Title: MORNING

Amara smiled as she watched the run rise from the roof of the school. It was a Saturday so there were no classes. She looked around and saw a few students heading out into the yard.


Rose was up early and shifted before she headed out for a run. She did this each morning to give her something to do.


James sat in his room and sighed. Most of his belongings were burned from not being able to control his fire.


Aro made his way to the school nursery to sit with the plants, a smile on his face.

*Maddy excitedly got up and went to wake Eric* Eric wake up

*Eric turned to her* Jesus do you know what time it is?

*Maddy looked at him* Its 7:53

*Eric sat up and began to search for his sunglasses*

*Maddy handed them to him* I'll get your wheelchair*

*Eric looked at her* No need *Eric's wheel chair began to move to him*





In town, Remi was hustling a man in a game of poker, Ruby was stealing food, and Logan was driving around

Outside a large russet fox girl was sunning herself. she had long lithe muscles and sleek fur.

Serendipity was outside chatting with Aaron

*Rictor was at Eric's door* Maddy, can I speak to Eric alone?

*Eric got in his chair and Rictor approached him* Eric, I wanted to talk to you about-

*Eric finished his sentence* My test score. Yes I am fluent in Latin as you can tell and I don't need to be in that class. Now if you will excuse me, I have a friend to help.

Meanwhile in a forest.

“Uhh. Man, I’m not a morning person.” Lily said as she woke up.

“That’s ironic considering that your middle name is morning.” Jake said.

“I really don’t like that you keep on making us move form one place to another.” Lily said as she transferred some of the extra life-force to “Jake” so she wouldn’t be overloaded with the energy.

*Remi had beaten the poor sucker at poker. A mysterious figure appeared where the last player was* Are you Remi Dufresne?

*Remi kept his head tilted.* Do I owe you money?

*The stranger replied* No

*Remy took off his hat* Then Remi I am.

*Remi looked at the stranger and smiled* If you have the money.

*The stranger put 2 hundreds down on the table* How much will this get me

*Remi kept a poker face. He grabbed 100 chips. Remi shuffled the deck with great ease and gave the stranger his cards. Remi got a glimpse of the stranger's face and saw a "M" on it. He kept his poker face, but was ready for a fight* Where are you from?

*The stranger looked at his cards.* Same place you are from.

*Remi began to charge his cards* Really? Wheres that? Ireland?

*The stranger chuckled.* No. *Lucifer looked up.* The mutation lab.

Sitting in the courtyard, Ienzo chucked at the joke one of his friends told, hiding his grin under the oversized coat he wore. He was enjoying the sun on his skin and the company around him. To anyone else, Ienzo was simply sitting alone laughing about nothing.

Elrena sat in the gardens, tending to the flowerbeds. Carefully watering the soil, she grimaced as sparks of electricity arced from her fingertips into the soil. Yes, she loved gardening bit her powers were a damn pain in the ass to deal with when water was so conductive.

As he sat up one the rooftop, Semi let the Saturday buzz wash over him. The chatter of the students, the warm breeze, the rising of the sun, it all made him smile and want to strech his wings. Bit he decided not to, simply shrugging off his coat and alighting down to the grounds. He wanted to find Maddy before things got too busy

*Eric sensed something was happening in town. He sent a message to Amara saying something was happening in town*

*Remi got up and fired the charged cards at Lucifer. Lucifer was hit back. Remi turned and began to run*

Semi yelped, wings flaring out like an actual bird. It was meant to look somewhat threatening but he ended up looking like a dork, with feathers stuck in his hair. Turning around, Semi pouted at Maddy as he tucked his wings back into a more natural position. "Madddddy, what was that for?" He whined, gently pinching her cheeks

*Maddy blushed* I was being cute

"you are always adorable." He corrected, releasing her cheeks.

Rose skid to a stop when she entered the trees and looked around. Something felt off and she didn't like it. Sniffing the air everything seemed normal. Shrugging it off she walked around.

Back in the forest.

“So Jake were are we heading this time?” Lily asked.

“We’re not going anywhere.” Jake answered.

*Remi stopped running. He had his playing cards at the ready.*


* "Caliban" helped Lucifer up.* You were suppose to catch him Lucy.

* Lucifer blew fire at "Caliban" *

Back at the school:
Come on Semi. Don't hide your wings. Fly with me. *Maddy ran to the edge of the roof and jumped. She began to fly using her powers*

Amara watched the students with a smile before she headed to her office.

"I don't try to-" he cut himself off by nearly screaming when Maddy threw herself off the roof, forgetting that even though she had no physical wings she could still fly. "She's going to be the death of me one day..." He sighed fondly before letting himself fall off the roof and followed Maddy.

*Eric zoomed to Amara.* Amara, didn't you hear me? There is trouble in town


*Maddy flew over a pond and made the water shoot up like a non harmful geyser.*

In Town:

*"Caliban" began to sniff for Remi when a mysterious figure came up behind him and slammed him to the wall.* Gimme all your money *The figures hand began to spark. It was Ruby*

Amara shook her head. "I'm terribly sorry. I must have been zoning out. What kind of trouble" she asked.


Rose made her way back to the school in her wolf form and went to her room.

Hunter trouble. I know of three non hunter mutants there. I think one of them is in trouble
