Dýrleif is the spitting image of her nationality, her features delicate, yet stern; as common as they come, from Iceland, but a stunning rarity in her new setting. Dýrleif wears stunning blond hair, which seems nearly white, in a single braid that trails down her back, halting just past her ribs. While she stands at only 166 centimeters, about 5 feet and 5 inches tall, she makes up for her height with her face; stunning blue eyes rest in a softly tanned, unblemished face. A thin brow and light lips give her a sense of equality among her features, nothing standing out, but all blending to make everything stand out.

Dýrleif is incredibly emotional, behind her façade of calm composure. She lets nothing show, unless it's through her voice, when she simply states her feelings on something. Because of this, though, she's often snippy during dawn and dusk, when she hasn't enough energy to conceal herself. She becomes a little clumsy, easy to agitate, and brutally honest - the hangman's gallows, for a public face.

Some say it's coded into her blood, part of her genes. A brutal, terrifying rage behind an unreasonably calm face. It's hard to tell what might trigger it; she claims it's the will of something beyond her, something within. But sometimes, she simply stands up, paces away, and vanishes to her room. There's been several occasions where she kept herself locked away for more than a day, apologizing after each one and acting as though nobody heard the loud thuds of her fists meeting a punching bag...

Despite being a pretty face for the public and the media, Dýrleif is quite uncomfortable with the process of a single photoshoot - the little touch-ups to makeup she finds unimportant, the prodding and the endless little questions... But, back in her room, she finds herself infinitely more comfortable. It often smells of honey inside, and the decorations seem less than normal; on her wall, she has a Nordic axe on display, engraved on both the steel and the wood with intricate designs. Directly beneath it, she has a small wooden shrine, dedicated to a god who she insists is called Óðinn, despite most of American media depicting him as "Odin." On the shrine, a small candle rests, scented like honey. The reason for honey, as she claims, is that it's an ingredient for Mead, which Óðinn favored above all else.

They do tend to prioritize rationality and success over personality so they might not be the main person who likes to do white lies or small talk.

They are a reporter (secretly hired by the agency) that is meant to look beautiful in front of the camera and get the scoop of the latest news of the agency and cover any bad press. Though they are always a bit envious of how some other reporters got the attention for finding the juicy scoops so she started to find some scandals and frame others to elevate her fame

Adele is social and seemingly straitforward. Although she often has a secret adgenda, most of the time she'll be blunt and say what's on her mind. With infinite confidence and courage, you'd excpect her to be front and center stage instead of working behind the scenes as a makeup artist. She was friends with prettty much everyone --- headstrong but lovable, secretly insecure and thoughtfull if you got to know her. Adele was the emotional support and hype man for the crew, secretly aspiring to be one of them, if the position would open up. And then it did! Her dreams came true and she got thhe position she'd been hoping for so long, the eighth model! Just kidding! She somehow didn't get it. Brimming with resentment and malice, she's out to make the newest recruit's life MISERABLE in any way she can.

Robin was always renoun for her beauty and astonishing natural blue hair. She was always skinny, ironically having a "model body". She was the lead makeup artist, spending plenty of time with the main models. She lives in/near the mansion to do the crews' makeup on short notice if needed (you never know when theer are people taking pictures in public). She was close friends with the main models and constanly complimented for her looks. She was picture-perfect for the new role. Of course she applied, and everyone was sure she'd get in. And then some awful snake(no hate to the rp-er) with no history with the company showed up and stole Robin's dreams. Gone. Everything she worked hard for. Stolen. Her chance to finally be in the spotlight after waiting so long, waiting in the shade, working behind the scenes; her one desire was taken.

Hello ! Firstly, please do not feel discouraged about this massive wall of text -
I see you're fairly new to PH, and so while I'm typically able to pick through users' forum posts to see examples of their RPing abilities, I cannot with you ^^" If it's possible that you could send me a sample of your writing - via PM is fine - it would be much appreciated !
But, besides the minimal detail of your form - which I'll excuse if an acceptable writing sample can be provided - my only other issue with your form would be your character's role. Mainly the fact that I don't understand why the studio would want to sabotage their reputation by hiring a secret reporter to get dirt on their own models. I fully believe that in an industry like this, agencies are generally 100% aware of the shadier things going on behind the scenes; however, their only concern is usually getting their models seen and making money from their popularity. Hence why I don't see having a secret reporter as necessary. At least, not by Illusion Studios.
I think an easy fix could be, for example:
"Becoming a world-renowned reporter had always been the dream, for this character (Lillian). However, after being let go from several jobs in the past, due to "unsatisfactory work", Lillian seemingly found themselves at a dead end. Despite all their hard work. Why them? Confused, angry, and fueled by jealousy, they decide to take matters into their own hands. When Lillian saw that a currently popular subject of the news was about a modeling agency (Illusion Studios), they knew there was bound to be some dirt to be dug. Lillian makes it their mission to seek out the scoops themselves, willing to do whatever it took to get the recognision that they believed they deserved. From following them to their every shoot, to stalking them online, and in person as the models go about their daily lives. An obsession.
However, the deeper down the rabbit hole they go, the darker it gets. And, from there, Lillian must decide whether (or not) this web of lies they are helping to create is worth the fame."
I've kept the 'jealous reporter' aspect, the only differece would really be that you're character would be more of a independant reporter x private investigator, as you also said they like to work alone. I can see them being very nosy, creepy-ish even. They either ask a lot of questions or they watch your every move, without saying a word. They'd keep very close, yet distant at the same time, in a "you don't know me, but I know everything about you" kinda way. They're always in plain sight, yet everyone thinks they're irrelevant, which only infuriates them more as Lillian's whole thing is wanting to be recognised??

(I mean, if you decided you wanted to team up and bring down the studio together, I could also see this character working well with the (darker route) suggestion given here, and even Everglades's character.)

Much of her tasks involve basic supervision, timekeeping, and the occasional shoulder to cry on. If anyone asks why the Songbird is suddenly so prone to introversion, she merely shrugs and replies that the models are adults and should be responsible for their own devices. Those who are able to read through the lines will find her hidden in the shadows whenever possible, glad to catch a brief break from the invasive pressure of cameras, reporters, and over-enthusiastic fans.

For the sake of my sanity, I've decided to postpone the roleplay for now - aiming to release at the end of the month.
I'll continue working on it when I have free time; however, with work, projects, and life in general, it's really stressing me atm c':
Any and all roles will remain reserved for those claimed.
Sign-ups will remain open, but minor changes to the roleplay itself may be made.
I'll be sure to update as, when, and if the above happens, as well as when the roleplay thread is released for those still interested.

it's only been two months since i last posted here, aha-
however! an update!! primarily for those with a main role.
the wip lives here - feel free to take a look <3
there's a few minor changes, but the biggest is probably the position of GOSSIP taking on a more antagonistic role.
everything is still a work-in-progress, however, and is just a case of finding time between work and life to get it done c':
any suggestions can be made here or via PM!
