a few moments for the graceful vulpine being to take in her surroundings, the faint graying of the heavens: it was nearly nighttime? Yes, for it seemed twilight was falling as she lay there under the heavens, the nighttime display that was sure to come was just as likely to be blocked by a dreary congestion of clouds. Possibly, it would rain tonight. Unfortunately, analysis only gave way to confusion, that put a frown on her thin muzzle - a funny look considering that her face was rarely given over to such unpleasant gestures - and managed to at last get on her four paws, no doubt a bit unbalanced. The fox did not recognize her surroundings, and her ears pricked as confusion gave way to fretting and the melancholic despair that came with a genuine loss for what to do in her situation. The fox was no damsel, however, and she quickly began to take in as much as possible without making it look obvious. Her senses riddled off information to her through scent, touch and smell. Might she admit it herself, but her senses were quite sharp and refined. The unmistakable scent of rain-washed stone, as well as an earthen scent, made her ears prick. Humans, no doubt. She wasn't alone, yet the vixen didn't know whether she should be relieved or worried that this was true. Relief won out; humans were good. Humans could likely give the vixen an idea of where she was. The lush flame-fleshed form took a deep breath before following the instinctive trail that her senses laid out before her.

But like any clever fox, she did not appear the crowd as a sleek, enamoring vixen. No, in the mist that hung low over the well-paved asphalt, she shed her golden pelt and piercing electric blue optics for something more muted. More...approachable, if not for its normality. A rich cascade of ebony hair elegantly framed her face, which was slightly pointed at the chin. Her normally striking eyes had taken on a warmer hue of warm periwinkle, undoubtedly inviting yet contemplative and mysterious. A soft yet confused appearance completed the ruse. A wolf, or a fox rather, in sheep's clothing. Nonetheless, despite her demure appearance as a girl who called herself a self-appointed name; May Pryor, the fox's eye had lost their confusion, and now remained sharp and alert, peeled for any dangers, or anything that could help her in her current situation.

May's feet touched down upon concrete, a different texture, and she found herself in a square. There were voices up ahead, beckoning to her - they belonged to a crowd that was mostly dispersing. There were still quite a few individuals; some with more eccentric traits than others. Apparently, not just humans had been brought to this strange place. There was an informant, yes, a dragon? How mystical! How rare it was to see one of those noble beasts, born from stone and fire. She wasted no time in moving closer toward him, eager to make herself seen and heard. The vixen stifled a yip as some of the creatures present jostled her, unintentionally of course. It didn't take long for her eyes to capture his attention, and she quickly started to speak before she lost him. "I apologize sir; it appears that I am late this party." May chirped in bright, serene tones, "Unfortunately, I have no idea where I am, and it is rather late. I have missed so much! I was hoping you could perhaps enlighten me on such pieces of information?"

Judging from the surprised look and the small cough, it appears that she had flustered him somewhat. May blushed a bit at that thought. Foxes have sly ways, easily enough to flatter and overwhelm the unprepared. Apparently, this wyvern fell into that category. "Oh, dear me my apologies! You really surprised me there." They mumbled, nearly dropping their clipboard in their haste, face turning claret at the attention this beautiful female was giving him. "My name is Wy. Really creative right? Wy, wyvern? Ah- anyways, I presume you are May Pryor. You'll be in Lynx Wood. Your - ah- spouse, is Osiris. He was just asking about you in fact."

May blinked. Spouse? Did she hear him correctly? She didn't know whether or not she should be shocked, indignant, or just plain amused. The laugh that came out of her mouth was all three, polite titters that easily communicated the hilarity of his proposal. Kumiho had long lifespans, more so than humans and most mortal creatures, and as such, they never dwelled on permanence. They also usually did not take on lovers. 'I do pity my spouse, to be tied with a vixen like me. Where is this Osiris? Where am I going to find him?' "What a curious suggestion you have here! Oh Wy, you are delightful!" She laughed at the wyvern-human, keeping her gaze playful, "Spouse! I sure hope you don't mean marriage. That would be quite unfortunate for me, so permanent. I have too more to explore of the world before I settle!" Shaking her head, and accepting both nametag and map, she turned back for some explanation as to where he expected the fae to start looking for her 'partner' when she thought she spotted the word Osiris hanging on another creatures' nametag. Ah, there he was, although he did not seem sociable. All gnashing teeth and sharp angles, with eyes that burned with ire and hate. A brute, no doubt, yet with the same primal ferocity that she summouned when in her true form, donning the moon's coat and harkening to her bestial roots.

Perhaps that was why she approached the brute, clearing her throat as she hailed him. "You're Osiris, I presume? I'm May Pryor. I'm terribly sorry for keeping you waiting here while I was out like a light. Apparently, we're dubbed housemates, despite that being a terrible idea. Do you know where we'll be staying? It's getting dark, better to find shelter."

Darian paused, turning towards Myrcine in order to give a response. He figured he might as well show some respect, it wasn't like this wasn't going to be their only interactions. "No, I don't mind at all." His smile reappeared faintly as he turned back around and waited for her to follow. Darian wasn't too sure on what his partner thought of him, which uneased him. They were all criminals in some way or another, so surely it wouldn't be too hard for anyone here to get their hands dirty. Well, if that was the case, he just had to be prepared. Well, judging from Myrcine's expressions so far, would she be able to see his uncertainty? Would she react to a weakness such as that? No, he needed to stop this. He was thinking way too hard about it. All he really needed to do was watch and silently take notes, everything else could be treated as a normal interaction. Trust was a tricky thing, quite fragile too, one that would break as easily as tissue paper. He looked back at the serpant and gave her one more look, then started to move towards the rest of the house.

Freja heard the click of a door opening and shutting. Immediately alert, she gazed towards her closed bedroom door as if something were to barge in at any moment and attack her. Eren must have heard it too, because he gave a little tweet and ruffled his feathers. Wind blew through the open window, chilled from the ever-darkening sky, sending a trickle of uneasiness down Freja's spine. As the new guest entered the second floor and opened the door to their room, Eren became spooked and flew out of the window with a squawk, flapping his wings and gliding out, disappearing into the sky in a few wing flaps. Freja sighed and walked over to where her friend had left, closing the window and pulling shut the curtains. She turned her head and gazed back at her door, thinking about the new resident of the house she had been given to share. It must be her spouse.

With her thoughts still conflicting, she walked over to the door, placing her hand against the silver doorknob, feeling its smooth surface twist beneath her rough fingers. She decided to go say hi at least, and she would go back down to the first floor and find something to do. If he wanted to come with, he could, but she would leave it at that. No use getting herself into something she was going to regret.

With a set expression hardened onto her face, she twisted the door handle and pulled open the door, flicking off the lights and walking out. She peeked into the room opposite hers, spotting the creature inside, resting on the beanbag chair beneath the window. Already sensing he was odd, she figured this must be the Izumi fellow. He seemed nice... sort of. She really couldn't tell, but he certainly wasn't human, and he didn't notice her until she addressed herself.
"Hello. I assume you're Izumi. My name is Freja, and we're going to be living in this hell-hole together for a while. I'll be downstairs seeing if there's any food to eat. Come get me if you need something, not before."
She finished her introduction and pulled her head out of the room, turning and walking downstairs, not giving him time to respond. She had kept her voice sharp and simple, only giving him what he needed to hear, and making her point clearly enough to not be bothered unless there was something important. Despite all her hidden curiosities, she felt a distaste for this 'Izumi', and she did not entirely wish to hear his voice, especially not directed at her.

Climbing down the wooden stairs, she felt the floor dip and creak beneath her foot as she reached the base. Walking over to the kitchen, she examined it with more interest this time, trying to make out someplace where food might be stocked. The kitchen held a white fridge that had two doors opening up to wide shelves and an inner-door shelf, along with a water filter and ice machine on the second door. The stove was plain and electric, with simple buttons and knobs, the top black. The oven rested beneath the stove and was mostly a silver-grey with a window in the middle to view the cooked food. Wooden cabinets settled above the stove looked almost intimidating and very rickety, as if they could fall at any moment and crush whatever was inside and around them. Next to the stove was a black-colored counter with a microwave plugged in and sitting atop it. A sink was nestled at the far end of the counter, with an empty knife-holder sitting in between the microwave and the sink. Cabinets below the counter top were painted white and were taller than the ones above the stove, allowing more storage space for things that did not need refrigeration.

Freja examined this all with a bored expression, but she was glad to have everything she needed if she were to make some food. Unfortunately, she was missing one key ingredient to any good meal- the actual food itself. She glanced around one final time before heading over to the fridge. It would probably be empty but it was worth a shot. Grabbing the fridge handles and pulling open the doors, she was shocked and amazed to find that it had already been filled with food. She blinked and shut the fridge again. She supposed it made sense, they didn't want their residents to starve, but still... she shook her head. She decided not to make any food right now, and she walked into the living room to find something to do, her hands beginning to fidget from being empty for too long.

As she went to sit down on one of the chairs, she noticed a bookshelf perched in the corner of the wall with the TV, something she had not noticed when she did her initial sweep of the house. She figured it would be alright to go find a book to read, so she strode over and took a look, examining the spine titles to find one that interested her. Eventually she found one that looked to be about a race of humanoid dragons, which had spiked her interest as she had always been fond of mythical creatures, despite her world being nearly destroyed by them. Lighting a lamp and sitting down on the grey couch, she flipped open the book cover to the first page and started reading.

Xera froze. “Destroy,” She breathed, her hands shivering as she held who could be her spouse’s shoulder. “Destroy the door? Can you not... reverse?” She widened her eyes, feeling incredibly awkward and nervous. She didn’t care about her spouse, but she cared about people. Injuring someone is not a thing she enjoys, that’s one thing she’d learnt over her years. She gulped hard upon seeing the wagging tail. Just who would she have to bond with..? She gritted her teeth harder.

Geira instinctly straightened her tail, trying to show whoever was behind her the face (well, back) of a true, mighty leader. She nods her head as well as she can, and on further thought also swings it side to side. "Shoulders are pressed tightly against door. Can't get out."

Her ears twitch as she hears a sudden melody. A... harp? That is... a rare instrument.

"Greetings, you delightful people and non-people of the nation. You are listening to the gracious Myltiades speaking. That is spelled M-Y-L-T-I-A-D-E-S to all those who might write my name in either their book of praise or hate. I come bearing a simple message with no harm intended. The day is turning to night, and it will be wisest for you all to head to bed. For nocturnal creatures we offer a speed-course in how to sleep fast at night. A long day is awaiting you tomorrow. I hope you'll all enjoy what is awaiting you."
The voice tunes out. The harp plays a peaceful melody before it, too, vanishes.

Geira really wishes that she could see right now. Myltiades... that is a name of power. She thinks. She's not quite sure. She asks her potiental spouse again; "Please break the wall. I'm tough. Can take it."

Lin sighed sadly, the clouds were turning grey, a sign that she couldn't stay on the roof any longer. She hopped down and went to investigate the house, as she barely looked at it when she first entered the room. The kitchen had its basic appliances and the walls were again white but this time the floor was a reddish-brown. The shelves were oak and they housed plates and cups. She peered around again but couldn't see anything remotely interesting. She quickly saw that the knives were all small and blunt, a precaution perhaps, because of why she was here. The bathroom tiled black and white, with beige shower curtains. She liked her room the best, it had that feeling of being old and cosy, which was a strange combination but she enjoyed it nevertheless. Lin ignored the room that was going to be her "spouses", she didn't care what it looked like. A map of the area lay on her bed, she picked it up and skim-read it, finding nothing that suited her need. Her silvery hair glinted in the yellow light of the morning and her blue eyes scanned the room for anything useful. Nothing. Heaving another melancholy sigh and slumped down in a scratched and battered black bean bag chair.

Izumi cracked an eye open when the door to the room opened, sharp blue eyes flickering to take in who had entered before it closed again in disinterest. She didn't look like much, seaweed like hair clinging onto pasty skin and a scowl on her face topping off the ensemble of unpleasantness that was his "spouse". Even the pale sun was more interesting than her and he emphasized it by not really listening to her as she made pleasantries and small talk. Or at least that's what he assumed but Freja's curt introduction left the other sputtering. "Wha- Oi! Come back here you algae! Where are your manners?!" He barked, swinging slender legs over the beanbag. The floor was slightly warm from the sun as he stumbled for a moment before storming downstairs. Finding the mop of unruly hair lounging on the couch and he huffed, placing his hands on his hips.

"Listen up, I'll only say it once. My name is--" A slither of sounds escaped his throat, a mix of guttural and rasping noises that one couldn't hope to replicate on the first try "Or 'One Who is Born by the Clear Springs of the Winter Shoal Within the Clan of The Arboreal Dwellers'. The closest translation that can be used as a name that this language has would be Izumi so that is what you may call me. Or don't. I couldn't care less what odd human name you choose to call me. Now, is there anything you would like to eat because I'm going to cook and if you don't tell me then I'm going to give you kale salad and you're going to like it. Before you try and say it, yes. This counts as important." Finished with his speech, Izumi stalked into the kitchen, throwing open the door to what he presumed was the ice box. He was proven right and he had to stop himself from voicing his victory. There was at least food which Izumi was thankful for since he would have looked like a damn fool for declaring that he would make something when there was nothing to make it from. Pulling out vegetables, he ran through his head different recipes while cross checking with the present ingredients within the fridge before landing on a simple kale salad as promised. From that selection he picked a shrimp salad paired with a vinaigrette and fruit. Nodding in satisfaction, he began to remove the ingredients and place them on the counter. The temptation to simply take the slab of beef shoulder and swallow it whole was tempting but he ultimately bumped the fridge door shut with his hip before he could give into it.

Thoroughly washing not only his hands but the food he would be preparing, Izumi set to work, separating and preparing the kale as a foot came up to open cupboards, eyes searching for a bowl rather than making sure that what he was doing was right. He didn't need to look anyways, the recipe ingrained in his muscles after years of preparing food. Finding the needed tools, he set the bowl on the burner. It looked usable and much more complicated than what he had at home as he spent a good few minutes puzzling over how to work. He had to bite back a yelp when with a turn of the buttons a fire sparked to life, wide eyes staring at wonder at how quickly something was ignited. That was convenient. Sprinkling oil, chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper onto the shrimps and massaging the marinade into the meat, Izumi threw the garlic and shrimps into the now adequately preheated bowl and began to flip them with one hand, humming absently as he pulled out a wooden bowl with the other. The burning hot metal barely phased the inhuman resident as he plated the salad, song lilting and lovely to the ear. It paired well with the soft sizzle of the fire, a sweat aroma mingling with the melody. If Izumi closed his eyes, he could almost imagine that he was back at home, Siblings surrounding them as they sang while preparing the meals. Human social norms were so different from what he was used to and the cramped space of the kitchen reminded that humans don't usually see cooking as a ritual as Izumi did.

"Ah! Glad to hear that." she replied, following behind him. She didn't even know such kind of furniture existed, some were completely new while most others were just mostly forgot. She really wanted to get a feel of every object in every room they walked in but she didn't want to stay behind. "So...uhm...since we'll be living together,I think we should get to know each other a bit,if you want! O-Of course,we'll learn even more about each other naturally as time goes on but I think it would be easier to talk to each other if we kind of...get familiar with each other at the start..." she quietly suggested. It was quiet evident that she hadn't had a proper social interaction nor a person to talk to in ages, but she tried her best.

The house they lived was quite pleasant. Not too big and not too small. It was definitely better than benches and the pavement so you wouldn't hear Myrcine complain. As soon as you entered you were met with the living room, which had a relatively big table in the middle, about three to two chairs and a couch. To the right of the living room was the hall which connected the toilet, the kitchen and the bedroom. The kitchen had just the bare necessities for an average cook to prepare a basic meal, including pans, ovens and whatnot. The toilet room however was by far the smallest room, having a sink,a toilet and a cast iron bathtub.

Osiris straightened his back, hearing a voice call to him as he examined his map through the bars of his muzzle. Glancing up and around, he settled his gaze on who-or what- had called for him. Something... Like a fox, though.... Not quite a fox at all. Osiris let his grimace pierce the cage over his teeth, the shackles at his wrists straining against his upper body as he analyzed this newcomer; May Pryor, as it seemed. Perhaps he'd best get used to her, seeing as she was to be his housemate. He wasn't, however, looking forwards to the idea: a fox seemed something more trickery than assistance, more than likely going to cause issues for him if he ever attempted something.

"Some place in a woods, something about a lynx. I'd shake your hand in greeting, but there's several problems with that.." He nodded at his own shackles first, indicating that they would be the first hinderance. Secondly, he nodded at May, indicating that she would be the second issue. "Despite that, you're right." He grumbled something beneath his breath, staring at the sky for a long moment, streaks of blood from the dying sun cast across the clouds above them. "According to the map, we've got to go that way." He nodded over his shoulder, having arranged what was now a crumpled scrap of paper to match his directional orientation.
The shackles clearly made it difficult, and the muzzle hindered his speech ever so slightly- But he still operated quite fine, legs unscathed by the embrace of the metal. His claws seemed nimble enough, carefully trying to fold the map before shoving the folded paper under one cuff to hold it.

There it was, the inevitable request that he had hoped whatever god there was would give him mercy, but unfortunately it didn't seem like so. Darian wasn't one to give out info, unless it was mandatory or something he could play around with. But alas, the situation didn't seem to call for either of those. As he pondered about his options, he looked around the kitchen, observing every appliance. This place, strangely, felt like the only real room in this house. It didn't seem forced or treated like a joke, it was just a simple kitchen. "Hmm... Honestly, I don't have much to share about myself..." He responded quietly as he picked up a cup, then put it down soon after. "Wouldn't be fair if you told me more than I could tell you, right?" Well, it's not like she was the type to bargain, considering the way she worded her request. It wouldn't hurt to learn more about her, especially with little to no cost.
"The phrase “it’s just a game” is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you’ve lost twice. There’s always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle."
-Sun Tsu, The Art of Gaming

Lin's stomach growled, she hadn't eaten in a while. Lin walked silently downstairs into the kitchen and looked to see if there was any food. Noticing that the food there weren't enough to eat on their own, she decided to whip up a quick omelette and toast. After buttering the toast and placing the omelette gently on her plate, she thought for a second. If her "spouse" ever arrived to the house he might be hungry. She quickly prepared another plate and set it down on the table, with a glass of ice cold orange juice to wash it down. She poured herself a glass and went upstairs again, eating her food slowly whilst she stared out of the window, looking for people to talk to, or when her "spouse" arrived. If he ever did...

Despite his luminescent eyes, Leo's face visibly darkened as the dragon continued speaking. Not allowed to return home? Preposterous! Outrageous! Someone such as himself should not be confined to some grotty, run-down planet of misbehaving creatures. And being told to act as everyone else - he almost laughed at the idea. Leo Pinn was not an average person; he was proud, dignified, headstrong-
And he was being handed a nametag. A nametag. He gawked at it for a while, then once again looked to the lizard, his eyes practically roaring with anger, as was every other part of his nimble body.
"You- you dare to hand me a nametag?" His tone was incredulous, toxic, scornful. "This-" He threw said nametag on the ground and heaved one of his great boots down onto it, smashing it with ease. "This is a disgrace! I shall not be donning your means of identification, nor shall I be staying in this- this god-forsaken town of yours much longer! I belong in great halls of gold and silver, gardens of beauty and grace, not this.. Junkyard!" Despite his evident levels of anger, Leo's tone had calmed, leaving his monologue more of a hissed taboo than a howled speech. "You, sire, had better watch your feet," he glared at the dragon. "Be sure to avoid the pit of snakes."
After he'd finished his somewhat childish tantrum, Leo turned, then realised that he hadn't a clue where he was supposed to be staying - temporarily - so spun and snatched the map from the scaled man, who hadn't been given a chance to give it to Leo. With a final 'hmph', he stalked away, ignoring the many stares of the people he passed.
Before Leo had thrown a hissy fit, he'd managed to briefly catch a few important pieces of information, though the memories were hazy amongst his flooding thoughts. Griffon road three, L.. Lane something-yaki. He unfolded the map and started towards Griffon Alley (which he had unsurprisingly gotten the name of wrong) with his head held high.

By the time Leo had reached the front door of Griffon Alley two - Griffon Alley three had been home to a rather sensitive couple which did not appreciate him knocking on their door at this hour - he'd calmed down substantially, and was smoothing down his shirt in order to make a good first impression on his "spouse". He was inclined to leave this hell hole as soon as possible, and was prepared to do anything to reach this goal, no matter the cost.
Slowly, somewhat timidly, he raised his fist and knocked thrice on the door. Barging in would seem rude if anyone was inside, he reckoned, so leant towards a more polite entrance instead.

Lin heard a knocking at the door and opened it slightly. She peered at the boy behind it. "Leo Pin?" she asked curiously. If this was Leo, he resembled a figure of royalty and looked like a person to respect. "Come in," she muttered and held the door wide open. "If you go to the kitchen, I made some food for you, hope you enjoy it," Lin said, annoyed at his late arrival. "When you are done, go upstairs and I'll show you your room," Lin picked up Fog and went upstairs, happy that her "spouse" had arrived.
