Kayda grits her teeth. Yet another capitol traitor. She couldn't wait to be in the arena with her. She would end this girl's life for daring to do this.
(Time skip to arena?)
Molly stared at the dress transfixed. It was a beautiful piece of work, something that he could admire as someone who grew up in the textile district. The cloth looked so intricate to be able to catch on fire like that and transform, Molly had to applaud the designer. Even if he was watching from his room, Molly couldn't help but feel nervous.
Julian scowled at the TV in his room, jabbing the power off button. While he still held contempt for betrayers and backstabbers, he had to give it to the girl for being so brave as to stand up to the capital so publicly.
Each tribute was roused by his or her mentor and given part of what they'd be wearing in the arena to change into: Black shorts, a light green tank top, a sturdy brown belt, soft leather boots with a naroow flexible rubbler sle with treads which would be good for running over skin tight socks. Once dressed, they were sent to ahover craft and once seated they had something injected into their arm. Their tracker some one said.
They were then transported to teh arena's under ground paths that would lead each tribute to their indivual chamber, or the Launch Room. They would be the only one to use this room. Once there , they were met my by his or her stylist and were each given a thin hodded jacket* that fell to their thighs.
Now they just had to wait for the call. The call to be put in the worst few moments of their life.

She chuckled a bit. Gleen would most definitely be complaining about this, or rather laughing at the attire. Or perhaps Ophelia was just trying to make herself feel better by imagining other people being disrespectful instead of herself. Regardless, Ophelia couldn't hide the anxiety she was feeling inside. In just a few minutes she could be called up and standing at the arena staring into nothing but fear.
Kayda scowls at her cloak. Red? Why Red? She giggles to herself. Of course! It would hide the amount of blood that would most defiantly be splattered on her clothes. She can't wait for the games to officially start. Her plan is to kill as many people as possible in the blood bath. She'll cut with knives, tear with her fingernails, bite, kick, punch, whatever it took to kill. Her only regret is that the arena won't start during the nighttime. If she could use her powers... she shivers in delight at the image she conjures up in her head. The bloodbath would indeed be a bloodbath
Remembering the arena from last year, Harlow is happy with her cloak's color. It'll be a huge help in camouflaging herself and Leaf. Now, she sits here in fear, not for herself, but for Leaf. What if they are on opposite ends? She swallows down a sob. She couldn't live with herself if Leaf dies in the bloodbath. This, was by far, the most stressful part of the games.
Amari was softly humming as she finished adjusting her outfit. The brown color would hopefully blend in with the terrain a little. She was afraid, but she knew she couldn't let these thoughts take over. She didn't have time to make alliances, so she could only hope others might take pity on her and spare her life.

Leaf stepped into her tube and the glass shut behind her, sealing her from her stylist, who nodded at her as if to encourage her. Then it started to rise, for about fiffteen seconds Leaf was in the dark before she was pushed up and into the arena. She struggled to see for a moment, blinking rapidly, but then she could see.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Claudius Templesmith's voice booms around the tributes through hidden speakers. "Let the One Hundredth Annual Huger Games begin!"
60 seconds to get a look at the tributes, standing equal distance from the golden horn, the Cornucopia, that was filled supplies that would keep them alive. Stepping a second before the time was up would mean death, as the landmines around the metal plates would go off.
On the outside, Julian looked prepared. He was gripping his talisman as he crouched down, eyes already spotting a trident in the inner sections of the cornucopia. In reality, he was terrified. He could only remember the bloodshed that last year had been, images coming and going at breakneck speed. Letting out a shaky breath, Julian rehearsed what he would do. Stick with the careers, grab the essentials, and once the fighting was dying down, get out. He could do this. The seastorm blue jacket tied firmly around his waist reminded him of his duty. He Had to survive.
Molly was trembling, gaze darting around with fear exuding from every part of him. The ticking of the clock did not help, his heartbeat thundering in time to the count down. He squeezed his eyes shut and stretched his senses out. Finding a bag that had a sizable about of cloth within it, Molly narrowed in on the particular pack and focused on it and nothing else. It helped to calm some nerves as his world narrowed down to just himself and the pack. He had absolutely forgotten that he was in an alliance, his instincts screaming at him to get far far far away
Harlow finally spots Leaf. Lucky for her, she isn't too far away. She doesn't really care about grabbing a bag, she just wants to protect Leaf. Her eyes never leave Leaf.
Kayda spots Nova, Leaf, and Harlow. She considers targeting them, but decides against it. That would mean chasing them down. She glances at the two NPCs that are on either side of her. Yes, they'll do she thinks to herself. One of them is a scared looking boy. She images pouncing on him and beating him down. Next, she'll run to the Cornucopia and grab a knife or sword. She'll cut down any non-career that dares get close by.
Rita glanced around. In front of her was the famous Cornucopia with tons of things spilling from it: weapons, fire starters, medicine, and more that Rita couldn't name. All around them was a flat grassland (plains) dotted with diffrent flowers and some trees here and there. Strangly though, in front of each tribute was a back pack, filled with mystery stuff. That was odd, they still had all the goodies at the horn so what gives?
Leaf had to sheild her eyes as she looked around before finally spotting Harlow not to far from her. She gave a slight wave hoping Harlow would see.
(The Arena)
Harlow smiles and waves back. She points behind Leaf, which turns out to be the jungle area. She hopes that Leaf understands that, that's where Leaf should run. They can build shelter in the trees like they had done last year.
A hopeful breeze blows past Scarlet, who was two tributes from Harlow but next to Rita. Kyu spotted Molly a few tributes away from her and waved at him, hoping he sees her so he knows where to run to.
35. 34. 33. 32. 31. 30.
"Attention tributes, attention. There is a breif annoucement." Claudius Templesmith's voice suddenly boomed from over head, making several tributes jump. What on earth was going on? An announcement? Here? Now? The timer wasn't even up yet and still going so the games haven't even started yet. "Further investigation upon Kyu's near death was proven that *female career from 1's name here* from District One attempted to kill Kyu durring the training session. This will be the only announcement. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor."
20. 19. 18.
Leaf and Harlow looked at eachother in confusion. That was really odd.
Something blue suddenly whizzed past the girl from One, who let out a scream as one of them flew right into her, knocking her off the platform and landing right on the bombs planted below her pedistal. There was a loud BOOM as she was suddenly nothing but body parts, blood, guts and innards flying upwards. Many of the tributes stared on in horror, and despite Claudius' voice saying there was a "malfuction" no one was fooled, this girl died because she attempted to cheat and the Captial wouldn't have a cheater for a victor.
(*Phantoms for all the non-Minecraft players)
The gong sounds. The second male tribute from 9 with ashen skin beelined for Leaf's backpack, only to thrown back by an electric shock as a scream breaks the concentrated silence. After a moment's hesitaion Leaf grabs her own bag with no harm done. Leaf assumed that they are to only to grab the backpacks that given specifically to them. It’s a new twist, and she was not the only one who has picked up on it. No one else dares to grab another tribute's bag, they do however make a break for extra goodies sitting in and around the Cornucopia. At least half, if not more, fled right away after grabbing their backpacks in front of them.
Rita and Rose got to it first being the smallest and fastest ones there. They stare at eachother for a moment before coming to the mental agrement to leave the other alone. They grab what they want and flee.
Kyu gripped her bag then bolted for Harlow and Leaf and Molly, Rita and Scarelet quickly on their tail.
Kayda shot a tirdent at Nova, who dodged and sent a beam of energy at her, nailing her in the chest. Kayda went down dazed at the sudden hard blow while Nova escaped with only a backpack and an axe.
When they had gotten far enough away from the blood bath Leaf quickly looked back to se several dead and at least half a dozen left fighting, several already lay dead on the ground. Harlow pulled Leaf along and the group ran farther into the plains.
Aside from the other girl from One, all the Careers surivived and started looting the dead corpses and putting them in a pile as the bloodbath wound down.
