Chakti grunted, shifting so he could expose his back. He removed his shirt and reached around, trying to reach a small circle on his back. There were quite a few, but it was clear which one he wanted to hit. He gave up after a few seconds, resting his arm. He looked at Emmie and smiled, then asked, "I don't suppose you could- enh- press on the little circle below my nape, could you?" He kept one side off the ground, an odd indent over his family crest tattoo, showing where his broken rib was. His smile was weak, but he managed to keep it. " Don't worry about the reason, please.. It's a little hard to explain.. "

Emmie shrugged. She did as he asked and went back to the mouth of the cave. She sat back down and went back to staring out the entrance.

As soon as Emmie pressed the circle, Chakti visibly relaxed, then rolled into his back once more. "Thanks." He closed his eyes and his breathing steadied, although it was clear he wasn't asleep. " I'm still going to get you a cake and candles once this is over. Don't think I've forgotten about that. " He smiled, stretching and hearing a pop, then froze and muttered, "Rib's back in place." He seemed to wheeze the last bit out.

Emmie smiled a little bit. "Don't worry about that now." she murmured. She stared at the moon. "Focus on the arena." she whispers. She scratches at a bug bite on the back of her leg. She hasn't slept in hours, but she's still alert.

Surprise fills Tempest's gaze. So the food can heal her. Her breathing, which was once heavy and quick. Slowly returns to normal. She is still in a lot of pain, but she can relax a bit more now; at least compared to before. Her eyelids feel heavy and her muscles already feel sore, she would most defiantly have a hard day tomorrow. At least I'm alive Tempest thinks to herself. "Thank you" she tells Nova. Her eyes are shut again, and her voice is soft. It's clear that she is moments away from falling asleep. "Tell me... are Gateguard and Adelaide okay?" Tempest asks

Nova nodded. "Yes, they're here and eatting to recover their strenth as should you." She patted Tempest's hand. "You're safe here."

Leaf kissed Harlow's temple. "Dont you think that's a good idea? A large pool so we can go swimming when we want back hom."

(Oooh shoot I forgot to have Harlow respond)
Tempest gives Nova a relieved smile before she eventually falls asleep.

Harlow smiles, she lifts her hand up into the air and cups Leaf's cheek. She turns her body around so she can face Leaf. "You want a pool?" Harlow asks. "I think we can make that work. The kids will love it!" Harlow rests her forehead on Leaf's forehead for a moment before she plants a kiss on her lips.

Leaf smiled and the two curled up and fell asleep. When morning came Rita and Scarlet had dozed off only the sound of a gruffer Hmm woke them up. Rita squinted down and put a hand u to shiled her eyes from the sun when she spotted a group of five villigers weilding weapons, but they had a darker complection and their faces were knit in a scowl. Rita quickly loaded an arrow and took out four of the five before the last one carrying a banner found Rita and attempted to shoot her. Scarlet quickly blocked it by summoning a green circle with a lime lotus drawing inside. Rita quickly loaded a final arrow and head shotted it. Almost as soon as it went down a horn was heard and Rita watched to her horror about four or five pilligers made their way towards the village weilding weapons.

The horn woke up Leaf and Harlow. Kyu also bolted upright at the horn and grabbed her iron sword and her armor.

Chakti heard a horn in the distance and sat up, his eyes wide. "The h*ll was that?" He stood up, bracing himself against the wall, his adrenaline pumping. He stood next to Emmie, his eyes scanning the area they could see. "Do you see anything uh... Out of the ordinary?" He squinted against the dark, looking for anything that could mean trouble .

Emmie looked up. "Oh sh*t" she muttered. She flinched. Her parents would kill her if they heard her say that. "You battle ready?" she asked Chakti, standing up and drawing her pair of sais.

"What are we going to do tomorrow?" Adelaide asked, ducking inside the hut herself after settling Phantasia down with food and drink. "I found a nearby village in the ice spike area if you want to check it out."

Chakti shrugged, then twisted his torso, resting his rib. "Yeah, I think so." He grabbed his gladius and it's sheath, attaching it to his thigh, the grabbed the dagger and stuck it under his belt. He pulled in his shirt again, then said, "I am now, at least." He gave her a smile, his eyes showing a little uncertainty about the horn and what it has to do with battle.

Kayda wakes up to the sound of whispering. She hears footsteps approaching the dark Cornucopia. She slowly sits up, grabbing the nearest bag as she gives the careers a suspicious glare.
"We know you are awake Kayda. Step out of the Cornucopia, we can promise you a much swifter death that way" a career tells Kayda, he has an arrow pointed towards where he thinks she is. She bears her teeth at them and fires one of her light shards. It shoots out of the dark Cornucopia, the career flinches as it flies towards him. But nothing happens. In fact, each shard disappears the moment it leaves the darkness inside the Cornucopia. "Everybody stay outside, nobody goes inside the Cornucopia!" The careers warns the group. "She can't kill us out here" he fires one of the arrows, which narrowly misses her face.

Harlow sits up from the bed, she glances out the window. At first she sees nothing and relaxes. Suddenly, a pillager races past the window. She cries out in surprise, lounging for the door. She has no idea if the pillagers can open doors like villagers can, and she refuses to wait and see. She summons her knife hands and stands in front of the door. "Leaf" Harlow says. "Get the kids, we have to be prepared to leave"

"I don't trust this." Rose muttered. She ran back to where the others were and slips inside the building. She puts arrows back in her quiver and climbs onto the roof and gulps. The horn had unnerved her, yet she wouldn't slip up.


Emmie peeked out. "Let's go." she said. She carefully began walking towards where the horn had sounded. Her hands gripped so tightly around the handle's of the sais that her knuckles were white.


Gleen waited for Kayda. She longed to hurt the girl, to make her pay. Helene placed her hand on Gleen shoulder to calm her down, but Gleen shrugged her off.

Chakti nodded, following Emmie carefully, his head on a swivel for anybody or anything nearby. He seemed jumpy, his senses more alert than usual. "So.. What did that horn actually mean? Or do? What's the point of it?"

Arelian's eyes snapped open. "What was that?" she asks. She looks around, trying to find the source of the horn. The snow crunched beneath her feet. Yet again she was reminded of her choice not to stay at the cornucopia. She bushed some snow off her shoulders and pulled her hair back.

Leaf looked at Harlow in panic and grabbed the twins. "Harlow? What's going on?" There was pounding on the door as the pilliger tryied to get in. It seemed able to open wooden doors but not iron doors. From outside they could hear the sound of panicked villigers as one of them rang the bell, alreting others to go inside their houses.

Rita was trying to shoot them with Scarlet acting as a blocker. "I messed up!" Rita half shouts half sobs.

"You didn't know, it's okay." Scarlett insisted as she blocked an arrow. "We need to help Leaf and Harlow right now."

Kyu was out dressed in her iron armor with an iron sword in her hand ready to fight, she slashed down a pilliger that was aobut to kill a baby villiger. "Leaf! Harlow! Stay inside your house! They can't open iron doors!"

Azar was on the roof top of Leaf and Harlow's house aiming fireballs at the incoming pilligers, but seeing Kyu already taking fare of them she threw up a dome of fire around the whole village keeping the others out.

"If I'm right, which I hope I'm not, it means the start of a raid." she says tensely. Emmie gulped. "And pilliagers." she said, shivering. A small distance away, a controlled explosion echoes. "Calm down." Emmie murmured to herself, her fingers shaking.

Arelian's trident was in her hand. She kept walking, occasionally stopping to brush snow off her shoulders. The three prongs point up, as if she was ready to stab at a moments notice. In her other hand, a roman pilum gleamed in the light.

"A raid? Pillagers? Uh... I... What?" He looked genuinely confused, and sounded that way as well. It was clearly not an act, his face contorted in worry. " From how you sound, they're dangerous? Ann's are they easy to kill? " His grip tightened on the hilt of his sword, his fingers turning white on his dagger.
