Forum-Index → Roleplay → Supernatural HG 3Sleeping in a tub was nothing new. Before, Kanata had legitimately fell asleep while floating at sea, but once his stupid childhood friend caught wind if it, a curfew had been set for him so he had taken the next best option and just slept in a tub filled with water. Waking up with the sun, Kanata stretched with a happy smile, bouncing about his room. He didn't bother changing out of his soaking wet clothes as he flounced down to the cafeteria. "Good 'morning' everyone!" He greeted at the door, inspecting the food out for display. Grabbing a bowl of rice, he generously piled slices of fish onto his meal before picking up the whole bottle of soy sauce, drowning his food in the salty brine. Happily digging into his monstrosity of a breakfast, Kanata hummed happily like there was nothing wrong in the world

Despite not being much of a morning person, Adelaide cracked the muscles in her neck until they popped like gunfire. Sauntering through the corridors with cat-soft feet, it didn't take her long to reach the mess hall. The Valkyrie stretched, a satisfied yawn opening her maws wide to reveal unnaturally white teeth, as she came upon the vast array of foods. She settled for a healthy meal of fruits and protein; anything with high fats was likely to give her an upset stomach. She had barely enough energy to form the humanoid glamour that disguised her angelic traits; even the coffee didn't help. With one smooth flick of her knife, she sliced off a sizable chunk of her apple and crunched into it, the sweet flavor bursting over her tongue.
While she ate, she kept an eye out for the other tributes, namely any confrontations that could lead to a deeper reading of the tribute's inner lives. She already had several abilities down in her book; Shiloh, who was telekinetic, Kanata who was hydrokinetic, Natsume who was capable of frivolous sorcery, Finn who could control gas and Marshal who could control light. The silver lining was that they had not seen her ability, the ability to move at deadly speeds while fighting with enhanced senses. They did not see, and that was Adelaide's secret. Exposing your abilities all at once could become an Achilles heel, the weakness that would be immediately exploited. Exposing her angelic holy light was not even half of it. There was more to her, and she knew it'd take a while to get to know her.
Breakfast went down quicker than she expected, and she headed out quietly without a second glance. Arriving at the training area, she took in the sheer array of weapons. Each one of them, she knew how to kill with even before she knew how to walk. She knew their weaknesses and their benefits like the back of her hand. Each one gleamed with a sinful glow, their luster beckoning to the Career. Beautiful, and wicked.
Hailey walked around the dining room, looking for a seat. She had turned invisible so all that was left of her was a floating plate. She shyly walked around.
Marshal stuffed his plate high, getting all the food he could. He tried to balance it as he looked for a seat, he found an empty seat in the corner of the room. He sat down and started to stuff his face.
Eve finally woke up and ate light, a pice of toast and orange juice, she was too nervous to eat anything else. Eve put her hair back in a braided ponytail and headed down, she siddled up to Roxy and Aurora since they were the closest ones, and they seemed nice.
Finishing up breakfast, Kanata flounced over to the training area with a beaming smile. "Good 'morning'' again!" He greeted, smile never leaving his face. His eyes took in how dry and sterile the whole room was and pouted. Without any water, Kanata would dry up! He could already feel the painful rasp of air scratching against his throat as breathing became painful for him.

Eve looked around at all of the equpiment, some looked deadlier then others, though she perked up at the large jungle gym set.
Marshal had entered the room and watched Hayden, ’I could do better, he thought with a grin.
"H-how ruDE. Unhand me at ONCE." Natsume stammered, wriggling around which did nothing to loosen the grip around his waist. Instead, the grip only tightened and Natsume choked on air. The odd boy who had embraced him didn't seem inclined to let go of him so Natsume sighed and resigned himself to such a fate, allowing his body to drape over limply over his captors shoulder.
Having successfully kidnapped someone, Kanata happily hummed and dragged the red-head in his arms over to the weapons rack. "There we go~" he hummed, setting the child down with a pat on his dual toned hair. "Pick a 'weapon' and i will teach it to 'you'." He urged, beaming despite the hostility rolling off the child in frankly surprising ferocity. "As an 'apology' for kidnapping you." The child squawked in fury at that statement and Kanata couldn't help but laugh. Children were always so energetic.

The training area itself was a gymnaism filled with various obstical coures and weapons. Above them were the game makers, the ones in charge of the arena once the games started. Over the next four days they would observe and make scores upon each tribute's skill level.
As soon as the last of the tributes arived a tall athletic capital woman steped forward and began to explain the training schedual. There were diffrent stations, some teached survival skills and others fighting techniques, experts were at each station per their expeteise. Engaging with other tributes for combative exercises was forbiddin, as there were assitantson hand if anyone wanted to practice with a partner. There were four compulsery exercises and the rest was individual training.
She then spoke words of warning: "In two weeks, twenty-three of you will be dead and one of you will be alive. Which one of you that survives depends on who well you pay attention over the next four days, particualrly to what I'm about to say. My advice is this, don't ignore the survival skills. Everyone wants a sword or axe, but exposre can kill just like a knife. Most of you will die from natureal causes. Ten percent from infection. Twenty percent from deyhdation." She then sent everyone on their way, the (NPC) careers went to the deadliest looking weapons and used them with ease.
Eve watched and looked around for something to do. Roxy headed over to the knot station and Aurora headed over to learn some edittable plants. Eve finally followed Shiloh over to fire station.

Fulminare's choice of weaponry was masterfully diverse, as this had been taught to her when she was barely a toddler. She pressed her palm into the familiar heavyweight of a trident, lifting it clean off its rack to examine it. The pale silver blades gleamed almost blindingly bright as the Career looked it over. Fulmin, when holding this weapon, felt a different sort of adrenaline; not pleasure nor sadism. No, it was righteousness, a barbaric sort, as if the wicked blade knew that she was meant to spill blood. The steel was practically begging her to bring it to a more..bloody glory than what most of the other tributes might acknowledge.
The trident was not one of the more favorable weapons, in Fulminare's opinion. It stymied her usual graceful dance, instead, making it more choppy; interrupting her rhythm and her flow. Granted, a trident held a high place as a lethal weapon, both ranged and in melee. Taking the arm to a series of targets, she hurled the graceful weapon. The three prongs struck the target with a legitimate crunch that Fulminare felt in her bones, making the dummy topple over with the force
Hailey gasped as she saw Derek fall to the ground. The sight of blood made her nauseous, but she ran over and kneeled down. “Derek?!” She asked while assessing his wounds. “Someone help!” She said.
Eve had hidden her eyes behidn her hands, not wanting to watch the horror show.
