*One of the "escorts" spoke through the door* Miss, we need to go, now. We both know how Mr. Benton will react if we are late *Blossom and Sage looked at eachother in horror. There were only two things people called Benton in town. "Councilmember Benton" or "Benton". Not Mr. Benton*

*A loud clap rang throughout the kingdom and soldiers looked to the source .... and saw Warmachine arrows flying towards the city barracks.*

Luke heard the loud noise and quickly grabs his sword, making a loud noise as he got it from somewhere he hid it. He puts it in his sheath and he fumbles with the door, opening it and seeing the people there. He stops. “Umm, who are you?” he asked.

Barry realizes that they said Benton’s name wrong and he walks towards the people, curious at what they were doing. He accidentally sneezes from the incense hat was still in the air.

Blossom looked at Sage, her voice came out as a wisper. "It's a trap. Listen to me, I'll go, they dont know you're here. Help Emi with Tani and move her if you need to." She slipped off her medical bag and gave it to Sage. "Use these and go." Once Sage had hidden somewhere in the house Blossom took a breath and opened the door then closed it behind her. What the "escorts" didn't know was Blossom had locked it behind her so they couldn't get in. "Alright, what's this meeting about?"

Emi looked up at the loud clap. "Sage?"

*The people stared at Luke* Yer reckoning. *The people began to storm into Luke's home, breaking through windows and pushed through the door that Luke quickly closed and locked*

Sage knows she cannot say or do anything to stop Blossom. The courage of the young mom was incredibly strong. Sage quickly turns to Emi and hushes her. "It'll be okay sweetie, but we have to move okay?" Sage asks. She bends down and picks up Tani. "Come on Emi" Sage tells her

Gwen's eyes widen at the arrows. There is nothing she can do, it would literally be impossible to move out of the way, she shuts her eyes, preparing for arrows to pierce her. She hears screams all around her, when she opens her eyes, she finds that she had gotten lucky. But some soliders cannot say the same. Gwen swallows a shaky breath and jumps on a horse. "We are under attack! Every able person needs to move now!" Gwen shouts. "All healers need to heal the wounded immediately!"

“HEY! YOU CAN’T JUST GO INTO MY HOUSE UNINVITED!” Luke yells, then jumps through one of the windows that they broke and took out his sword. “Why are you here?” he asked seriously. Luke has gotten a lot more serious since his friends were getting attacked.

Barry pipes up from behind the ‘escorts’ and asks, “Wh-what kind of t-trouble?” This was one of the most scariest things he had ever done.

*Seceral soldiers took cover, but the others did something weird. They drew their swords and began to attack other soldiers. Even Gwen's captain drew his sword and charged Gwen's horse*

"You haven't found her yet? She was here but she left, unless she came back and I didn't see her, which is highly unlikely." Blossom asked innocently, she put a hand under her chin as if thinking. "I guess I'll just head to the meeting while you find Sage, she should be around the village somewhere."

Emi looked at Sage. "Move where?" Sage saw her eyes light up as if she had an idea. "Follow me!" Emi quickly led Sage to a secret trapdoor hidden under some carpet and a loose board. Once Sage had gone through Emi pulled the trapdoor shut allowing the board and carpet to fall into place. It was like it had never been moved.

*One of the men looked to the other and nodded. First one looked towards Blossom.* Fine then madam. Follow me and my associate here will watch over Miss Tani.

*A great battle began to rage throughout the city. Soldiers in the streets began to fight eachother, the wall guard was in chaos. But a leader seemed to have emerged. They wore a black mask and looked towards the city from the wall. Several men walked up behind the leader* Kill the marked councilmembers

Gwen reacts quickly, she brings her sword down on the captain. The swift cut to the chest should be enough to stop him in his tracks. The next thing she does is both stupid and courageous. Instead of using this moment to flee with her life, she instead charges forward to help fight off the attackers.

"Brilliant! Nice work Emi" Sage whispers to Emi. She carefully lays Tani down and then grabs her spear, which she always has on her. It's not as effective as a sword, but it's far better than having nothing. She quietly waits to see what happens

Blossom was about to say something when she heard it. "Kill the marked councilmembers." Blossom turned and looked in the direction of the shout. "All healers need to heal the wounded immediately!" Blossom started in their direction. "I need to help them! Benton will understand!"

*The man rolled his eyes and drew his sword* Madam, I must insist you come with m- *A sword stuck out of the man's chest. Once the sword was drawn, the man fell to the ground and the other soldier tried and failed to attack the killer of the other soldier, getting his head cut off in the process. Blossom looked at the attacker and saw Maddy's blood sprayed face* Well, that's gonna hurt in the morning

Blossom's eyes lit up. "It's so good to see you again, I just wish it was on better terms." Blossom and Maddy bolted into Blossom's house, where Blossom's foot stomped slightly on the ground to find the said trapdoor. When she found it she lifted the carpet to find that Emi had bolted the trapdoor shut. "Emi! Is Sage and Tani with you?"

"What's the password?" Emi crooned.

"Apple arrow." Blossom stated andthe trapdoor opened.

Emi climbed out and hugged Blossom. "You're okay!"

Blossom knelt down to hug Emi then looked at her. "Is Sage and Tani with you?"

Emi nodded. "They're in the trap door." She paused. "Do we have to change the password again?"

Blossom chuckled laughed lightly. "We'll talk about that later."

"What's going on out there?" Sage asks to both Blossom and Maddy. She carefully carries Tani out of the trapdoor and sets her back down on the furniture that is in the room. She gasps when she glances out the window to see all the bloodshed.

"Mine will most likely be too" Sage turns to Maddy. "Do you think we'll be safe in the woods? It looks like they are attacking the kingdom, so maybe we'll be safe there?" Sage asks. She feels guilty almost immediately. She should be protecting the kingdom, but she wasn't a fighter. She may be stronger, but that doesn't change the fact that she has little to no fighting skills. She would be slaughtered out there.

Gwen finds that she trouble figuring out who is the enemy and who isn't. She ends up having to attack anyone that gets close to her. Her horse tried to buck her off multiple times, but she holds on strong. But Gwen knows she won't be able to fight the terrified steed for much longer. She glances over at the chaos that is unfolding by the wall. Dylan had ran over there, was he okay? Gwen resistances the urge to check, she has to focus on ensuring that some of her army survives.

Luke heard the commotion outside. He ignores it for now, then says, “What we you here for? I asked you a question so don’t ignore me.” He starts to get a bit frustrated but keeps his cool for now.

Barry is lucky and dodged and is now running around, scared for his life. Soldiers were trying to kill people. He was scared.

*Maddy thought for a moment. She wondered why the remaining Cloaks would attack now. She looked back at Sage.* I dont know. But one thing I know for certain is that we can't stay down here. *Maddy began to walk toward the trapdoor opening.* I'm going to find Luke, Gwen, and Dylan. Maybe with their help we can figure out a plan.

Luke then yells, “Tell me! You can’t just ignore me!” and he holds up his sword to one of the people’s neck. “Or else some really bad accident would have to happen.” He doesn’t smile, but just has a serious face on.

Barry climbs up onto a building, hoping nobody tries to kill him from there. He sighs in relief when he gets up.

Right now, the trap door would be safe enough to hide in. But the second everyone else got here, they would definitely need to leave. "Be careful!" Sage tells Maddy as she is leaving.
