Fern nodded and Harlow gently handed the baby over as Gran showed her how to hold the newborn. "Are all babies this tiny?" Fern questioned with a small smile on her face.

Cap reached through the bars and grabbed Leaf's arm, who screamed in protest. Azar grabbed Leaf and tryied to pull her back but an older Peacekeeper punched her in the jaw causing her to stumble back adn release her hold on Leaf. Cap pulled her through. "Dyaln! Hold her still!" The same peacekeeper gripped Leaf and held her as still as he could manage.

Cap stretched a little and looked at Leaf. "Now, for your due, miss Leaf." Cap felt Leaf's stomach for a moment and smiled. “Perfect. Put her on the floor, Dylan.”

*Dylan stepped out of the shadows. His eyes were lined with a fiery red. His glove began to glow the same color. He wound up his arm to hit Leaf, but when he hit her, the energy disbursed and she flew to a wall*

Leaf slammed into the wall and dropped to the ground, blood started to flow from her head wound. Cap smirked and whispered in passing to Dyaln. "So, any sugestions on what we should do with this pretty lady?"

Emmie closes her eyes. She begins wailing, at the top of her lungs. Or as loud as her lungs would allow her. She shrieks and moans and makes as much noise as possible. She kick the cells and screams, hoping to distract Cap and whoever else is out there.
His smile has a grip on me <3

Harlow laughs. "Well, sometimes they can be slightly bigger, sometimes they can be slightly smaller" she explains. She sits down next to Fern. "How has Gran been treating you? Has she been spoiling you at all?"

Tempest shivers when the medics leave the room. Without them there to distract her, it dawns on her just how cold the room is. She glances over at her wrist. "Maybe I can use my powers?" Tempest whispers outloud. When she tries to shift she is met with pounding in her head. The overwhelming headache stops her from shifting. She sighs and lays there, waiting for whatever torture comes next.

Fern nodded. "She lets me stay up latter then what Leaf does, she also gives me some money some times so I can buy sweets."

Sage gave a hiccup after Fern finished feeding her then sighed into Fern's arms. Willow started fussing in Gran's arms, she was looking for Leaf but being unable to find her seemed to upset the baby some.

"Yeah... I miss her two" Harlow whispers to Willow. Gran's eyes meet up with Harlow's, the two seem to be having a silent conversation. A "we'll talk later look" crosses over Gran's face before she glances down at Willow. She ever so carefully moves over to the rocking chair in the corner of the room and rocks Willow.

Harlow turns back to Fern. "You are going to be a great aunt" she tells Fern. "Are you planning on spoiling the girls like Gran spoils you?"

Fern looked up at Harlow and nodded. "Isnt' that what aunts are for?"

Willow stopped fussing and seemed confused at the sudden rocking, but the baby seemed to enjoy it as she settled down in Gran's arms and started sucking on Gran's finger, nibbling some with Willow's tiny gums.

Delta steps into the cell block. "Did I miss anything?" she asks, the temperature in the room drops several degrees. Her voice is low and clear, she doesn't seem to be affected by the sudden cold that spreads around the room. Her dark blue eye lands on Emmie. "Hush." she says. A bolt of ice flies into Emmie's throat. The 13 year old girl looks up in surprise, grabs her throat and passes out.
His smile has a grip on me <3

"Of course!" Harlow tells Fern. "I can't wait to see you three play with eachother when they are older. It's going to be so much fun, for all of us" to Harlow's credit, she says this without breaking down. To Harlow, they can't be a complete family without Leaf.

Gran smiles at Willow. She is having memories of Harlow when she was this age. It was a much simpler time. Gran knows that Harlow is hurting. It pains her that there is nothing she can do about it.

Fern's smile faded. "It's not complete without Leaf." Fern looked down at Sage, who'd fallen asleep. "It's just not the same without her."

Willow looked up at Gran with her dark eyes and blinked, she for the moment stopped nibblin on Gran's finger.

"It's not. But I'll get her back. I promise." Gran's head snaps up in surprise, she opens her mouth to say something, then realizes that this is not the time to discuss this.
"Fern, why don't you put Sage in her crib so she can properly sleep?" Gran asks as she continues to rock Willow

Harlow stands up, ready to follow Fern when she is suddenly stopped in her tracks. When she turns to look at Gran she is met with a disapproved look. "Harlow honey. I know you want to save Leaf... But you can't. Both of you are new mothers. What if something happens to you two? Your children will be raised not knowing their parents" Gran explains. Harlow turns away from Gran, tears falling down her face.

"You're right... But I can't just sit here and put my trust in the hands of everyone here... No offense to them. I just...I don't feel like myself without her" she turns to Gran, wiping her face. "I'm going to do this. But only if you and Fern are okay with this idea. But if I go out there, I will come back alive and I will bring Leaf back with me"

"Those are empty promises Harlow.." Gran replies with a saddened expression. "You can't promise that. The future is too unknown"

Peacekeepers suddenly move towards Azar's cell. Two of them grab her arms, while the other two ensure that she can't fight them. They roughly drag the girl down a hall towards a dark room. "That's perfect boys.. thank you" a voice whispers in the darkness. Azar is shoved in the center of the room. Behind her, is frantic shuffling and a slam of a door. The second the door shuts an automatic light turns on, dimming the room. It gives off just enough light that Kayda can be seen. Her hands are chained to a wall, but the chain is long enough so that she can freely move around. It's obvious that the Capitol doesn't fully trust her. "Why hello little friend~" Kayda purrs. "Remember me?" Her skin is deathly pale, and her eyes lack emotion. She looks like a dead girl walking.

Gran sighs. "We'll finish this later" she moves to the next room and puts Willow in her crib

Willow gave a sigh as she fell asleep into the crib, Sage turned onto her side but stayed asleep. Fern looked up at Gran and Harlow, sensing the tention. "Are you guys okay? You sound tense."

Azar had to squint at the sudden light but then her eyebrows raised in shock. "Kayda? It can't be, you drowned, I saw it." She pushed herself to her feet and took a step back in caution. "You got tangled up in the weeds at the bottom of the lake bed."

"I did!" She chirps. "Oh, that expierence terrible! But the Capitol thought that I deserved a second chance" she smiles. "And a second chance is what I received" she smiles and shuts her eyes. "To repay the Captiol for so graciously giving back my life, I have to take many more" she laughs. "Like I'll have a problem with that!" She steps forward, the chains rattling against eachother as she moves closer and closer to Azar. Suddenly she stops moving, this is as far as the chains will go. She is only a few feet away from Azar. "Why are you so scared Azar? Don't you wanna play?" She pouts. "I wanted to... You are no fun.. not as fun as your girlfriend"
