Supernatueral HG 2
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Supernatueral HG 2It's the day of the reaping, everyone's either sleeping or preparing for the reapingalged doomsday.
District 3
Kyu was sleeping as the light slowly started to enter her window pane.
District 5
Rita was sitting up and watching as the day came and felt powerless to stop it. It was her first reaping and she was nervous.
District 7
Leaf was curled in and around lover Harlow, her big baby belly posing as a minor nussice but managable.
Harlow wraps her arms comfortably around Leaf and softly kisses her forehead. For a moment, she considers waking up Leaf, but then thinks better of it. Leaf needed her rest and the more she slept, the less time she had to worry about this year's Reaping. Downstairs, she can hear cooking. It was most likely Gran preparing breakfast. Harlow smiles to herself, she is happy that Gran was this accepting of her relationship. She treats Leaf well, as if she were her own daughter.
Kayda is still asleep in her house. Her foster parents allow her to rest, she'll need it.
(My apologies for any kinds of typos. This was a lot to type for my tired self xD)
Avenir grunted in return, taking the plates. "Here's to another year of staying safe." His brother sighed sarcastically before shoving the food down and dropping the empty plate by the deck. "I'll tell your boyfriend that you're up." Avenir called before leaving. Laughing, Gateguard poked his head into the shared tent finding Shion cuddling his three siblings. A beautiful sight if not for the fact that the four had to wake up and work.
"Wake up, sleepy heads!" Gateguard yelled, picking his siblings up suddenly. Jostling them all awake, his laughter was meet with excited squeals and frightened screaming as Gateguard heaved everyone outside, arms shaking with the effort.
Chrysomallys sighed happily, arms wrapped around the soft fur of his pet dog. The warm rays of sunshine faced across his face and warmed his back, leaving the young boy incapable of doing anything but melting into the comfort. A wet tounge slobbered over his face and Chrysomallys groaned trying to push his companion off the bed laughter ringing in his throat. A knock on the door had the boy and his dog freezing as his guardian's silence pierced through the wood separating them. "Up and at them, boy." His guardian barked, the stomping of feet fading away from the door. Sighing, Molly stop up and began to change, putting on the best clothes he had before his companion guided him out of the house
Kyu continued to doze until Kyu's twin, Luna, shook her awake. "We need to go, today's the reaping."
Leaf stired a bit in Harlow's arms a bit, but didn't wake up. When Harlow rubbed Leaf's inflated belly a bit she felt a kick from inside, Leaf grimanced in her sleep but didn't wake up.
Agent Fallows, signing out~
Swift, dexterous fingers looped her hair in a braid as Aelia's pale scarlet eyes examined her reflection in the mirror. The sunlight outside illuminated her neat and expensive looking room. Having lived most of her life alone, Aelia operated on a very similar clock to the rest of the Careers in 2. Besides training extensively for the games - psychologically, physically, and emotionally - Aelia was a trainer herself. And nobody looking at her would honestly suspect it. Aelia was a lithe, slender Career with shoulder-length white hair and pure scarlet eyes. Her skin was quite pale; it didn't take a genius to figure out that Aelia was, in fact, an albino. Her age and youth reflected in her face, and most actually looking at her took a double-take that made her roll her eyes. Gods, she knew she looked innocent and soft and pretty, and the mere thought of it disgusted her beyond words.
There was no weapon - except perhaps her charm - that she had not mastered. Her scarlet eyes caught a glance of herself in the mirror and Aelia sighed. She understood that she looked tired and worn. What semblance of kindness or 'being soft' were gone, leaving in their wake a ferocious, lethal, killer. A conqueror who would stop at nothing to achieve her goal. A loose white blouse was the last (and the most) extravagant piece of her ensemble. Aelia's pristine heels echoed around the cool marble staircase as she saw herself downstairs. Her whole household, covered in wealth, though maybe not to the degree of a District One household. Aelia regarded it with scorn. She almost never wore jewels or any indication of her district's opulence as she loathed ostentation above her station.
The streets of Two were rather empty; which was understandable as it was still rather early. Despite the Reaping being such a grandiose affair, it wasn't necessarily met with the usual vehemence. The games were much more well-received.

Concern crosses over Harlow's face. She almost wakes up Leaf to ask if she is okay, fortunately for Leaf, she doesn't. She glances up to see Gran standing by the door, she intakes a startled breath. Gran silently walks into the room and starts grabbing dresses for them to wear. "I can do that, you don't need to do that for us" Harlow whispers. Gran holds a finger to her lips, indicating for Harlow to be quiet.
"Last year you ran off, so I couldn't help you prepare. I didn't even get to see you after you were chosen! I didn't get to see my granddaughter one last time before she was sent to death-" she voice breaks at the memory, tears fill her eyes. "You won't get away with that this time around" she whispers sternly. "Now- the Reaping is gonna start soon. Wake up Leaf so you can have some breakfast"
Kayda is woken up by her foster parents. She isn't too close with them. They aren't cruel to her, but she rarely gets to see them with all the work she does. Even after all of these years, she still feels awkward calling them "mom" and "dad." So she usually said nothing at all. After a quick breakfast, she changes into a dress at random. She doesn't have many dresses to wear. It's not necessary because she can't afford them, she just feels much more comfortable in what she calls: "regular clothing". There is another awkward moment when she is saying goodbye to her foster parents. But then a heart filled moment when she is saying goodbye to her older (foster) sister. Her sister refuses to let Kayda walk to the Reaping by herself. Together, the two walk to the Reaping. They chat along the way, talking about everything but the Reaping and the Games.
The city was painfully loud as Chrysomallys weaved around the throngs of bodies aided by his canine companion. The weather was nice he supposed, his keen senses picking up on the bustling town around him. He was shaken out of his thoughts rather harshly as a small object whacked him in the arm, a few other things hitting him followed by a smattering of snickers. Rubbing his arm ruefully, Molly ignored the people who looked down on him and continued to hold his head high, walking to the reaping.
Kyu and Luna both headed down stairs, Ky wearing a pink tankop dress with black flats while her sister wore a blue dress with white flats, both girls had their hair up in buns.
Leaf turned from her left side to her back, one arm across her chest and the other at her side, she was fighting to stay asleep but her eye movements uner her eyelid indicated she would be up soon.
"About time you two wake up!" Gran shouts lightheartedly.
(Should we just speed this part up so they can go to the Reaping?)
Leaf smiled and carefully sat down, and ate the wonderful meal infront of her.
(Is everyone good with a timeskip?)
