Seeing Maddy calm down, Semi continued to murmur comforting words while cradling her close. His wings and back hurt and he winced when he tried to move them, but making sure Maddy was okay came first. It always did.

(WARNING: This gets a little violent)

Back in town:

*Ruby sat down in her cardboard box home. She was starving and had nothing to eat nor did she have money. She was wearing rags. A stranger came up to her. He talked to her in a southern accent.*

Well 'allo pretty lady. Would you like to come with me to moi 'ouse.

*Ruby looked at the stranger. She recognized him from a while back. He was a creep who she "worked" for a few months ago* Leave me alone

*The stranger grabbed her* Oi said come with me to moi 'ouse

*Ruby's eyes turned blue as she looked at the stranger* I said leave me alone.

*The stranger hit her.* Like 'ell I will.

*Ruby's hands began to spark as she shocked the stranger*

O, youa gonna get it now missy. *The stranger began to beat her with a wooden stick*

*Maddy woke up and saw Semi* Semi what happened? *She saw the large dent in the wall.* What happened to the wall?

*Eric smiled* Alas, no. I was born blind. *Eric motioned her to come to him* However, I am like you. A mutant.

*Ruby stepped back* Please. Just leave me alone.

*Eric put his hand down.* If you want me to leave I will leave. However, if you come with me, I now people who can help you.

*Ruby chuckled* You blind coot. No one can help me.

*Eric moved closer to her.* No one can help you. But many can.*Eric heard her stomach growl* You are hungry aren't you?

Amara nodded. "Thank you again. I will make the announcement tomorrow that we need to start training a little harder."

James stiffened up. "Are you new to the school?" He had never seen Selene before. He knew there were hunters, but didn't think they would be brave enough to come to the school.

By the time James was able to scream for help, it was too late. He looked around and screamed when he saw Victor. "Perfect" he said. "Throw him in a cage. I have a helmet that will help us control him."
