This suggestion includes many suggestions I have found elsewhere. this suggestion is a compilation of those, plus some of my own, with a few changes

Currently, there are many features in the game that have a tendency to be slow or laggy if someone doesn't have such a good internet connection or such a beefy CPU.
To make my point here are some examples:
- when watering the berries in the berrygarden, tens of stars appear and move upwards. personally, I do not have this problem but I have heard of it overloading and crashing the computer because of all of the moving elements...
- when interacting during SCS on many occasions, due to my slow internet, my computer gives me pokemon to click slower than I can click, and therefore I have a maximum clicking speed slower than I can click, resulting in a lower SCS score-thingy than I could have made
- HoL or the Royal Tunnel minigames both include many reloads of the page, often resulting in slower internet speeds, and possibly with large waiting times or slight disadvantages to the minigame

So I propose a new setting. This could either be included in the misc. settings, or possibly with its own new page of settings. You could have, maybe, a list of 3-5 checkboxes (depending on how many features get this setting applied) each with a label saying something like 'decreased images when interacting' and then, when you interact, the images of the Pokemon would not show. This is to make it easier to interact quicker during SCS.

The whole point of this suggestion is to decrease the effects and disadvantages brought by low internet. Personally, I think this would be very useful.
This suggestion is entirely a suggestion and the examples above are just examples. It is a modular suggestion, so you could remove or add examples. Please note that all of the suggestion is subject to change, and don't take it too literally :)
I also think that a small extra bit should be added to make this less desirable (can't think of another word), so you would want to have them turned off to keep the site as it was, but I cant think of any. I am open to comments!

bump :) tryna implement it by SCS this week....

100% support, my iPad can only handle 3-4 taps but I can tap much faster than that, and my phone is even worse. It would be very nice since I really like SCS's but can't use it to my full potential.

Disabling stars would also be nice, they tend to lag A LOT

FYI: Your browser allows you to disable images. Example on Chrome.
I don't mean to dismiss your suggestion by this post (not at all!); just thought I should mention it in case somebody wanted a quick (but dirty) fix and didn't know about this before 😄

(Though I do have to mention that most browsers actually load images asynchronously - meaning that the load speed of the clicklist should be independent from the loading of the images. So I'm not sure if there would really be any speedup. Maybe you can try out the workaround that I just suggested and see if there's even any benefit.)

I want to just bump this because although i have a good internet connection, my computer can't really handle loading hundreds of images while the screen is loading, it would be nice to be able to disable images (such as profile pictures and anything contained in an [img] tag [perhaps turn them into links?]) to have a kind of 'Fast' mode. Some images have even caused my computer to freeze (1gb of ram'll do that to you), so I would like these options to become available.
