*Dylan nodded his head* It was interesting out there. Our world, its bigger than you could ever imagine, i even made a map. But, after a while, it got lonely. You see, not long after the Western Rangers left- oh, by the way, that's what we called ourselves but anyways, not long after we left, we ran into some Cloaks. And by some, I mean alot. Like a small fortress full of them. *Dylan pointed to his eye* One of them did this to me, you know. And in addition to blinding me in my eye, they killed most of us. And as time went on, more of us died off until I was the-*Dylan paused upon realizing what he was about to say* the last one left.

A horrified look crosses over Gwen's face. Both at the realization that Dylan almost died and the realization that many had died. "So the others-... They're-?" A hurt look crosses over her face as she solemnly shakes her head. "Why didn't you guys come back?" Gwen asks. "You should've come back at the first sign of danger!" She scolds. She pauses for a moment before asking. "And the fortress? Does that mean there is still a huge army out there? Where is it?"

*Dylan shrugged* Well, Gwen, we couldn't. We had a duty to eliminate the last of the Cloaks and find Maddy and we intended on finishing it. However, once the others died, I just started trying to follow the Cloaks to their homeland if they even have one. So, I dont know if there is a large army out there, or how widespread they are if they do have a large army. But one thing I do know, is that the group I was following was on the move for something. And judging by the size of the group I was following, its something big. *Dylan looked at a house in front of them.* Speaking of big, is this place yours?

Gwen nods, although she doesn't seem too prideful in the fact that she had a pretty sizable house. "Yeah. It is. As you know, I now have control over the army, which automatically appoints me as a council member" she shrugs. "I guess there was an unspoken agreement that I should have a giant house because of all of those titles" she shakes her head. "I would prefer something smaller, but I can't complain" her eyes are slightly cloudy, a tell-tale sign that she was lost in thought. She couldn't wrap her head around what Dylan was saying. If the Cloaks were trying to return to some place, then they had to have a large army somewhere else. Did that mean the former Cloaks from the rich kingdom were really spies? If her memory serves to be correct, there wasn't a lot of Cloaks that escaped; there certainly wasn't enough to be even considered a large army. A concerned look crosses over her face, for their sake, this theory better not be true.

*Dylan looked at her with a smirk. She was slightly blushing and had a hair out of place. He brushed it out of her face and looked at her* Would you mind show me? Or would that bore you to death?

She laughs. "It would be far better than worrying about the state of our kingdom. Come on in" she tells him as she walks inside. The house was nearly as fancy as her old house, but it was still much larger than the average civilian's house. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, an office which could also serve as a mini library and a small sitting room.

Luke is wandering around and sees the group talking through Gwen’s window. He walks over, then knocks on the door, hoping someone would answer and hopefully explain. He waits for a little bit then decides he will come back later.

Barry sees the group through the window and hides behind a nearby barrel. He eves-drops from behind it and starts listening to the conversation. He saw Luke leave and he decides to stay, but doesn’t listen in.

*It was nighttime now. Dylan rolled around in Gwen's bed to look at her* Well that was- *Dylan looked at Gwen for a moment* I don't know how to explain it. That was beyond words. *Gwen chuckled*

*Maddy heard a wolf cry out from behind her tent, somewhere. She began to have a flashback to some time 6 years prior. In the flashback, Maddy saw Tani sitting on top of Francis's home. Tani was shaking and crying. Maddy put her hands on Tani's shoulders and she flinched* Please, Master, dont hurt me. I just needed some air *Tani looked up at Maddy. Her eyes were red and bloodshot and her left eye was badly bruised and swollen. She tried to smile upon seeing Maddy* Oh, it's you *Maddy sat next to Tani and Tani sat there awkwardly, trying to cover her bruised face. Maddy put her hand on Tani's to stop her and Maddy put her other hand on Tani's face to angle her face into the moon light. The light lit up her face more and Maddy could see how bad the bruise really was and the defeat in her eyes.* You dont have to let him do this to you, Tani. You can just say no *Tani jerked her face away and sarcastically chuckled* There's nothing I can do, he has all power over us. Especially me. He calls me his play thing.

*Maddy looked around and heard a wolf cry. She then came up with something* You know, my father once said that every time a wolf cries, it just means they are trying to let you know they are out there *Tani looked at her and spoke in a slightly stern voice* What does that have to do with anything? *Maddy looked at Tani* A better life is like that wolf. It will always be out there, but occasionally it will call to you to let you know it's still out there *Tani looked around and thought for a moment. Maddy inched her face slightly closer to Tani's but stopped herself and stood up to walk away. Then Tani looked at Maddy* What did you say your name was? *Maddy stopped walking and turned around. She couldn't remember so she just said a random one* Maddy. My names Maddy *The flashback ended and Maddy heard another wolf cry. And it comforted her*

"I agree" Gwen responds softly. She rests her head on his chest, and shuts her eyes. "...I missed you, you know. I know it might not have seemed that way, but I did" she glances up at him, trying to peg his reaction

Everything seemed to be calming down... So was it safe to go back out? Honey looked around, making sure nothing was broken or anything before she slowly walked out of the door

What in the world... Why did he always end up in these situations? He continued walking through the woods until he noticed a tent. Curious, he went closer and tried to see if anyone was in it.

A shocked look crosses over Gwen's face, but it disappears quickly, she brushes a strand of hair out of her face and smiles at Dylan, she opens her mouth to reply when she suddenly hears a knock on her door. Gwen instinctively raises the covers up to her neck just as Luke walks into the room. Her face turns red when she realizes they had just been caught. "Uh, what are you doing here?" Gwen asks quickly.

Luke feels a bit weird. “Umm, I was just here to ask some questions about what was happening.” he said. He blushed a little bit as he had just walked in on something he probably wasn’t supposed to see. “I’ll just, uh, wait outside for a bit.” he then said and walked out. That was... weird. And unseeable.

Barry, who watches through the windows, just puked a little bit on the other side of the barrel. That was awkward and disgusting.

"Ugh" Gwen places a hand against her forehead. "That was... um- expected" her eyes wide and she quickly glances up at Dylan. "The kid walking in...not what you just said" Gwen clarifies. "Listen... About what you said-" Gwen says as she moves off the bed to put on something more presentable. "I.." she pauses and bites her lip as she turns around to face him. "Ever since you left, it's become quite clear that I'm in love with you too." Man.. I have such a way with words.. Gwen thinks to herself irritatedly.

*Maddy heard footsteps outside of her tent and slowly grabbed her sword. She jumped out of the tent and drew her sword but upon seeing (Shadow?) she put her sword away* Hello there.

*Dylan watched as Luke closed the door. He looked at Gwen once she said she loved him too. He stood up and kissed her on the lips. They parted from eachother and looked in one another's eyes* That is probably the best thing anyone has ever said to me, Gwen. *Dylan began to get dressed too and once they both finished, Dylan and Gwen walked outside the room to see Luke* Hey Luke, umm... what you saw in there was just umm... *Dylan looked around.* Tell him Gwen, what were we doing

“Hmm... I thought you would’ve put up more of a fight...” he muttered before stopping in front of her and relaxing. Zinx looked back at the tent, then at Maddy. So she stayed in the forest instead of Telmar...

Honey cautiously roamed the streets, deciding that maybe she should go ahead and pick up some food from the shops. She bought a few fruits, bread, and many more things that she would need.

Gwen is busy brushing her fingers through her hair, looking unbothered by what Luke had seen earlier. "It was just a game, nothing of your concern" Gwen replies smoothly. She shoots Dylan a sly look as she says this, which goes unnoticed to Luke, since her hair is blocking his view of her facial expressions. "Now" she tells Luke, turning her attention back to him. "There is simply a small issue outside of the kingdom, it's nothing for you to worry about" she tells Luke. He is still too young to become a solider if he so desired, so Gwen saw no reason in scaring him with the truth. "That being said, small issues can turn into a big problem if you aren't careful. So we'll have to prepared for something big... Just in case" she adds

“So nothing bad is going on.” he said, then heaved a big sigh of relief. If there was another big thing like Talla or maybe another war with the rich and poor, that would be disaster, especially for him and his friends, because enemies might remember that they all helped to stop the war.

Barry, who is next to the barrel by Gwen and Dylan, also sighs a noticeable sigh. He doesn’t consider the fact that someone nearby could hear him.

Gwen looks disappointed that Dylan had to leave, she doesn't bother hiding it at all. "Yeah, you should probably get some work done" Gwen tells Dylan as he leaves. There'll be a lot of reporting he'll have to do with his return on top of whatever else he has to do. She turns back to Luke and smiles. "Yes, we are safe right now" she assures him. Which isn't exactly a lie
