Blossom stormed over to Benton putting herself between Benton and the reunited couple. "Enough Benton." Blossom's voice was firm.

"Maddy may be a traitor, but at least she has a biger heart then you, you grinch." Emi snapped putting her weight on her good leg. "I hope you get kicked from the team of concils, if anyone deserves it, it's Maddy."

*Benton looked at Blossom* Blossom, do you and your daughter have tongues? *Blossom was perplexed by Benton's question* Because I suggest you watch them.

*Maddy stepped forward* Hey, why dont you buzz off you old- *Benton placed his cane on Maddy's chest* Not an inch closer, you woman loving traitor. I'm afraid that until the Telmarian Council decides whether to let you into our society or not, you are to leave this city at once.

"Dont be a meanie you butt head." Emi yelled as she removed the cane from Maddy's chest, Benton in response shoved Emi down, who landed on her injured leg making her cry out.

Blossom's face darkened and without warning smacked Benton hard across the face. "Don't. Touch. My. Daughter." Though normally calm, she was now seething as she pulled her daughter up. "You're not welcome on my property (which they were technically on btw). Leave now, before things get ugly."

*Tani stepped forward* If she goes, I go Benton. And if I leave the, council cant make a dec- *Tani was interrupted by Maddy who put her arm across Tani's chest* Its ok, Tani. I'll go. *Maddy looked at Benton* I dont know who you are, or what you have against me, but dont take it out on the people I love. *Benton stood there watching Maddy as Maddy got on her horse and rode out of town*

Emi tryied to follow Maddy but her injured leg slowed her down so she gave up and started crying.

Blossom watched Maddy ride off then turned her attetnion to her daughter. After Emi was wrapped in her arms she turned back to Benton. "I hope you're real proud of yourself. If we're really in as much trouble as Sage says we are with the Cloaks returning, then we need all the help we can get." Emi was sobbing into Blossom, who rubbed her back. "How about you do something productive rather then standing around with a chip on your shoulder and being on your high horse? Like, I dont know, make sure that our villigers are safe."

*Benton leaned on his cane slightly* You are welcome to join her if you would like, Miss Blossom. Although, I wouldnt be able to guarantee you would be allowed to return since you would be committing an act of treason.

*Tani fell to the ground when Maddy left. She felt, defeated. Defeated that the one she loved was leaving her again. Defeated that she allowed Benton to bully her like he does.*

Irin had long since left the area near the town hall, and he was now poking around the alleyways by the tavern and other popular buildings. A strange man has offered him something, and he was looking to accept now. He had seen all he needed to, and his intents were now the same as the man's. He sighed, but finding the man yet, and say down, closing his eyes and waiting. He was either going to get mugged or find the man here, but he was fine with either. He twitched, his arms stretching and going through a few motions. "It's been too long since I've had a fight," he muttered.

"Maybe YOU should leave and never come back, Benton. That way you can commit treason and never have to come back." Blossom glared at him then turned to Tani and tryied to console her. "It's okay, we'll figure this out. Do you want to come in for a bit?"

Barry sighs as he walks around the kingdom. He didn’t really know what was going on but he was too much like himself to ask anybody about it. He lived alone, and someone would probably had noticed by this time but nobody talked to him. He walks past some of the guards, but ignores them.

Luke is running around, and gets back to the kingdom. “What happened?! I don’t know and I need to help in some way.” he said aloud.

Blossom stared daggers at Benton as he left then helped Tani up as the three went into the house. Emi looked back where Maddy had ridden off for a moment before Blossom gently ushered her daughter back in. "What happens now Tani? With the cloaks coming back." Blossom gently helped Emi in a chair and offered Tani a seat. Emi put her large basket of blackcaps on the table and Blossom with a small smile started to wash them.

"Would you like some blackcaps? I picked them today." Emi asked looking at Tani.

Gwen finally returns. She has yet to notice Dylan, she is too busy searching for her three soldiers that she doesn't notice him standing near her. Her three soldiers all perk up when they see her. "Did you find anything?" One of them asks eagerly.
"No" Gwen responds with a disappointed look. "There defiantly was something there, but they smartly took off before they could be caught" she sighs and shakes her head. "You three can head back to the barracks. We'll need to train even harder now"

*Tani shook her head.* No, I'm good. I just-*Tani sighed* I just- *Tani couldn't finish her sentence. Memories began to flood back to her. She remembered when she first met Maddy. Tani had been abused almost all of her life, but when Tani was with Maddy, she just felt like nothing could hurt her. Could hurt them even. Tani finally found the words she was looking for* Maddy always made me feel invincible, even when I was Francis's- *Tani was hesitant to finish that sentence.* Even when he would- *Tani began to have flashbacks of when she was Francis's slave* He would- *Tani began to cry and was embraced by Blossom who tried to comfort her* I was just so scared that whatever I would do would end with him abusing me in any way he could. But when I met Maddy, and whenever I was with her, I felt safe. Like nothing would ever harm me ever again. But now? Now I'm not sure

*Dylan saw Gwen and slowly began to sneak up behind her. When he reached her, he covered her eyes* Guess wh- *Gwen grabbed Dylan and flipped him over her back onto the ground*

Gwen's fierce face quickly softens when she realizes that her "attacker" was none other than Dylan himself. "Dylan!?" Gwen asks. She reaches her hand out to Dylan to help him stand up. "I'm so sorry. Is that really you?" She asks. "You look so-" she pauses, a bunch of filler words pop into her head. "Older" she finishes, deciding that, that was the safest thing to say.

Blossom gently hugged Tani and let her cry, listening without interupting to let her get off her chest whatever she needed. When she finally finished she spoke. "You can stay with us as long as you need, and dont worry about Benton, we'll take care of him."

Plus, *Dylan pointed to his injured eye* scarred eyes and a beard tend to make one look 10 years older. *Dylan looked at Gwen. She didn't look like she had aged a day* You wanna go somewhere more *Dylan looked around and leaned in closer to Gwen to whisper in her ear* private?

*Tani sniffled and looked at Blossom* Thank you, I really appreciate you being there for me

Blossom patted Tani on the shoulder. "Any time, that's what friends are for right? Now sit down at the table so we can enjoy some blackcaps, if you want some of course." Emi swung her good leg under the table as she watched Tani sit down next to her while Blossom finished cleaning off the caps.

A furious blush crosses over Gwen's face. She tries to hide her flustered reaction with a laugh, which starts out sounding nervous but quickly turns natural. "It's been five years since you've seen me and that's the first thing you ask me?" Gwen asks with an amused smile.

Gwen nods, not trusting herself to say anything else. She knows she should go back to the barracks and prepare her soldiers, but right now she is much more interested in talking to Dylan. She leads the way to her house, which has a small porch and a few chairs sitting on it. "How has it been out there?" Gwen asks Dylan as they walk. "You must've covered a lot of ground in five years, did you find anything?" She asks.
