Something made Dixie freeze for a moment before following. "Maddy wait, there's something that I. . .I wanted to tell you." Dixie's cheeks burned red hot as Maddy looked at her, Dixie closed the distance between them and gripped Maddy's hands in her own. She took a deep breath and looked into Maddy's eyes. "I. . .I have a-a crush on you. I-I always had and. . .I dont know if you feel the s-same but-" Dixie couldn't keep the eye contact as she felt her face heat up more. "I just thought you'd w-want to k-know."

“Oh!” She exclaimed, suddenly realizing that she hadn’t stated her name either. “I’m Miko, nice to meet you too Jazzmine!” She said, not having a care in the world. She enjoyed having someone to talk to that wouldn’t reject her, or slap her for “being too cheerful”

"Alright Mu, that's where you'll be standing okay?" Shion whispered to his little brother, pointing at where all the 12 year old boys were standing, ruffling his head with a smile. "It'll be fine, I promise." Walking down to his own category, he turned around to wave at his family before slipping into the line to wait for the reaping to start.

With her heels clicking down the road, Karida pulled her shoulders back and strode towards her own age group and joined the throngs of people. She didn't care who was picked but if it was one of the small young children, she would unconditionally volunteer herself. Despite coming from a career district, she never felt an inclination to participate. The games were dumb and she hated how excited some of the people around her got about them

Blaze walked by several younger kids as they stood in their line to get some blood drawn to confirm they had arived for the reaping.

Flare held her bulging belly, thankfully it was hidden under her extra large dress, but the belly still curved enough to be pretty clear she was expecting. She stood behind Blaze resting her hands at her sides.

Dixie nodded then watched as Maddy and Talla left, her face burning as she headed to her own house to get ready as well.

Jazzmine stood in front of Miko. She held out her hand and the peacekeeper took her finger and pricked it, once ome blood had pooled on the finger it was pressed in a box on a sheet of paper and then scanned. "Go ahead." She called out to the next person. "Next."

Tempest, Harlow, and Ryder had all gotten their blood drawn. All had different reactions. Harlow was calm, not giving any reaction during the whole process. Ryder forces his finger to turn platinum, breaking the first needle. He turns his finger normal the second time, he shoots the angry peacekeeper a cocky look before walking away laughing. Tempest has her eyes shut. She refuses to watch them prick her finger. She yelps out in pain when they draw her blood. She fearfully watches them work until she is allowed to continue forward
