Maybe its a wish from many players.. like after 30 days, the items or Pokemon get returned to the storage box or item bag. just like an auction if nobody bids...
(suggestion from a player after i noticed that the old gts trades still there and not automatically got removed after 2 months that was implanted on 19/03/2015:
From now, all inactive trade setups will be removed from the GTS after 2 months)

I hope this gets support.

Because that certain private trade that someone (been offline for a while as well) has sent me is still there for 1 year and counting.. is not a pretty sight, that trade could be going for a record perhaps? I wish we/they could reject/cancel it out or removed after 30 days or so. :S

Because when sometimes i go to GTS to buy some item/pokemon and see those 2 Months ago trades only, It really irritates me!

Implemented! Inactive GTS trades are now being removed after roughly 2 months.

This was already implemented in the past, as ecco pointed out correctly, but it was disabled when the big GTS update was released in 2017.
