support,it's never bothered me that the banners changes for one day and it's always nice to see that PH cares about the mods's birthdays

i support as long as it’s optional! as someone with incredibly sensitive eyes, having too many bright colours can give me a massive headache- that’s why i use the darkest banner options, ya kno? maybe if you have the banners turned off you could get a notification saying it’s a staffer’s birthday or something so you can still send them gifts or a plushie if you want!

I totally support this! I don’t know when this was taken out but it’s stupid that just because of a few people didn’t like that the staff get 1 special day with a banner made for them that there birthdays shouldn’t be recognized.

I'm guessing this is about these banners displaying globally for the site when appropriate?



If so, it's a big fat support from me as long as these conditions are also met...

1. I get a banner
2. The rest of the Staff that currently don't have a banner get one too

I've always wondered why I never was asked if I wanted to have one of these made and tbh I've felt left out, but I guess I know why now because of this suggestion.

@ephenia, yeah, people complained about it like 3 years ago when I was still a spriter, banners haven’t been done since a little before I became one, so please don’t feel left out <3 it’s been unfortunately going on for a very long time

I still want all the staff (including wiki staff) to have their own special banners, you guys deserve that for everything you do for the site; whether it’s mod stuff, art/wiki.
or at most; have a special interaction boost on their special day, y’all deserve it after all.

I always wondered what the story behind those banners was.

Completely agree with Calamari, I think it's a very good idea to put all staff in the spotlights on their special day.

Support, as long as it's optional! Similar reason to Cosmyn, where bright colours hurt my eyes, but also that I'm autistic so once I get used to the way a site looks, any change becomes very distracting to me and takes a long time to adjust to; so if it wasn't toggle-able, it'd get a bit annoying getting used to the banner and having it change again if there's multiple birthdays that month lol. So it'd be nice to get the banner as a reminder, but then be able to go back to my old one once I've wished them a happy birthday :P (An example of this working out would be ChickenSmoothie! For their events, they change the site theme for everyone so it's obvious that the event started, but you can then choose to change it right back to your old theme if you want!)

Totally supporting / liking the idea to bring em back.
Pokeheroes's doing a huge nice job on keeping the site uptodate with exciting activities.

it'd be nice to bring it back. (I still use the Happy Bday Pokeheroes banner either... Just realised it lmao.)
