This will go hand in hand with this suggestion here.

Basically, this suggestion is for ultimately to prevent a banned users party Pokémon from showing up in the Online Clicklist if they happen to come online. That would be by not letting their Last Action update even if they happen to come online.

There's a particular banned user (not going to say the name) who comes online just about every day, and their Pokemon are always in the Online Clicklist. The reason why they are doing this is simply due to them wanting to level up their Pokémon and for them to of course get more clicks on them from everyone else easily, no other reason really. Why they do it is because they can still compete in the Strongest Pokémon ranklist, but my other suggestion already covers dealing with that part of the problem.

Realistically speaking? This shouldn't even need to be a suggestion, but clearly a particular banned user is still somehow playing and enjoying the game for months on end now.

Does that not defeat the purpose of being banned?

If this suggestion gets implemented, then it will definitely highly discourage the behavior that this banned user in particular has been proving to show for months now. On top of that, it will also help all these banned users actually move on. Especially if they have received something such as a permanent ban and are highly unlikely to ever be unbanned.

Anyway, can't think of any con with this being a thing.

Banned users don't deserve a place any longer on this site/deserve any sort of platform (in this case PokéHeroes) in any sort of capacity. They violated the site rules and didn't abide by them and deserve the punishment they have received.

The only thing a banned user should be able to do is given at least a chance to appeal their ban, nothing else.

They are banned from the site but by allowing their party to remain in the click lists defeats a large part of being banned. I support this suggestion.

I cannot see why people would not want this implemented and curious as to why it shouldn't from those who voted that way. Inquiring minds wanna know :P

I still don't get why the Pokemon of a banned user still appear in clicklists. I support this.

Ok so listen to me for a sec with open minds. Let’s say you are banned from here.
Now would you even have the determination to do what they have been doing for months? Like I know if I’m banned here I’d never visit this site again.
If they are willing to spend so much time even after getting banned on here for no reason other then to stay in the rank list then I say why not. Most of us won’t even work for that, but if they are they deserve to stay in there.

Might not make sense to everyone sorry about that. But no support.

To be honest I don't know how this suggestion is going to affect the users that are enjoying the game. And I don't know if anyone has noticed it but one of the poke of a permanent banned user (which is in the strongest pokemon category) gets around 45-50 guest clicks everyday. I don't know why but I think it is used to advertise Pokeheroes.

Going with absol-girl, some banned users check in everyday just to keep up on the rank list. that’s determination there. no support.

thanks for coming to my little ted talk.

Besides the point.

They may as well be unbanned following that logic. No point of being banned if you can still play and have goals on this site.

Quote from NeynoTo be honest I don't know how this suggestion is going to affect the users that are enjoying the game.

It will affect that one banned user who still is that shouldn't be able to enjoy the game. It will also affect us all knowing that bans on this site are true bans that cease and prohibit all game/site activity from users who are banned. Just the way bans should be.

Mmmmm not precisely...

I'm very positive from my own observations, it's the user of the Pokémon switching under different IPs to interact with their Pokémon as a guest simply because more clicks = more EXP. I doubt it's being used as advertising of any sort.

I support this suggestion. If a person has been banned from the site, they should not be allowed to participate and still in some way maintain their privileges. The rank mentioned, should be available for somebody still properly a member of this site to be able to take over the top spot. I'm sure if people thought they had a chance, they would be more active in pursuing that goal.

Why should my interactions go toward someone who can never return them? Why should someone who broke the rules of this site benefit from my clicking? It earns me nothing - I could get the same PD interacting with someone else's Pokémon. Banned users should not benefit from what rule-abiding players do. It's not fair to the rest of us.

If this is the user I'm thinking of (at least, the one with the many guest clicks), the reason they get so many guest clicks is because of Yarolds, where this user is an administrator. It's a click exchange site, even if their Pokemon wouldn't show on the online list, they could still have them put on Yarolds. To completely eliminate the issue you'd need to prevent the Pokemon of banned users to receive any interactions at all. I'd link their profile on there as proof, because their Pokemon who is on the strongest Pokemon list is registered on there, but I don't know that I should per the rules. You're free to go on and find them, they aren't hard to find.

Of course, I support this + preventing the Pokemon of banned users to be interacted with to completely eliminate the issue.

@absol-girl: It sounds like you're attempting to play devil's advocate just for the sake of playing devil's advocate. The whole determination argument fails when it's literally violating the definition of being account locked.

While technically not impossible, removing them from the clicklist(s) would cause performance issues, which is the last thing we want in a clicklist.

The closest we'd get to that, is simply not updating the 'Last Action' so they won't show up in the 'currently online' list, as they won't be registered as online anymore.
This way, banned users will only have pokémon show up in 'random' and 'friendlist party/storage boxes', as other lists have other criteria that will keep them out. This is the best that can be done ^^'

Yeah I guess that makes sense. The rank can be or rather should be of someone who is not banned. 😊😊
Other than that I see no problem. I mean they aren’t enjoying the game per say. Only looking at a screen saying you are banned fo hours (or keeping it open in a tab). But yeah I get where you are coming from. So yeah changing my vote.

Support from me but only cause that rank should be of someone who is not a banned member. 👍👍

Edit:
Also why not just remove the accounts of perma banned people completely, after of course giving them time to plead their case. If it seems that they are unlikely to ever come back cause of full proof evidence against them or something like that, just delete their account. The pokes will be released every thing lost. They won’t be able to get interactions, cause they won’t have any pokes. 😊
And it will decrease the burden on the site I guess making it a bit smoother. (That is a thing right? Or will it not affect it at all? 😅😅)

Or maybe instead of completely removing their data make a storage space kinda thingy. Their account will be deleted but n case they ever do get unbanned (highly unlikely) their data can be retrieved from there.

I hope this makes sense to you, 😊😊

Not possible. This would cause problems with pokémon they hatched, posts [or threads] they made,. . . Removing accounts is not an option.
[And storing that information elsewhere would cause the same problem, as the site would be trying to find information that's not in the same place anymore]

Hmm, well I was going to ask why permanently banned players don't have their accounts deleted, but if it causes problems across the whole website then that's the last thing we want.

I do want to ask, though, is it possible to remove all of a banned players trades in the GTS?
I have been looking through the GTS for the past 3-4 days and almost all the pokemon I want to trade for come from banned accounts, it makes it really hard to tell too since you have to go on the trade, select a pokemon, check their profile and then check their trainer profile to see.
Would it at least be possible to put some sort of marker on trades coming from banned accounts to make this easier? Or even a filter option?
If these people are permanently banned then they should cause the least effect possible despite being unable to delete their accounts.

Implemented!
The online status of banned users no longer updates when they log in. Thus, their Pokémon do no longer appear in most clicklists (except for Friendlist ones).
