"She's dead! She's gone!" Rose shrieked. "I want to join her!" she looked distraught and heartbroken. "I survived and she didn't! I live alone. No family, no friends, no neighbors, no kin." the wild look in her eyes replaced with one of sadness. "The arena doesn't build. It destroys."

As the stlyist finsihed the bars were deavictated and a squad of four Peacekeepers marched around a tribute. Leaf craned her neck trying to see around them. They were ushred onto a stage where President Snow, now wearing all white, himself was seated in a chair behind the large Capital's seal. The tributes were told to stand on either side of the chair and to look straight into the camera in front of them. No smiling, no talking, and most importanly no reisting of any kind, if they did, their punishment would be much worse then what they'd already be facing.

A camera man from behind was counting down from ten as the Peacekeepers with guns were standing in front of the tributes but off to the side so they weren't blocking the view.

From District 13 everyone was up and wearing the drab gray uniforoms of 13. Anyone older then 14 was atoumaticly given the title "Soilder" and would be adressed by "Soilder *name here*" and were being trained.

Harlow watched the large tv, as many others did, as it suddenly flickered on with the Capital seal before showing the peacekeepers and president with the taken tributes on either side of him. The presdient then started to speak, and Harlow had to gasp when she saw Leaf standing and looking beuatiful and healthy, almost to the point of robust, this was beyond her wildest expectaions and dreams, she drank in the sight.

The calm lasted for a few moments as suddenly the image on the screen changed to one of the brains of 13, a man Harlow didn't regconise. It was back and forth for awhile before finally sticking the man from 13 as he stated that "The Mockingjay was alive." At that moment the doors behind them opened and Nova walked into the room wearing a black and white jumpsuit that closely resembled the mockingjays at repeated songs back to people.

(*Basicly this is now going on.)

Adelaide joined the rest of the tributes on time, her usual hawk-like mask covering up most of the bruises that she'd received from the fallen tree. Since the mask only covered up her left side, her right eye had been treated to thick kohl and eyeshadow the color of the sky. Her dress was form-fitting so as to show off her powerful build. She slid up on Tempest's left side, features and emotions unrecognizable. Her throat tightened as she joined the rest of the tributes next to Snow and faced the Camera. Oh how she hated vanity of any kind. Not smiling was easy; her one scarlet eye blazed with icy defiance beneath her thick ebony lashes.

Emmie stood where she was supposed to be. She didn't move, didn't dare to. She held her breath and waited. "Oh Chakti." she thought. "Where are you?" she asked herself that question a million times, desperate for news of her friend.

Echo frowned, moving to grab her arms again. "Maybe she died early, but she probably doesn't want you to join her. She likely doesn't want you to die young either, so stop being selfish!"

Amari tried to hide the growing frown on her face as she looked at Snow. This was terrifying. She couldn't stand the constant fear she was feeling.

"That's rich. Coming from a career." she snarled. Rose looked furious. "Especially one from two." she spat the last word at him like venom. "You take pride in murdering children." she said, curling her upper lip in disgust. "You're a fine one to talk about being selfish."

Echo wasn't really able to think of a good response, instead mumbling. "Adelaide's the one who enjoyed killing kids more." He frowned, he wasn't aware that Rose was such a high maintenance job. This was ridiculous, what he had to do just to get her happy.

"More? MORE?" she looks enraged. "You like watching it more, you like the carnage. the pain, the torture." Rose continues her verbal assault, taking a step closer. "You like tearing apart families. You like ruining lives." she spat. "Murderer." the hiss escapes her lips, a nurse nearby flinches. "And you, you are here, lecturing ME on selfishness?" she snarls at him. "I haven't met a more selfish person. You disgust me."

"Well at least I'm not over here trying to kill myself!" Echo retaliated, standing up. "At least I'm not taking the Howard's way out!" He growled, clenching his fists. He was livid at the things she was saying, but he was even angrier he couldn't come up with a better counterpoint.

Tempest raises her chin up. "F*ck you!" She screams out at Snow. "Do you think I am worried about whatever consequences I may face!?" She laughs coldly. "I have nothing to lose expect my own life" she doesn't care that she is making a scene in front of the cameras, in fact, knowing that she has an audience only encourages her. she turns to the cameras, a smile on her face. "You guys are gonna love this" she whispers. She kisses her fingers then holds up the ever so famous three finger salute. She stares at the Peacekeeper who has his gun trained on her, she isn't afraid of death.

"At least I'm doing it for a reason." she said coldly. "You kill to please." Rose hisses. "I kill out of sympathy." she snarls at him. "I knew. From the moment I saw you, that you were as disgusting and murderous as any. But I hoped you'd be better." she says, looking angry again.


Emmie marvels at Tempest. Slowly, she raises her own hand, copying the salute. She glares at the president, undisguised malice in her eyes.

Chakti had torn the sheets off of his bed, then torn them up and thrown them on the floor. He was in a rage, still fully believing Leaf was dead and that he'd failed to honor her. He broke tables, bed frames, lamps, anything he could ruin. The bed he had laid on was annihilated, one leg completely broken off, the surface of the mattress all lumpy due to the frame being as broken as it was.

The President just smiled small and closed his eyes and gave the slightest nod. The camera feed had been cut before Tempest's sudden outburst. One of the Peacekeeprs suddenly turned to Tempest and smacked her with the butt of his gun before some of them suddenly went to work on her, beating her senseless until she was reduced to a bloody pulp and dragged out of room. Leaf gasped out and put a hand over her mouth to keep from screaming, Azar jumped back in shock.

Snow just smiled a little bit more. "Don't worry," his voice was calm and collected as though talking about the weather. "You'll each be given your dues in good time."

(And I think that's it. I'll send a link to the next part in our chat. At this point I'd like to remind you that if you would like to change characters (NPC becomes a playable character, for example, Azar was an NPC-----> now she'll be playable.) Hopefully that makes sense.)

From the moment that Tempest opened her mouth, Adelaide immediately clamped a tight hand into Tempest's left arm, nails digging in to caution her to shut her mouth. Not that it did much good. Tempest was really too hotheaded. Adelaide actually had to be restrained while Tempest received her due. Since most of the peacekeepers came from her district, she was very familiar with the brutality. Trembling with rage, she yanked herself free from the peacekeeper restraining her.
