Alex, Luna, and Crystal were all sitting in a small area.

To the far left there was a large ring like structure where people were fighting, as in punching and kicking and using their powers agsint the other. It was soo bizzare for Alex as seh watched a small scrawny girl beat a guy that was much more physicaly cabable of beating her.

Scarlet stares at the ring, her body tense. Wasn't this illegal? Her summer group already had a high risk of getting in trouble for fighting, and everyone consented into fighting each other. Surly something like this had to be against the law. She stands up, looking around for a teacher. "What is the meaning of this?" Scarlet asks out loud. "This shouldn't be allowed!"

Aria glanced at the ring. If given a choice, she would never fight there. Her powers weren’t of much use in an arena unless she had a good idea of what her opponent would do, which is like never. She was awful at physical activities too. No helpful powers and no physical abilities spelled disaster.

Luke gets to detention and sighs. He has already finished his homework and goes to the teacher, getting his mark off and heads towards a desk across from Sam and Aria. He pulls out a book and he starts to read, not looking up at anyone and ignoring the whole place so he doesn’t get pulled into the ring to fight.

The teacher looked at Scarlet and sighed. "I don't make the rules, and unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it." She admitted ruefully.

A stern looking teacher grinned at Scarlet seeing her questioning this more-then-likely-illegal activity. "Maybe it is, maybe it isn't." She said rudly to Scarlet. "But it keeps the trouble makers in their place. Perhaps you'd like to join them, Miss Scarlet." There was something in the teacher's tone that made people second guess their actions and thoughts. She didn't seem like the one anyone would like to mess with.

Saburo slouched over as he stuck out his hand for the teacher. He glared ruefully at the ring and scowled. He wouldn't be getting into that anytime soon. The best that would happen is that he would bet a n information overload and pass out. Worst would be nothing would change and he would get beaten black and blue.

Scarlet glares at the teacher, refusing to be visibly immitated. "No thank you" she responds coldly, although she has a feeling that she won't really have a choice. She slowly sits back down in her spot.

Seemingly satisfied, this hard a** of a teacher went back to monitoring the ring as others either did something else to occupy them or went to the ring to watch.

Alex didn't seem to keen on the ring either, but she was too busy to really pay any notice as her mind was focused more on Charile.

Sam gulps, as he doesn't want to
be forced to use his powers OR take off
his hood. he actually was surprised that
the detention teacher hadn't made him take
off the hood yet. Sam readies his sword, making
sure it is in prime condition for fighting (if he
needs to fight someone). he keeps absolutely
silent, still sharpening his sword. the scrape of
his sword being sharpened against a whetstone
gives off an ominous sound.

Luke flinches at the sound, then moves over to where Alex was to try and get away from it and he sits down with his case next to him as he begins to read from where he left off on chapter 5 of 20. He sighs and smiles as he reads.

Seeing Luke, Saburo grinned and bounced over slamming his hands on the table to startle the poor boy. "Whatcha reading?" He finally asked after a beat of silence, mismatched eyes gleaming.

Taking a seat in the corner of the room, Julian scowled and pulled out his biology textbook, burying himself in the process of reviewing the days lesson.

Luke jumps in his seat like he’s seen a ghost. “H-Harry Potter.” he said, then, trying to ignore Saburo, continues reading the book, as he easily carried all of the others ~~besides cursed child~~ in his backpack as other things to read again.

Sam resheathes his sword, brushing his light
blue hair out of his face, as well as accidentally
taking off his hood. as soon as he realizes his hood
is off, he looks extremely embarrassed, as this is
the first time anyone at school has ever seen what
his face even looks like. he blushes cutely and puts
his hood back up, continuing to blush.

Scarlet jumps in surprise from the sudden sound that Saburo makes. She keeps her gaze trained, she is a bit concerned that he'll try to hit the poor boy. She doesn't move from her spot quite yet, since he isn't posing as a threat quite yet

Luke nervously moves away. Detention was the worst class ever. He didn’t go by the ring, couldn’t go over to one place or the other, so he walks over to the empty part of the class, showing he doesn’t really want to be bothered at the moment. He forgot his violin case by Alex, not realizing it because he wanted to get away.

Laughing, Saburo took the vacated seat. "Sorry, you're just fun to tease." He called from across the class, sticking his tongue out childishly. He could see the violin case that Luke left behind and picked it up. Deciding that it was probably better to apologise properly, he walked over to hand the case back to Luke with an apologetic smile.

Luke smiles. “Thanks. I almost forgot it.” and he goes back to reading, the side of his face on his hand and his elbow on the table as he reads. Reading was Luke’s second best thing to outside of learning at school, the first favorite being playing the violin.

Alex was now playing Minecraft on her Switch, while technaclly not against any rules as since she wasn't bothering anyone, it probably wasn't recomended.

At the ring the large guy who'd been compeeting aginst the scrawny girl lost and hung his head in shame as he took the humilating walk back to his seat.

(someone get in trouble here, I need a ~~victum~~ voulenteer for the fighting ring)

Sitting back in his seat, Saburo pulled out his own handheld device, and began playing his own game. He had no intention of doing any more than what he needed to.

There was a pause in Julian's studying as he glanced up at the arena. The familiar itch to jump into the fight was ever present but he held himself back. He had promised to try and behave and he had ever intention of keeping that promise.

May laughed as she leaned back in her seat. This seemed like a lot of fun, and she even got to fight some punks! Gee, the day was getting better and better! “Hey can I go next?” She yelled out. “I’m itching to fight some kids!”

Julie gulped as she entered the room, shaking in fear. She was going to get killed here... Why did she have to go through this? It wasn’t her fault that she had small clothes! She whimpered as she sat down near the more fearful kids, hoping that she wouldn’t get hurt.

Ambria groaned as she sat down. This was unfair! She didn’t deserve to be in detention!
