Blossom goes back to tending to Tani while they have the chance.

Star is helping Gwen fight the imposter solders, her sword fataly wounding them if not killing them. "Gwen! What do we do?"

"I am going to stay and fight. You should leave" Gwen shouts. "You have a long life ahead of you, you don't deserve to die from this fight" she sucks in a breath when an arrow whizzes past her face, it nearly cuts her face as it passes. "Go to Blossom's house, she is a very important council member. Sage and Tani are there too. You should see if they are there and protect them" Gwen hopes that Star will listen, but she also has a feeling that the girl is going to stay and help her fight this impossible battle.

*Maddy opened the trapdoor and jumped out. She began to run towards the barracks. Ince she reached them, she saw Gwen struggling to fight off 3 mysterious soldiers at once. She began to charge into help her* Gwen! *Gwen looked towards Maddy. Maddy ran past a dead soldier and grabbed a sword they had* Catch! *Maddy threw her sword to Gwen, who caught it and began to cut down the soldiers.*

It takes Gwen a minute to get use to fighting with two swords, but eventually she gets the hang of it. She finds she can block with one and attack with the other when needed. The hardest part of the whole process is trying to keep her balance on the horse. This is the only thing ensuring that she doesn't immediately die, there were far too many unknown soldiers who were probably waiting for their chance to swarm Gwen if she falls. She tries to slowly work her way towards Maddy so the two can work together.

Luke lets out a sigh, and waits for the strange people to all pull out a weapon of some sort. After all, this always happened, someone, which was him, threatens one guy then they all gang up on the person.

Barry jumps down and hurts one of his legs as he does so. He starts hopping away on one leg, trying to get away from the battles. An arrow whizzes by, narrowly missing him and he hops faster.

*Maddy took a spear from one of the mysterious soldiers. She fought back at some of them but then felt an arrow go into her thigh. She fell to the ground in pain and looked for the person who fired it. The leader of these mysterious soldiers stood on the wall holding a bow and threw it down, beginning to walk towards Maddy. He drew his sword as he inched closer to her*


*One of the men smiled and drew their swords, attacking Luke in the process. He accidentally stabbed the man in the chest and killed him*

Gwen clenches her teeth, she turns the reigns hard. The horse stomps towards Maddy's attacker. Gwen quickly leaps off the horse, which causes it to race forward, desperate to escape. It should be enough to momentarily distract him. Gwen drops one of her swords so she can lift Maddy up. She tries to move as fast as she can, she knows that her time is limited. The distraction will not last too long.

Gwen furiously nods. "Yes, run! Blossom and the others needs to be protected" Gwen glances behind her, a stupid decision, but she couldn't help herself, she had to see what Maddy's attacker was doing

*Maddy's attacker watched Gwen and Maddy, while staying stationary about 24 meters away from them. He heard another sound flow throughout the city. He turned around and ran towards the wall and other soldiers followed. They stood next to it and Maddy watched them. Gwen yelled at her men to form a shield wall just in case anything happened. Maddy looked towards Gwen.* What do you think they're-*A loud clap rang throughout the city. Several Warmachine arrows flew towards the city. Maddy turned towards the soldiers* SCATTER!!

Gwen quickly shoves Maddy towards the wall of a house, she then leaps towards the house. The roof of the building gives them the cover they need to not be pierced by arrows. Or so she thinks. Cracks can be heard overhead. Gwen quickly realizes that these arrows were different. They were larger, heavier, deadlier. An arrow makes it's way through the roof, nearly impailing Gwen in the process. This is what? The third time I've evaded death? How much longer will this luck run for? Gwen wonders. "Sorry I did that" Gwen tells Maddy. "We need to get you back to Blossom's house and then we need to get you guys out of here, the city isn't safe" she turns towards her army, desperation filling her gaze, even more of her army had been hit, could they even fight for that much longer? At the rate they were going, soon there would be nobody left to help defend the kingdom. "Are you going to need my help?" Gwen asks. She wants to help out the army, but she also wants to save Maddy and the group. She'll hold her former team above her army if she has to, it's her biggest weakness.

Barry was a little bit late evading the arrows, and got hit by one in his leg. He yells but no sound comes out. He starts to drag himself I trying to find somewhere safe.

Luke waits for one of the people to attack him before he strikes them. He waits for the perfect move.

*Maddy looked towards the city and the army. Those who were still alive were either badly injured or on the verge of collapse. Maddy closed her eyes and thought for a moment. She had reached a decision* Go. Find Blossom and the others and take them somewhere safe. *Maddy looked towards the army* I'm going to stay here with the army and surrender. *Maddy looked at Gwen* With luck, we will survive. But without it, this city may be lost for good.

*The people in Luke's house heard as the horn blew and quickly left the house. An arrow pierce through Luke's home, and he ran outside*

“Oh s***!” Luke yelled after he got out. He saw the giant arrow and began to run in the opposite direction from the warmachines. He wondered what was happening.

Barry continues crawling deeper into the kingdom, hoping to escape. His leg hurts a lot, with the arrow still stuck in it, and his other one probably broken.

"They'll kill you if you do that!" Gwen shouts. "You have finally gotten reunited with Tani..." Gwen stops talking. It's no use trying to convince her to go to Blossom's, Gwen knows that. She sighs, and passes her sword over to Maddy. "At least take this... don't worry, I have other weapons" Gwen tells her. "Be careful when you do this. We finally got you back Maddy, we don't intend on losing you again" Gwen waits for a moment, making sure it's safe before she takes off running.

Star bolted towards Blossom's house where Blossom was trying to pack up as many medical supplies as she could to take with her.

*Maddy took the sword and watched Gwen ride away. She looked at the mysterious soldiers and charged them, rallying her troops in the process. But it was too late. They were overmatched and out numbered. Maddy looked at her blood soaked swords and dropped them, her troops soon followed. The leader of the mysterious soldiers smiled and walked away.* Take them into custody, for treason.

Luke gets out into the open and sees Maddy and other troops against the enemies. He runs towards her. “Maddy! What’s going on?” he asked. He sees the other people advance and he takes out a sword in case

Barry, too tired to keep going, drops and passes out, but it is clear that he is still alive and breathing, even though he had a giant arrow in his leg.
