*Maddy began to cook some of the meat and heard the main chef tell at someone from behind her. She turned her head slightly and saw the chef holding two pieces of bread on a chefs head* WHAT ARE YOU?! *The chef tearfully answered* An idiot sandwich chef *The main chef yell* Damn straight now take your jacket off and- *A pan fell and startled Maddy as the chef yelled profanities at the other chef* Off!! *Maddy turned her head back to her pan and delivered it to the main chef for its inspection. She then began to cook something else. She turned her head to look at Faith's pan and saw her food was burning. She walked over to Faith* Here, let me help. *She put her hands on Faith's and began to guide them* What you gotta do is continually stir this to make sure it doesn't burn

Smiling at the concern, Revé saw themself back out and delved into the chaos of serving drinks to the patrons. The food at the table was beginning to dwindle and they clicked their tounge. Yes, they were slightly understaffed, considering the personality of the head chef, but it shouldn't be that bad. Dipping down to the kitchens, Revé poked their head in to see if there was anything to be done. To their slight surprise, they saw the Queen and one of the guards working as well and a smile pulled on their lips. "Don't mind me, just picking up more food for upstairs." They told one of the chefs who noticed their presence, grabbing one of the completed dishes.

"Hard working people are the best~" a silky voice sounded behind Cole, smooth timbre washing over the room. "Ah, I wish I could be like that~" Seated with his back to the wall was Ritsu, eyes closed and content smile on his face. The ballroom was a perfect place to sleep really, with cool flooring and soft curtains for Ritsu to rest his head on. The sleepy doctor hummed and cracked an eye open to regard Cole serenely. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Faith had gotten distracted by the sudden shouting by the head chef and the other one, was it always like this? The slight hiss form the stove alerted Faith that teh food was starign to burn, again. Maddy's hand slipped around her hands and Faith felt her face burn slightly at Maddy's gentle touch as she guided her hands.

The twins had managed to evad Drake up until they went into the royal libarry, they went here all the time, but something had caught their attention. There was a heavily locked area, small area in the way back full of restircted books and dark spells, the dark magic lured the twins over. An unknown voice disembodied voice spoke in soft velvet whispers, whisepering sweet nothings in the children's ears. "Come find me. Do you want to play?"

"Did you just read my mind?" Cole asks with an amused smile. "I agree one hundred percent" he moves closer to Ritsu and leans against the wall. "I'm Cole Mavis... and you are?"

Robin was starting to get bored. Her eyes land on Drake and she once again thinks of Maeve. "Oh what the Hell... I mind as well ask" she says to herself as she moves towards Drake. He was busy looking around for the girls, something Robin wasn't aware of. "Can I ask you something?" She asks Drake. "My friend is interested in becoming a guard" she adds before he can answer.

Rose quietly put her book down. She stood up from her small chair and stretched her arms, yawning. Her amber eyes glitter in the light as she walks out of the room. She had been reading on the royal family, she frowned a bit before composing herself.
His smile has a grip on me <3

*Maddy let go of Faith's hands and let her stir the food in the pan on her own. Maddy smiled and clapped* There you go, now keep doing that for maybe thirty seconds and take it up to the pass to go out, ok? *Faith nodded and smiled after Maddy turned away to tend to her station. Maddy turned her head slightly* And dont forget to season it. I've heard Ramsey has thrown dishes at people for being over seasoned

*Drake was to busy looking for the girls to answer he went to the library with Robin and saw the two girls following a book of sorts but something was not right something was telling him to safe the girls. He cast a spell on himself making see things that no human being can see and saw the book holding dark magic properties, he rush toward the girls grabbing both of them as he step away from the book* Take care of them! *he gave Robin the girls as he went to investigate the dark book* What sorcery is this!

"Ri~tsu. Don't sweat the last name. Its not important anyways." He yawned, waving slightly. "I'm not a mind reader but I can certainly try~" Ritsu's pattern of speech was exceedingly slow and exaggerated, as if at any moment he could just fall asleep. He wasn't sure if anyone would connect his name to his shop, Midnight Nocturne was a famous establishment but not many people knew the name of the man running the apothecary. "So why are you here for the ball? Or do you want me to read your mind for that?"

Cole laughs, warming up to the tired boy right away. "Ah you know how it is. You have to make an appearance for your families sake. I also have to ensure that a certain pair doesn't tear each other apart" Cole replies.

Robin's eyes widen. She holds the girls against her, but activates her power just in case it was needed. She quickly finds that even with her sharper senses, she can't sense anything out of the ordinary. But she trusted Drake's instincts.

When the girls had been snapped out of the trance of the book, it started screaming and shrieking in the most horrible way that words couldn't describe, angered that the children had been relased from its hold. Drake was only able to get it to shut up by slamming the book shut. After a few curious moments he opened it to find strange and unknown writing, Faith would never have a book like this in here, it had to have been planted in there by someone wishing harm on the family.

After finishing her items she followed Maddy with her heart in her throat as she waited for the head chef to anyalise the dish Faith had made, hopefully it was made to his likeing.

*Drake grab the book and took it the outside to the concrete ground to prevent what he was gonna do now, books like this aren't so easily burn or destroy due to their dark magic properties he pointed his right arm at the book that throws to the ground and begins to chant a spell* May the devil grant me power to burn you away till nothing remains! Hellfire! *a pentagram appears in his right arm shooting demonic fire towars the book slowly burning all the pages of the book until it remain nothing but ashes. He stop casting the spell as he look at the burn book ashes being flown away by the wind* We must report this to the queen... *he said serious not letting nothing happen to the girls as he took Robin and the princesses back to the party to speak with Charlie* Come Robin we must hurry! *his thoughts were on the book and how it got there as he said before this book would never be in the possession of the queen, he hurry to the party to speak with Charlie or the queen*

"Ah, so the burden of the family name falls on you too hmm?" Ritsu sighed dramatically, kicking his legs out. "You came with friends huh? Lucky, friends are always nice to have around." Makes the whole coming here for the sake of your family a million times better. Ritsu didn't like social functions, there was always too many people but talking with someone one on one was pretty much up Ritsu's alley.

*Maddy looked at Faith and saw how, despite her earlier scepticism of trusting Maddy, was now having fun cooking. She looked around and saw how some people just watched Faith in shock, including one handsome man with green eyes. Maddy walked over to Faith and whispered in her ear* Hey, he's looking at you kid. *Faith looked at the man and slightly chuckled* I've got to go, miss. But it was nice hanging out with you

Robin nods, still looking confused by what was happening. But she could tell that right now was not the time to ask. She picks up the girl's with ease. Her heightened strength making it incredibly easily to carry them. She follows Drake to whoever it is he is planning on talking to.

Cole shakes his head and laughs at this. "You sure about that? Ever heard of Josh Maverick? That boy is a pain my arse. Robin Cadwell isn't too bad... but put her near Josh and she is a nightmare" he sighs. "I see what you are saying... but I would rather go alone than with them" he explains.

*Drake makes it to the ballroom with Robin and the girls behind him he walk his way back to Charlie were he was chatting with royal guest, he walks behind him tapping his shoulder as he had a serious look on his face under the helmet* Charlie we must speak in private you, Robin and me now *he kept his tone serious while being respectful toward her highness he never called any of the royals by their name he was to serious and overwhelm by the book dark magic properties since he never seen anything like it. He was so overwhelmed that he dint notice that he called her highness Charlie* Its regarding your sister's...

Faith smiled at Maddy, a slight blush dusting her cheeks at the mention of the handsome man watching her. "Stay safe Maddy, I'll see you tomorrow morning." Fiath went back to cooking, now that the rust had been shaken off, cooking almost felt natural to Faith.

Charlie's eyes widened at the mention of her sisters. "Are they hurt? Please tell me they're okay."

I found a dark book that made your sisters go to a trance-like state in the library, I burn the book till it remains nothing but ashes *Drake explain the entire situation from his perspective on how he saw the girls being led to book luckily he was there with Robin and was able to pull the girls before something bad happen* There safe but I request to interview the librarian on the matter of how the book got there your highness?
