Joining the careers in the bloodbath, Julian picked up a trident and got to work, closing his eyes to keep himself sane. The spurts of blood splashing onto his skin were impossible to escape though as each swing of the weapon made him want to throw up. Once the fighting was dying away, Julian deemed it was time to go. With his pack in hand, a second one slung over this shoulder and the trident and net in hand, Julian slipped away into the swampy area. Sliding into the water easily, he sliced through the swamp and made a beeline for the center. He didn't need to stick around to know that Kayda and the other careers would be livid at his desertion.

Gateguard immediately grabbed his own bag and screamed at the tributes closest to him, shocking them into submission as he grabbed a second pack and the nearest weapon, a staff. "Let's go!" He yelled before darting off into the mountains

Molly grabbed his pack and scampered for the one he had his eyes on. Another tribute got to it first and he froze, both of them locking eyes before the other tribute suddenly slumped forward. Behind him was Julian who whirled away already moving to the next victim. Trembling, Molly grabbed the pack and ran after Kyu, stumbling slightly and avoiding a knife to the head. He grabbed said knife and booked it

Harlow chases after Leaf. Only when Leaf is safely by her side does she turn around to make sure her alliance is safe. She relaxes when she sees Kyu and Molly running towards them. Everyone was fine. She readjusts her bag, noticing that is was quite heavy. She wonders what's in it.

Tempest's bag is extremely light. She doesn't really care though. She has a really good team, they can make due with nothing if it came down to it. She races after Gateguard, looking around for Adelaide as she runs. Slowly her form changes. She becomes a lynx. The bag somehow adjusts perfectly so it's still on her back. (Don't judge the science of this xD). This'll make her much faster and much more dangerous for physical combat. This should mean that people will leave them alone rather than risk attacking them.

Kayda had done as she planned. The second the timer hit zero she had leaped onto the boy and punched him into a pulp. He remained in his spot until she was able to get a trident and finish him off. Everything worked out perfectly when she found Nova. The moment she threw the trident, she was sure that Nova was dead. Not only did she dodge the blow, she also was able to attack Kayda. Now Kayda lays on the ground, covered in the boy's blood. Fury moving through her veins.

Rita and Scarlet managed to catch up with Molly, Kyu, Leaf and Harlow. Rita had a bow locked in her grasp and a quiver full of arrows on her back along with a light backpack. Scarlet also had a backpack that felt really light, which concerned her some.

Leaf carfully sat down on a rock trying to rest for a moment, Harlow noted Leaf looked really tired which was concerning with how close Leaf was to giving birth.

Gleen sliced and murdered with glee. "Bye bye." she crooned to one of the district 3 males, as she stabbed him. She dodged a knife thrown at her and returns the favor, killing another NPC tribute. Her gleeful laughter echoed as she murdered another NPC. Her eyes gleamed, reflecting the blood she loved to spill.

Emmie had taken off, running away from the cornucopia. As soon as she found one, she hid in a cave. She layered coal dust over her arms, so it would be harder to see her. She winced as she heard screams. She hoped and prayed that Chakti was okay. She curled up behind a rock and fell asleep.

His smile has a grip on me <3

Echo had immediately darted to the bloodbath, bending down and grabbing a sword, quickly running it through anyone who stood in his way. As he neared his way to the center, he had picked up another sword, now using both to hack away at the other tributes there. He ended up picking up a backpack that looked fairly heavy, as well as a few coils of wire.

Amari had darted away from the bloodbath at her first chance. She ran towards the jungle area, her heart racing. She had to get there before anyone else did, lest she be cut down and die.

Harlow crouches down near Leaf. "Do you want a small break?" She asks her. "We have the time, we can rest for a minute before we continue further into the jungle" she adds. She glances over at Rita and Molly. "Is that a good idea?" She asks them.

The energy wave that Nova had shot was beginning to wear off. She slowly stands up. The first thing she does is look around for Julian. A smile crosses over her ace when she realizes that he is gone. Someone new to hunt down... she thinks to herself. She slowly walks over to the Cornucopia. She had spent a lot of time with the careers, but she was still catious, what if they really didn't want to team up with her? She grabs a few knives and a sword as she makes her way over. "Let's clean all of this up!" She shouts. "Take everything and bring it to the Cornucopia where it can't be grabbed"

"Who put her in charge?" Helene had muttered into Gleen's ear. "Oh I didn't notice you." Gleen responded with a small laugh. "Nice day for it." she said, gesturing with the bloody knife in her hand to the dead bodies lying around them. "Oop, duck." Gleen said, as she chucked a knife into the throat of another NPC tribute. Helene nodded. "Let me finish him of." she pleaded, Gleen nodded with a psychotic smile. Her eyes still reflecting the blood, scanned the ground for more not quite dead tributes.

His smile has a grip on me <3

Leaf nodded, resting her head in her hands.

"It'll give us some time to see what we got to work with." Scarlet admited unslinging her bag. Scarlet pulled out a slingshot and a first aid kit. Rita rooted through her pack, the only things Rita had was a sleeping bag that reflected body heat and a first aid kit. Kyu had some coils of wire and a waterskin.

Kyu had nothing, not a single resource. "At least I can carry a lot of stuff." She joked despite the gravity of the situation.

Scarlet spotted some berry bushes that she regonised from her home district and started to pick them. "Is Leaf okay?"

Harlow swallows. "Are you okay?" She asks worriedly. What if she was close to going to labor? She roots around in her bag, finding a sleeping bag and various medicines, a water bottle, and a few granola bars. She recognizes the morphine. It's the same one that Flare had last year. She zips the bag shut and turns her attention to Leaf.

Kayda glares at Gleen and Helene. Not because of the comment, she didn't hear what they had said. She simply glares at them because they weren't moving. "Stop standing around" she demands

"God I hate running." Molly panted, heart thundering in his ears at the earlier encounter. Resting his hands on his knees, Molly doubled over coughing not used to the physical activity. "I'll give us cover." He was thankful that they had chosen the jungle to run into, his powers on full display here. It was laughably easy, finding the plant material he needed to construct a camouflage blanket. Hanging the cloth up to hide them from prying eyes, Molly sat down heavily.

Gateguard leapt easily over long distances as if he was a mountain goat, agility something he had honed over years of free running around District 10. He wasn't too concerned for his allies, Tempest could easily turn into a different animal and keep pace while Adelaide had the physical prowess to possibly even overtake him. "Let's look for a good place to set up camp." He suggested

Once he was sure he was safe, Julian dragged himself out of the water, drawing out all the water from his materials. Rummaging through his tribute bag first, he found mostly survival materials; a thick tarp, a sleeping bag, a thin spool of wire, some bags of food, and a first aid pack. It wasn't much, but it would work for now. The other bag that he had grabbed was light, almost too light. Opening the pack, he almost swore seeing that it was empty except for a single container of nightshade berries. "Are you telling me to kill myself?!" He snarled at the sky, giving it the finger.

Leaf nodded again, though not giving a verbal response. Harlow gently rubbed Leaf's back and Leaf looked up at Harlow, her face a bit pale but she seemed okay otherwise. "Should we keep moving? The careers might be hunting for us and other tributes."

Scarlet popped a few of the berries into her mouth and the taste reminded of the blackberries at home despite the berries in her hand looking nothing like them. Rita looked in the direction they'd be walking in and saw something a head, it looked like a wall of some sort. "Guys? What's that over there?"

Harlow stares at Leaf for another second before she slowly walks over to Rita. She narrows her eyes. "It's a wall of some sort" She suddenly tenses up. Hearing a curious hmm. "What kind of creature did they trap us in here with?" Harlow wonders out loud. She summons her knife hands, just in case the creature she heard turned out to be dangerous.

Tempest doesn't have much trouble keeping up. Although she did have to change her form into a mountain goat, making it easier to leap from rock to rock as they climbed the mountain. After hearing Gateguard's comment, she finds herself looking around for some water or a flat place to set up camp.

"I'll check ahead." Molly offered, weaving a cloak of leaves with a little bit of difficulty. Perhaps it was because he wasn't used to using his powers very much, but it seemed that the more he used it the sloppier he got. It didn't seem to be a problem in the moment though as he slipped through the jungle camouflaged by his cloak.

Kyu perked up at the hmm and followed Molly, beating him to the wall that she now reconised as cobblestone. This felt formilliar to her but couldn't place as to why. After Molly gave her a boost up, she poked her head over the side and looked down, only to be met by the gaze of a green eyed villager. It suddenly clicked. "I know where we're at! We're in Block World! (name changed because duh.)"

Rita looked at her. "What's that?"

"It's a creative survival game that's popular in my home district, I play it with Luna all the time! These villagers are harmless. Come on, let's go in!" Kyu slipped over the wall without warning and suddenly to cobblestone blocks were removed and replaced with an iron door and a button on each side.

"Huh? What? We're in a game world?" Molly sputtered, staring at the door in shock. Being blind for the majority of his life, he hadn't really played any games as none of them catered to the visually impaired. True the wall did feel like cobblestone, but he was still quite befuddled as to what the game was about. "T-then, were those creatures that pushed off *District One girl name* from the game too?"

Harlow shoots a confused look at Leaf. She offers Leaf a hand and together they enter the village. She spots a bunch of small huts, each have a bed. She almost collapses in relief. This was a perfect situation for them... almost too perfect. She can't help but feel suspicious of this.

Kayda watches the NPC careers move the bags. She is glad that they haven't turned on her... yet. She is going to try and sleep as soon as possible, so she can launch an attack at night. She smiles, imaging the idea of using her powers to slice and dice a few tributes. When the NPC careers finish moving the bags they gather around, all trying to think of a plan at once. A few outraged careers wants to hunt down Adelaide, Tempest, and Julian. While the rest want to hunt down Nova, Harlow, and Leaf. She patiently listens to them fight for a moment. "We'll get out chance for revenge on the traitorous careers soon, don't you worry" she tells them after a minute of arguing. "For now, we should focus on hunting down Nova, Harlow and Leaf. But we should do it at night. Rest up everyone, we are going hunting tonight" she tells them with a giggle.

The iron door opened and Kyu walked back out (~~Somebody once told me-~~) and rejoined Molly. "Yeah, those were Phantoms, they come out at night if someone doesn't sleep for three nights in a row."

Rita had ehr bow clutched in her hand as the group walked in the village, several villagers watched them when they walked by them, but then went back to their own bussiness such as trading or gossiping. The group's hut was a large one with mulitple floors that fit all of them. Each bed had it's own color that was the favorite color of one of the members of the group. Leaf and Harlow were naturally together. While there was nothing in the chest it didn't seem to be a huge deal, if there were it would be like being given a silver platter.

Leaf carfully laid on her own bed and relaxed some. The bed was comfy.

Ophelia looked around the bloodbath, a knife in 1 hand. Clean up a successful fight? she looked over to an NPC tribute with a knife in it. Blood was still spurring out. She didn't even get to stab anyone but she so very desired to. She glanced down at the NPC tribute and jabbed her knife into it. Ophelia then smiled and pulled it out. There. Now it looks like I accomplished something. The smell of almost fresh blood made her ecstatic. She wanted to fight a little more.. (let's pretend this was earlier it didn't post)

Nodding warily, Molly entered the place. It honestly seemed too good to be true. He was on edge as if something bad would happen at any moment. "Can you explain what this block game is?" He asked, eyes darting around nervously. Although Kyu had said the villagers were friendly, the nerves of being shoved into a survival game were still very much present.

There was a bit of trouble finding a good place to set up camp but soon Gateguard found a cave that seemed okay. "Tempest, Adelaide, I found a place." He yelled, stepping onto the plateau that the cave was situated on.

After shifting back to normal, Tempest pokes her head into the cave. She grins, it was perfect, at least for now. "Nice find" she tells Gateguard. "Should we find out what's in our bags now?" She asks them eagerly as she sits her own bag on the ground. She is interested in seeing what's in the bag, but she is also scared. The bag was really light, what if there was nothing in it?

Kayda glances in the Cornucopia, noticing that there were some younger careers digging through the bags that were placed in there. "What have you guys found?" Kayda asks sweetly. They flinch at her tone, they exchange a scared glance and turn towards Kayda.
"J-just a few survival items... nothing interesting" one replies
"Awesome, why don't you separate them all out into different bags. We can burn the extra bags tonight..." Kayda turns around, but doesn't leave right away. "You better not think about stealing items and leaving. If you do that... well-" she laughs. "You will be caught and promptly executed in whatever way we deem fit... and let's say that I have very poor judgment"
