Um that isnt a sprite,, and the size of the 'canvas' isnt really fitting into the rules,, also that could be considered as uh art theft? Idk ill leave it to the mods

thank y'all :0 it was my first time doing a background as complex as that (though i've done, like, maybe one or two backgrounds with detail, though neither of them were as complicated as this OTL). i'm practicing backgrounds since i'm looking to do a comic collab with a friend in the near future.

(i've actually caught a lot of mistakes in the two days after i drew it OTL)

have a doodle.

@-hoot-

Your drawing is super cute aa! I love the lines, they're super clean.

But I might suggest drawing fewer wrinkles? The arm of the jacket doesn't scrunch up that much, even if it were a super loose fabric. For this particular art style I'd suggest only sparsely drawing a few wrinkles near the curve of the arm (the elbow), and shoulder.

The thigh is also too thick thicc. A thigh grafts to the knee near the top of the knee line rather than the bottom.

Otherwise, it's really adorable! Keep up the good work. C: The face is absolutely adorable <33

@Suvanash

Mate. I'm really sorry, but I have to aggree with @Flameh. It is baisically art theft (I think, don't quote me on that). Work on your own art style, keep drawing, and practacing, heck, even I made those mistakes! I never posted art untill I got much better at it, so don't sweat!

@Furret
Looks pretty so far, it'll make a nice plate once it gets done. I'd add a little more plants/grass to the other side of the lake, too.

@Jamison
Not bad for a sketch! The arms are bugging me a little. Trx fixing the angle and thickness by looking at your own?

@Ardyn
Definitely getting better than when you first joined. On the doggo, I'd add/draw some kind of a texture, like the purrloin has. I live the first human a lot, though! Anyway, he/they are a li'l awkward looking from front bc eyes aren't positioned in the same way. Did you try drawing two half circles on the sketch to help place the eyes? I'll sketch you something like that later!

@Lance
I can't draw so good, so it's kind of hard to critique? The anatomy of the character and the background are simply amazing! Thw water needs reflection, maybe? Sketch is nice, but it needs more work on the anatomy.

@Suvansh
Wow, a lot of stuff to list - isn't a sprite bc pixels aren't visible, canvas size is wrong, poorly drawn messy lines, bucket tool sucks for stuff that are shaded and the worst is art theft.

@Nerdy
I agree there, clean the lines, perhaps? The colors match gorgeously, though! ♥

@Yaya's child (omg, this nickname rocks)
Mhm, the human themselves are pretty, but you should work on the clothes more.

@Ignis
I'd make them a penguini or any kind of a birb *^*

@Suvansh - everybody else is right, that isn't a sprite. It's a recolor of an official Pokémon image. You edited it and are now trying to claim it as your own (and even entering it to win a prize), which is considered art theft.

I would also like to point out that that's not even the character I had requested to be sprited. I definitely can't accept your entry, sorry.

@Lance - wow wow wow that city picture! I love it~ can I ask why the other people are kind of blurry?

@Error
Wowie, I love the tears!! But yeah, try making a lot of smaller strokes to get the lineart better. It may look "sketchy", it'll do tho

@Lucky
You'll get better at it with time, don't worry! ♥

Not going to post art for a bit... Just downloaded a new software because my old one didn't work, sadly. I'm working on a big piece though!

@error The tears definitely look good.

@-hoot-
I do agree that you should clean up the folds in the clothing, like in the sleeves.

@eggnard
I love how you drew the border around the character, and the shading is really clean. I will suggest making the eyes slightly darker than the hair or adding some shines in them, it was hard to tell what was what ^^
