Persephone O'Couna

Persephone sneered, hating this girl more by the second. Of course she's a goodie two shoes. Just the kind to feed the poor little alleyway kitten and call herself a saint for it. There's no bite to this girl at all.

She was just about ready to scoff and turn away, done with this pathetic show... but then she froze. She craned her head, listening intently.

That last statement...

The little puppy had some teeth.

"Saying that as if you know anything about me." Persephone smirked at her, crossing her arms. "Since we're all about making snap judgements in here, how about I let you know what I think about you?"

Ferrenal stood by the door, talking with Caesar. However, as he noticed more people starting to trickle into the auditorium, he looked up. He saw Satsujin in the distance; so it seems that these graduates had some semblance of punctuality after all. “Well,” he said to Caesar “I suppose it is time for us to head in.” With that, Ferrenal threw open the doors and found an empty pair of seats, he quickly sat down at one and waited patiently for Caesar to arrive and for the graduation to finally begin.

💐Dulcie Bouvier's POV🌙

...this person felt like grinding rocks between your teeth, and Dulcie didn't even know their name just yet. Perhaps she would have to ask someone else later.

Well, that was alright, because she was just going to mind her own business and not say anything more on the-

"I haven't the faintest idea what you're on about. It was simply an observation about your hair. But, alright then!"

Oh no. Make it stop. Apologize, backtrack, don't-

She smiled harder, almost as if daring the other girl to continue. "What have you noticed, then?"

...too late.

Persephone O'Couna

Oh, you little....

Persephone lips turned upwards in her usual unpleasant smile. "Noticed? Oh darling, I've done more than some silly little noticing. I've looked at you, I've thought on you, and I've made some deductions."

Her eyes narrowed.

"And guess what conclusion I've come to?" Leaning in, she grinned, showing her teeth. "You're a lying, two-faced rat. Talking the big talk, not able to walk the big walk, clinging onto people like a giant leech... hey, maybe you should find someone to walk you into traffic."

Though it was quickly revealed to Alcyone that Kiase wasn't mute,it didn't take a person with powers to realize that Kiase's expression remained the same,if not even more irritated. She quickly let go of his hand and lowered her cap in an attempt to conceal her embarrassment.

Glancing back at Phoebes, she only gestured upwards, signaling that Kiase wasn't actually mute. With that out of the way,she adjusted the bag's strap on her back and started walking.

"Well then.... With that out of the way, shall we head to the auditorium? We don't want to be late now,do we?"

💐Dulcie Bouvier's POV🌙

I have no idea what you're talking about. What, exactly, could she be lying about? She frowned, deep in thought, most likely for the very first time.

"But why should people walk me into traffic? That's very kind of you, but I'm not the one being helped to cross the street, you know. I don't need any help."

She frowned even more, a sparkling look of pity in her eyes.

"However... I wouldn't be surprised if you do. Are you okay?"

xxxxx"Yes, let's. It's been too long already. They're late as it is." Caesar glanced around, eyeing the other graduates-to-be that he could notice. Those that brushed by him and into the auditorium, those that he suspected might be, those that still milled about. Julius tried to catch the eye of a few of those among the conversations, choosing those that seemed the most tense to try and pull from their uncomfortable situations. More than a few seemed on edge, but he expected that most students here were on edge. Alas, a conversation in the courtyard was out of the ordinary. With a soft harrumph over the lateness of those other students, he turned on his heel and followed Ferrenal in, choosing a seat beside the mechanically enhanced lad. "I assume most of these people would spit at a talk over punctuality..."
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

Do you know what lies beyond?

Do you want to?

Or has your curiosity reached a nervous end?

Persephone O'Couna

Persephone had held herself back. It was fine then. She'd given it a chance and that was enough. This Thing was going down.

She tilted her head cutely to the side. "Aww, I'm sorry, I thought that because it was talking to me, the little dog might actually need some help. You've gotta be a special level of stupid to bother someone for no reason, huh? I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, puppy. I'm sure you can leash yourself just fine to your host of choice."

Her hand found the seeds in her pocket, but she continued smiling pleasantly at the Thing. Never before had she wanted to rip a parasite a new one so badly.

It was unknown why it took them such a long time to complete such a simple task, but eventually the group did make their way to the auditorium in one piece with Phoebes yapping the whole way. Thankfully there were no fights. But it is a pity that nothing excited happened along the way.

Once the group has the arrived, Phoebes took a glance around the auditorium. The last time anybody was allowed here was during orientation, and how knows how many years that was. Since then, nobody else was ever allowed inside. Of course, Phoebes did sometimes attempt to sneak in hoping to find something interest inside, but was quickly caught and punished.

Thinking about her past grievances made Phoebes pucker her lips out. It clearly wasn't fair back then! How in the world did she get caught?

However her grievances were soon cast aside the moment the lights went out.

Suddenly, the center stage lit up, with a holographic screen. On the screen was a women with white hair and mischievous pink eyes. It was the headmaster "Daisy Poppins".

"Good Afternoon my dear students, I have waited a long time for all of you. Many of you sure did take your sweet time dawdling in the hallways making friends didn't you?" She joked, but her eyes were cold telling there would be no next time. "But that is alright, after all, this may or may not be the last time you folks will ever see each other ever again!" Daisy Poppins said with a singasong tone, as her bright blue lips widened into a smile. Her arms opened and spread beside her in a grand fashion. "Now isn't that exciting?! Now you guys can finally graduate!"

"The dreams you all have wished to achieve... is about to become reality!" Her voice boomed excitedly across the auditorium. "However-" Her voice went hush. "before you can do so, there is one last quest you all must complete before you can step back into the outside world once more."

The headmaster's eyes were bright, her smile almost maniacal.

"Infiltrate the government agency, and find our traitors, and get rid of them once and for all. Only by doing that, will you be officially accepted as rebels and released back into society."

The room was grand, that much is true. Proper lighting, spacious and squeaky clean as well. It appeared they were some other people before them, though they seemed almost surprised when the late lot entered. What could they be talking about? Were they even calmly talking about anything?

No matter. Alcyone just took a seat and waited. She was startled when the screen and the stage lit up,visibly jumping. Even though the whole presentation was impressive,Alcyone wondered if there was any other reason why Ms. Poppins couldn't make a physical appearance.

Visibly bored,Alcyone kept listening to the Headmaster yap until she finally revealed their quest. Alcyone felt tense and couldn't help but fidget and sweat a bit.

.
"Infiltrate the government agency? Get rid of them? Does that mean..." she shuddered. The thought of her having to kill and mortally wound someone made her skin crawl. This hunt was the last thing she expected.

"Infiltrate the government agency, and find our traitors, and get rid of them once and for all.” Blah blah blah….and whatever bullcrap came before or after that. All Andrea heard was infiltrate, traitors, and get rid of them. That was more than enough.

Oh boy was this going to be fun.

Actually…why bother finding the traitor? It was at least one of them. So…the best plan would be to gather everyone somewhere and then burn the building to the ground. Hell yeah. Honestly; any method worked. As long as everyone died, the mission was technically complete. Wasn’t it?

Andrea’s eyes glimmered with a fire that matched the headmaster’s, her smile as deranged as her mind as her lips curved up into a smile, breaking apart the scabs that had just formed, widening her smile to beyond humane as blood trickled down in thin lines.
