So, a few hours ago, I was going to claim my free hourly DP and accidentally clicked the Event Shop. Then I wondered, "Why don't we have hourly and daily challenges for the Event Shop?"


In my opinion, we should definitely have some. After all, DP is technically worth more (1 nugget = ~3 DP and 1 nugget = 10 Event Points). A common event egg cost 1,200 Event Points, which is 200 nuggets, which it definitely is not worth. And if you want to hunt a common event, it costs 30,000 Event Points, which is 3,000 nuggets. You can do that for free if you have enough patience!


Really the only difference besides price is that you can get event points in mystery boxes. But you can only get a small amount of them, which would take forever to save up to actually get something.


I made a post asking if people would support the idea of hourly/daily challenges in the event shop and the response was tremendous! Everyone said that they would really like to see this come to the game.

Yes, I would love this! I'm a new player who is currently in the process of collecting past events, and this would definitely help me in my personal search. I'm sure there are others who are probably attempting the same thing for events that they've missed!

Going to branch off this idea a bit.

Currently, it is possible to gain EP through opening Mystery Boxes. Though the amount is randomized. The same cannot be said of DP.

Just a passing thought.

Definitely agree with this since the usual price for common shiny event Pokemon is way less than 3,000 nuggets when you're selling them and it's sort of a waste of nuggets if you think about it. We won't have to spend 3k nuggets if we have this suggestion implemented and have actual patience to get to 30k EP lol

Only if we dont get many points and they are hard to get.

Tbh dp are worth less since they are kinda easy to get (i would exchange them 1:1 for events points any time)

Dp are bought with nuggets really rarely i suppose.

But event points on the other hand are probably the biggest nugget-drainer besides premium and therefore help riako to make enough profit to keep this side running.

Keep in mind that we can hunt events without the vouchers too and that those just speed up our hunts. With tasks that give "too" many event points people would maybe stop using nuggets for them and shiny/megaable events would be lowered in value.

We already got chances to get event-vouchers relatively cheap in the sales last year.

Therefore currently neither support nor decline since its not stated how many event points we could/should get but i wanted to show the negative sides too if there are given out a lot of event points by this way.

hey i'm totally for this! though, like zarkesh said, they'd have to be hard to get and not very many points, but this is still a really good idea!

I support this all the way! Of course, as long as the points aren't too easy to get. This would really help in getting missed events.

Either this, or lower the cost of event passes. The nuggets needed to be spent on premium + event points for an event pass is too high for a game that's all about completion of the dex, both shiny and "regular". I would definitely buy event passes if the nugget cost was lower or if we could have daily tasks to get event points.
