Andrea, hums idly, clearly void of any semblance of guilt over what she’d done to humans in general. Either way, if the world thought she was a monster, what did she care?
The possibility that such a thing was morally wrong didn't even occur to Ldeya.
Well, the possibility that people might think so did, but that was just what others thought. And in a world where most people didn't have the resolve or ability to act on their thoughts, what did those thoughts matter?
Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
Andrea drawled out, not sounding sad at all.
“Maybe you can help me ask them. If they survive long enough, that is………….but that’s unlikely”
“We die too easily, which honestly kinda sucks”
Okay, fine. We’ll wait till after the quest. Ugh. Boring
Andrea huffs, itching to carry out her grand plans now. Why was the Quest more important than my experiments? Boo. This sucks”
Ldeya smirked. What could the school do if they chose to walk out?
Well, what could they do that actually mattered?
Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
Andrea laughs, but gets up from her chair as if she was really planning to leave
Orrrrr we could go now? If you can convince me!
But, this told him the auditorium was… somewhere to his left or something, opposite of the direction he had gone the first time.
When the silent and emotionless man turned that direction, there was a beam of what looked like light. Something reflecting off something. Weird.
Without waiting for the group of problem children, he decided to follow it, perhaps others could lead him to the auditorium without him needing to interact.
Ldeya yawned, then laughed lightly.
"And I shall try to not die on this Quest, so I can see that day."
Let me tell you a secret,
The real monsters don't look like monsters~
annoyingly flicking their tail as she followed the two, with her putting back her sniper rifle in her holder while doing so as she had her ears completely lowered, she really hated people as she saw no value in them and she wouldn't even be following them in the first place, but they were heading towards the right place they were meant to be as much as she really didn't want to go.

"Persephone if we graduate together promise me that you'll call me Fifi okay! So before then, I'll gatekeep this nickname just for ya!"
Persephone's eye twitched. Honestly, couldn't The Thing take a hint? Any use of "Fifi" would be about affectionate as a blade to the throat.
You're not my friend. You're just a thing for me to toy with. And no matter how much you or anyone else pretends otherwise, what you are will never change. A broken little thing, unloved by everyone, left to writhe in the dirt. Alone in the end, and you better learn to be happy with it.
For a second, she wondered who she was saying that to. Fifi, of course, but...
Natalie's smile flashed in the back of her head. You're a real basket case, you know? Just a little thing, but fighting the whole world. A toothless kitten without claws, going after every hand that touches it. You're practically begging for the moment a real monster comes around and rips lonely little you right down the middle. You're stupid like that. But you know what? That's what I like about you, Percy. You might be crazy and a fool, but when push comes to shove, you understand that no one else in this whole rotton world would help you.
Persephone blinked slowly. She realised she was at the doors to the auditorium. Steeling herself and banishing those ridiculous memories, she strode in and found herself a seat.
Her arm instinctively reached the pocket in which rested the knife she waved around whenever she was in danger. And that was enough for her consciousness to return. .
Lots of different faces, lots of people missing. Just how long was she lost in thought for? "The child!" she thought to herself. Phoebes was far from a child regarding her age but that was the simplest and yet most accurate way one could describe her.
Luckily, amidst her panicked search for her, looking left and right as if she was lost,Phoebes let out a loud yell to some Persephone. ["i]Yet another...friend...[/i]" Alcyone sighed.
She quickly picked up her bag and hurriedly walked towards that direction, eventually finding her. Among them was another person Alcyone had seen around in the institute, always alone. Even now they seemed to long for some alone time.
"Made a new friend?" Alcyone asked, her tone being anything but positive. The more people they came in contact with, the more Alcyone would have to maneuver around words and meanings. She has been doing that for years ever since she last slipped and it was beginning to get rather tiring. Though, part of her enjoyed the ambiguity of life.
💐Dulcie Bouvier's POV🌙
"Ow!" she cried out, immediately falling over. Dulcie winced, immediately patting the root and apologizing to it. "Oh, dear root, I am so sorry. Are you unharmed?"
...
The root did not respond.
"Okay, good talk! Glad you're alright." Dulcie hummed softly to herself, as she made her way to the auditorium. This was going to go so well. There was literally nothing that could get her down right now. Everything was perfect. Everything was...
As she made her way to her seat, the individual she laid eyes upon (Persephone) popped the pompously colorful celebratory balloons that floated about in her head. Their very presence tore down the imaginary banners from the ceiling, and tore the shreds of confetti into utter nothingness. The butterflies and bluebirds replaced themselves with buzzing flies and cawing vultures. A sinking feeling, like a stone that had just been skipped, took hold of her heart. But she tried not to let it show.
"Hello there... I'm Dulcie Bouvier. And... who might you be?"
"Alcyone my dear friend! You finally caught up huh? I thought you fainted from all the weight you're holding hehe."
Phoebes laughed cheekily as she squeezed her into a tight hug before letting go. She took a step back and grabbed Mr. Slendermen by the hair and dragged him over to Alcyone to introduce them to each other.
"Mr. Slendermen this is Alcyone, and Alcyone this is Mr. Slenderman! Now you two say high to each other alright!" Phoebes paused realizing something. "Oh wait, Mr. Slenderman is mute.. well you two can always just shake hands! Here!"
With one hand Phoebes grabbed Mr. Slenderman's hand, and with the other she grabbed Alcyone's, and with both hands in her grasp, she forced them together with a big bright smile of pure naiveness. It was as if the previous argument with Persephone was all but just an illusion.
Dulcie Bouvier? Had she ever heard such a stupid name before? Or such an ugly voice, high-pitched and obnoxious and instantly hateable, and-
Her eyes landed on the "Dulcie" that was, apparently talking to her. A skinny, lumpy looking girl with too many smile lines and what looked like two small, ugly animals had crawled onto her head and died on there, which she apparently decided passed for hair. Plain brown hair, plain brown eyes, so ordinary looking...
Persephone had never hated somebody so much within two seconds of meeting them.
"'Dulcie'? Something named Dulcie doesn't belong in my school. It belongs in a cage." Her eyes narrowed. "Why don't you leave the big kids to their fun, and go do- I don't know, whatever it is ugly rats like you do on their days off, besides giving people whatever nasty diseases you're carrying around in that filthy nest of yours."
She gestured to the girl's hideous hair, barely restraining herself from wrinkling her nose. Disgusting.
"The weight of this bag pales in comparison to the pressure of survival..." she muttered, not as audibly. "Mister... Slenderman?" Alcyone squinted her eyes in curiosity. Her grip on that long-haired individual's hand got firmer and firmer as Alcyone's eyes locked on to the person's. Whether it was mental or physical, some form of pressure was necessary.
"Now then," she tilted her head, fully invested in the next words or even thoughts they would have. It wasn't necessary for a person to speak for Alcyone to tell whether or not they were lying. After all, little chatter can be heard over on poker tables. ",are you really mute?" There was no way a mute person would be able to survive in an institute such as this, unless of course they were extremely powerful which could also very well be the case.
Phoebes trailed off thinking off into space on how a mute person would communicate in a conversation between those who have no speech dysfunctions. She has never met folks like those before in the years she been outside, so her had limited knowledge of them. Plus, Phoebes wasn't the type to read books anyways.
Rather, she would put them into better use as fuel into a fire.
Phoebes turned back to Mister Slenderman and awaited his response after letting go of their hands.
xxxxx"We've just got to wait for the rest at this point. Soon, hopefully, they'll all be moving along towards here. At some point, they'll realize it's time to quit the conversations and carry along to the consultation. And, if we're lucky, none of them will do anything foolish once this meeting begins. The longer it takes to start, the more precious time this assignment wastes.."
💐Dulcie Bouvier's POV🌙
Huh... she was a human, not an animal, the last time she checked. Maybe this girl was a tad bit delusional... Dulcie self-consciously adjusted her skirt. "Oh, is that so? And what's your name then, friend?"
"Why don't you leave the big kids to their fun, and go do- I don't know, whatever it is ugly rats like you do on their days off, besides giving people whatever nasty diseases you're carrying around in that filthy nest of yours."
She frowned. "I'll have you know I participate in a book club twice a week, I visit elderly people in nursing homes, and I volunteer at the local soup kitchen. I hope that answers your question."
Her face blinked rather neutrally, but her brow was furrowed, her eye slightly twitching. Who exactly did this girl think she was? Dulcie immediately found herself feeling through her hair at the person's comment... there was no need to be so rude.
"You know... your hair doesn't look too bad... it's almost human. So lifelike!" she exclaimed cheerfully.
She found herself glancing over at her other fellow to-be rebels... huh, what were they like?
Why was he here again with two people harassing him? And what on earth is a slenderman? These annoying rebels or whatever never failed to annoy him.
For one, he was not mute. Can’t they tell that he is voluntarily not speaking? Some people clearly just cannot take a hint, he sighed and resisted the urge to punch, kick or throw that problem child’s friend across the room, why are they holding hands? Any of those options would be great to see.
Truly, through these years at the institution, never had he seen these obnoxious people, let alone know their names, heck, Kiase couldnt even remember the names of the rebels that got called for the Grass-u-nation reguest or whatever they called it. If he forgot it, then it’s probably irrelevant.
Kiase resumed his stoicism and just stared down at the girl with a heavy bag along with that six year old, refusing to make a move nor even attempt to. He stood there looking at the, like a statue, when was the last time he spoke to a person? Two semesters ago, roughly.
