"The Patronus is a form of advanced magic which even the most qualified wizards can struggle with. Harry Potter was one of the youngest wizards to cast a corporeal Patronus, having been taught by Professor Lupin at the tender age of 13." Professor Brindlemore, the current Defence Against the Dark Arts professor told to him, when he approached her about arranging for students from every year to have lessons on the Patronus charm. This did not help his hopes, but couldn't give up. Not without trying. What if he got all of the names from elder students already, from the list of patronus' with the school? Surely, when the professor in higher years teach the charm, like it was taught to him, note down the patronus of each student! So, he searched about the lists, and found a few matches. Of course there was him, and Jules. But except them, there were very sketchy matches. For one, multiple people had their patronus as a snake. That could make stuff difficult... And as for the rest, there were no clear matches. At least, not recorded. Many students had failed to procure a corporeal patronus.
So well, nothing could be done, but to arrange for special classes for the younger students, and anyone with no patronus recorded. But as he feared and the professor confirmed, they could not expect anyone from year 1 or 2 to be able to cast a patronus, hence it would be a waste of time to even try.
With schedules made, and everything sorted, with multiple lessons in a single day, taken over by multiple professors, and not just the DADA professor, Suvansh drifted towards the Hufflepuff Common Room. Actually, according to Suvansh's calculations, with the present schedule, they could take up to months to find all the students. And God knows what to do about multiple people having the same patronus. He wanted Professor Mcgonagall to call for extra help in the form of Aurors, from the Ministry of Magic, especially Harry Potter, who he had met a few times already, who frequently visits Hogwarts as a guest lecturer for their DADA classes. But she refused so, not wanting the Ministry to interfere for some reason. It wasn't like she did not trust the Ministry, the Minister of Magic was literally the Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter being the head of the aurors. Something in her voice suggested that she did not want to alert them unnecessarily. As if student safety was a joke...
As he reached the common room, he noticed a familiar face, in the form of Cass, a fellow 7th year Hufflepuff, who he had noticed to be missing in the past days here at Hogwarts. "'Ello! Missed the train, didcha!?" He says, giving her a warm, welcoming smile.
[Everyone please make a post about how your character discovers their patronus, if they do so yet. You can use a classroom setup where one of the Professors, maybe DADA, maybe Charms, or Transfiguration, or literally any of them are holding a special class in a random classroom, explaining to them about patronuses, or they could discover it themselves and inform a professor or not whatever lol smth such. If they already know their patronus, and if it's in the school records too, please mention so in a post!]

Naturally, Jules also kept Suvansh updated on his end of the investigation. It was interesting to see the results their different methods yielded and made note of the many many students who overlapped in bother their investigations. But this method was simply taking much too long and was ultimately unreliable at best. Professor Flitwick seemed to agree when Jules brought it up and so they instead set their sights on something else, something that both of them specialized in. Charms
Now, making a new charm was difficult. Sure simple charms such as the one the dearly beloved Weasley twins crafted were easy enough to create. But if one were to theoretically charm an object to track down wizards with a certain patronus, that required a lot more creativity and elbow grease. Between both of their busy schedules, duties, and the difficulty of such a task, creating the charm was... slow going to say the least. It was clear that such duties were taking its toll on Jules, the number of times he had dozed off during Arithmancy and Astrology alone exceeding the amount of times he had fallen asleep in class ever, period. The Head Boy clearly was exhausted yet his smile never dimmed nor did his words take on any edge. They were getting closer though. But closer didn't mean that they were there just yet and until they had reached the finish line, Jules continued to labour over the logistics of charm making, willing the origami frog to follow whichever student had a bear patronus

She remembered the moment she was allowed to take care of magical creatures, specifically her Kneazle. For years her parents had kept her away from magical creatures, not being allowed to touch them. But after her first year at Hogwarts, she was allowed to. Focusing on this memory, Sterling shouted the incantation at the almost empty courtyard, watching her Patronus form into a bird she was familiar seeing: an eagle.
"Are you my patronus?" She asked, watching it fly around and land on her hand. "You look a bit like my Animagus form, just a bit- Eagle than owl." Some students who watched her summon her Patronus started whispering, and some even reported it to teachers: a girl in Hufflepuff had an Eagle as her Patronus. Pretty soon it had spread across the school.

Again, an embarrassed flush appears on Cass's face, but she couldn't help but grin in amusement at his words. "I can't believe I missed the train!" Cass groans. "Especially on my final year!" She shakes her head, her smile never leaving her face. "Well, it's not that big of a deal right? I can catch up on my missed assignments. I didn't miss anything too important right?" She couldn't help but say the last part jokingly.

Emily goes to the Room of Requirement, and practices her patronus casting. A beautiful dragon. Thankfully, no one knew about it yet. She hope no one would come in— no, she made sure no one could come in

The shimmering eagle nodded, and Sterling smiled, starting to sprint out of the room, arms out and laughing. The eagle patronus flew alongside her
