Ophelia paused, before bringing the glass to her lips once more.

She closed hr eyes, taking another deep breath.

Ophelia could hear her voice in the back of her mind, whispered accusations gnawing at the back of her mind.

She released a shuddering breath.

"No."

She muttered to herself, shaking her head, clearing her mind of the haze, burying her voice.

She downed the rest of the glass, drowning her sorrows.

Oh, how she wanted the darkness to swallow her whole.

She took a deep breath, in and out, closing her eyes, shut tight.

God's, Ophelia hated parties. But it's not like she had anything else to do.

She took another shaking breath, gaze flickering over the room. She flexed her fingers, and a glass of wine flickered into existence between her index and middle fingers.

her hand raised to her face, a blue butterfly msk placed upon it, hiding her features, except her sharp-fanged mouth and her gleaming red eyes.

She fixed her dark-blue hair, tightening the high ponytail she always wore.

She sighed.

She murmured to herself, as she slipped inside, wordlessly, soundlessly, into the room.

Her blood-red eyes stared up at the sky, quietly.

“…Something doesn’t feel right-“

Something in the air crackled. It felt like the air were crunchy, somehow.

Then… there was a cracking sound, as a rift of sorts opened in the sky, and out popped a… creature. It was a furry little ball thing of sorts? It was about 3 feet tall and shaped like an oval welcome mat, and had red eyes, tiny little stub horns, and very, very sharp teeth.

Ophelia’s eyes slowly opened, and she was laying on her side on a train’s seats. The train slowly moved along.

It seemed she was among the first to wake up. The train was filled, but not packed.

She glanced aroud frantically. Then, her eyes landed on Huixin, not too far from her.
