Plot
There's a strange pandemic going around, and it's infecting people...rapidly. Nobody knows the cause, and thus, there's no known cure. Scientists that haven't fallen victim to the disease call it the Maniacal Plague. The disease's symptoms include dizziness, fever, and its most notable symptom: insanity. Because of the plague's ability to destroy any sense of humanity in its victims, it's been nicknamed the Zombie Plague. It seems as if everyone is falling victim to this horrid disease, except for a select few...so far. The race for life begins as these survivors must protect themselves from both the disease, and those who carry it.
Lucky for you, there's someone out there who seems to know more about the plague than anyone else. You find a letter signed with the name 'Dr. Leonid Turgenev'. You open it up, and it reads...
I don't know if anyone will read this, or even live to find it...but if you're reading this, that means you've survived the pandemic...at least so far. There isn't much about the disease that I can tell you...at least not yet...but I can tell you this: the disease affects and destroys the central nervous system. If you contract the disease, there's no way you'll survive...at least, as far as I know. The disease appears to be highly contagious, but some people seem to have a natural immunity to it. Even if you find yourself immune, be careful, because the disease's victims might kill you instead. Because of this, I'm currently hiding at a location I can't yet disclose. For now, you'll just have to survive on your own. There's so much information I want to tell you, but...there isn't much time, so please...stay safe.

Appearance: He has fair skin and hazel eyes. His dark blond hair is styled in an undercut (but the shaved part isn't that short). He has a thin but toned build and stands at 5'8. He often wears a black turtleneck and cargo pants. He has a baby face, so he tries to look more his age by dressing in dark colors.
Other: he usually carries around a pistol and knife he found in order to protect himself and his friends

Personality: Shy and paranoid. The smallest noises scare her and she doesn’t like to talk to other people. Whenever she finds someone she likes to talk to, she will talk 100 MPH (very fast). She is scared of pretty much everything.
Appearance: Short, red hair (a little like a pixie haircut but longer), pretty short in size, likes to wear leather jackets and plain shirts with jeans
Other: She carries a pocket knife because of her paranoia
Edit: She doesn’t even know how to use a knife without hurting herself, and can’t protect herself.

Personality: Dias appears to be a cautious, young man. He seems to despise violence and can't handle gore too well. Would be the whiny type when he comes across violence. Can't protect himself for god's sake.
Appearance: Dias stands at average height and always sports a dark blue hoodie. He's got dyed light blue hair tied in a ponytail and brown eyes. He's pale, used to get comments on how he's a vampire due to the fact that no, he doesn't bask in the sun, thank you very much. Has freckles littered on his face. Wears mismatched socks and shoes all the time. True fashion disaster.

Personality: Jake tends to be very sympathetic and kind-hearted, often going out of his own way to help or protect a complete stranger. Because of his compassionate nature, he gives people trust too easily which doesn't always end up in his favor. Despite his kind nature, he still tends to be quite stubborn, strong-willed, and will bluntly tell it how it is.
Appearance: Jake stands at about 5'10" with tanned skin. He has dark hair that falls just above his eyebrows and light brown eyes. He has a somewhat toned build and is typically seen wearing a black t-shirt tucked into his gray checkered-print pants with black sneakers. He has clear wayfarer eyeglasses, a silver septum piercing and silver diamond earrings.
Other: Carries a generic black backpack with different handguns and other supplies. Also has a pocketknife in... his pocket...

Personality: A bit analytical, a bit rash. Tends to jump into things, but (usually) finds a way out. He thinks he's cool, but is actually a closet geek. He makes himself laugh.
Appearance: About 5'7" and wears jeans and a hoodie. Typical. Smooth, short black-ish hair and sometimes wears glasses. Generally has a backpack on (like a regular high school-college aged student would I guess).
Other: Not all that good with weapons but he sure can run fast. Nevertheless, he carries an ax and a first-aid kit, just in case.

Personality: Catious and analytical, she is a tactical fighter. She was practically born to be in this situation. She can be snappy at times, but she means well, all she wants is for everyone to survive
Appearence: Standing at the extreme height of 5'11 she could try out for the role of: Tall Girl. With warm green eyes and bleached blonde hair, although her natural brown is starting to show through. She always wears combat boots, camo pants, and camo sweater
Other: She has a pistol with a silencer on it, and a large sword, yes a sword. It's her pride and joy. Also she carries a notebook with her- don't try to read it though, she hates people looking through her stuff

Personality: Fierce, competitive, quite stubborn, serious, very fast; because of her past, she doesn't trust people very well and is always suspicious of others, especially now with the pandemic; she is definitely a rebel and cold to everyone; sometimes sarcastic or cruel
Appearance: Dark black long curls, black eyes, tan skin, fierce and confident expression, white shirt with leather jacket, ripped jeans, knee high black boots
Other: Carries a light backpack with canned food, tools, and her diary/journal; is constantly holding her favorite crossbow

Personality: quiet, rarely speaks unless she has something important to say. She’s stern, but willing to help others despite her offput nature.
Appearance: dark brown, almost black hair with sharp amber eyes. She has a long, draping burnt yellow scarf that she uses to cover most of her face.

Appearance: Long Purple Hair, white tank top, Raven tattoo around her neck and top of her back, silver bow and gold tipped arrow always by her side (the arrows are in her quiver on her back)
Other: She uses a bow and arrow and her eyes change color because of a birth defect (her eye change color depending on what she's feeling)
