*Maddy looked towards Luke* Luke, get out of here. *Luke refused to leave* GO!! *Luke began to take steps backwards to run but was caught by several mysterious soldiers. Maddy ran toward the soldiers* GET AWAY FROM HIM!! *Maddy charged the soldiers and began to get them off Luke but she was quickly overwhelmed by the amount of them*

“Hey! Let us go you evil guys full of, evilness!” Luke yelled as he struggled to get free but was also quickly overwhelmed by the mysterious soldiers. He sighed. “You won’t get away with this you know! I’ll break out and mess with you!”

Barry is still out cold, with lots of blood loss and a big wound in one leg and broken bones in another.

Gwen shakes her head. "She's okay right now... But she is surrendering the army... We don't have much time to discuss this. The war machines are attacking the whole kingdom now, we can't stay here" Gwen picks up Tani. "I'm going to lead you guys to the forest. We'll find a space spot for you guys. After that, I am going back to find Dylan, Luke, and Maddy" she swallows down a scream. Now that she has time to think, it's suddenly is dawning on her that she could lose so much from this battle. Her face crumples slightly as she envisions Dylan, her love, dead. Maddy, who has finally returned and is one of her best friends, gone. And finally Luke, someone who she thinks of as a little brother, she wouldn't forgive herself if something happened to him.

Sage seems to pick up on the inner battle going on in Gwen's head. She turns to the group. "Ah, well... We best better get going then shall we?"

*The men drag Maddy towards Benton who is lazily limping along towards them. Maddy and Benton looked eachother in the eyes. Maddy had a murderous look in her eyes* You? You betrayed us? *Benton chuckled and shook his head* No, my dear. All in good time though. *Benton looked at the mysterious soldiers* Take her to my quarters and bind her there. *Benton turned around* I have plans for her. *Benton began to walk away. From a distance, Maddy could hear Lou and Doo.* Hey Doo? Why is it that whenever bad people in our world are talking, they always dramatically turn around?

Luke struggles again, then gives up. “You could at least give us a reason though. We don’t wanna think that you’re doing this on purpose.” he said sarcastically. He then sighs.

Barry makes a groaning noise as he wakes up, not noticing the strange soldiers and Luke and Maddy behind him. He starts slowly crawling away.

The color drained crom Blossom's face. "I just hope Maddy knows what's she's doing." Blossom finished packing what medical suuplies she could put in her pack without breaking it then hefted it over her shoulder.

Emi crawled out of the trap door and looked up at Blossom, who gently held her hand and soothed her.

Gwen's bow had been given to Star, who was probably one of the best shots in the group. The group walk towards forest. Fortunately, it isn't very far away. Dread fills Gwen's stomach with every minute that passes. Every minute that passed was another possibility that Maddy, Luke, or Dylan were dead. I should have saw this coming. This was my army who turned on eachother, these Cloaks attacked on my watch. This is my fault a dark voice tells Gwen. Whenever the voice was correct or not, Gwen couldn't help but believe it and feel guilty.

Star saw the look of hopelessness on Gwen's face and put a hand on her shoulder. "We may've lost the battle, but the war isn't over yet. Don't give up hope yet."

Gwen gives her a tight smile. "I hope you are right" Gwen tells her. She straightens up, seeing the trees in the distance. She narrows her eyes, trying to see if there is danger within the forest. She wouldn't be surprised if there were Cloaks hiding in here waiting to attack anyone who tries to escape

Star stopped the group as she loaded the bow, then aproached the trees with a slow hunter's tread to the treeline. Her eyes scanned the tress and upon finding no threats she waved them on.

Gwen quickly rushes tp the trees. "So where should we go? Maybe there is a cave or a large tree root to hide in?" Gwen asks. She has run through this area every day for five years, yet it has never dawned on her that she should find spots to hide in. She glances around
(I'm gonna brb for a bit. TGG, you can take control of Gwen and Sage as needed for this part. I'll be back soon)

*Maddy woke up in a mostly light room and saw she had been tied to a chair that was chained to the ground.* Your awake. *Maddy looked over towards the corner of the room, where she saw Benton leaning on a wall. He straightened up and began to walk towards her* So, you're working for Talla? *Benton sighed* Yes, and no. You see, like you I didn't know she was alive until a couple hours ago. But beforehand I was working with a certain army that was involved with her. *Maddy looked at him. His hands were trembling. Benton turned around towards Maddy, holding a bottle of scotch* Would you like some? *Maddy shook her head. Benton shrugged and turned around to pour himself some scotch* Why haven't you killed me, Mr... *Benton let out one sarcastic laugh* I forgot, you dont know who I am. *Benton turned around and propelled himself up slightly to sit on the table* My names Benton. *Benton took a sip of his scotch. Maddy watched him drink and saw as his hand continued to shake* Why haven't you killed me yet, Mr. Benton. *Benton looked slightly annoyed upon hearing her call him 'Mr. Benton'* Just, Benton, if you would. And the reason my dear is because you are not mine to kill.

Barry yells out, “HELP!” as he continued crawling slowly towards the forest, hoping to find some cover so he doesn’t die and maybe find a good place to rest.

Luke is confused at where he is. He struggles but stays in the same place. “Umm, hello? Anyone there?” he asked aloud, hoping for an answer.

"One moment" Gwen gently lays Tani on the ground, then she slowly moves out of the forest. She thought she heard a cry for help. Her eyes land on Barry, who is severally injured. Gwen quickly races towards him, she then shushes him before he can make another noise. "You are okay now" she tells him, "Don't shout anymore, we don't want anyone to hear us" Gwen tells Barry. She carefully picks the boy up and carries him to the group. "We have someone in the group who can heal you" Gwen assures him.

Luke sighs at the people ignoring him. He wonders what is happening. He starts making annoying noises to try and get some attention towards him. He then yells, “Look at me! Being annoyyyiing!”

Barry, with pure terror on his face, faints in Gwen’s arms, his leg still bleeding a little with the spear still in it.

Gwen carries Barry back to the group. "Blossom we need your help." She lays Barry on the ground so Blossom can work on him. "Looks like this spot will have to do" Gwen says with a sigh. "At least there is a lot of tree cover"

Blossom hear Barry sturggling in Gwen's arms, she carefully took Barry from her arms and calmed him down. "It's okay, you're safe with us. Can you please hold still so I can patch up your leg?"

Barry, who woke up quickly, looks around and sees some people. Why were they being so nice to him? He was just a little 12 year old who shouldn’t have it. At least, his parents said that.

Luke continues to be annoying. “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!” he yelled. He hopes someone comes soon and does something, or else this visit would be rather boring. Suddenly a guard comes in to Luke’s room where Luke can now see he was tied to a chair with some rope now that some lights were on. The guard says to Luke, “Shut it punk!” and walks away. Luke says, “Well that was very disappointing.”
