I miss seeing them. Such a small gesture of appreciation and acknowledgement.

Title: banners

one idea that has not been put forward.......how about a banner you can choose to put on your wall that says happy birthday, anniversary, christmas, easter, etc etc, in that we put what message we want in it...so i could say happy birthday to my lovely daughter Nexanda, and make them visible to anyone that visits my page rather then posting a gerneric banner on everyones page. we use boxes in the delibird to say who we sending things to can that not be used for the messages we want to put in a banner?

@Hunni, that'd make for a great suggestion in customizing banners, but I think it should be in a new thread and not this one. They're separate ideas, and currently, we DO have mod-banners, but none of the personalized ones of generic celebrations that you mention.

i think this is a good idea, and i miss seeing the banners for mod's birthdays, it usually reminds me to send them a plushie or happy birthday message!

Honestly, I've always loved those banners, they've always given me a nice surprise every time they've been on.
Since I personally don't keep a list of mods birthdays, these banners help me a lot in terms of wishing them a Happy Birthday since they've done so much for us.
This site itself has provided me with a lot of good memories(I always really enjoy the Halloween Events :>), and I'd like to thank the mods who've kept this site going by wishing them a Happy Birthday. But I can't do that when I don't know the day it's on, and those banners are a really simple but nice way of notifying me!

Support as well. ♥ A little of appreciation for our hard working mods would be nice and I was so confused why there isn't anymore a special banner when a mod celebrates their birthday.

I would honestly support them just straight-up making everyone have it for the 24 hours as well. It's a banner! I don't get why people are complaining at all.

But this idea's probably better anyways for the people who nitpick, so full support from me.
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

Thisi s a Prime Example. Today is Yato's birthday and without another's player's knowledge I wouldn't have known because there's no banner to remind me.
