Welcome to Rakua, a city doused in everlasting night. It is perfection in every conceivable way, affordable housing, walk-able infrastructure, presence of third spaces, all those boring adult things yknow. Everything you could ever want is available for you with only one catch.
Go to school.
Adults may live out most of their lives at home while attending community college, children learning the fundamentals in primary. Regardless of age, school is mandatory and non-negotiable.
Everyone is divided into three years, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years with a majority of the citizens staying as 1st years for all their life, only a handful of 3rd years sticking around the city. There isn't any discernible reason why someone is in the category that they're in and how one can move to a different year. As far as everyone knows, people just. Do. Graduation never really happens but new people are always coming in and some do move out. No one's movement is restricted so these matters usually are left to the wayside with the logic than when it is time for you to move up a year, you will know it. The only clue you have is the rules that are hung up on every schools Main Hall.

Some are content to stay the year that they are, living out each day as happily as they can. They attend classes, go to work, have fulfilling lives that only could be achieved in dreams. But what everyone knows is that the Student Council may hold some answers to the mystery surrounding Rakua. Made up of six mysterious figures, they are the effective major power that runs the city. Taking care of the citizens, making sure that school is running, and organizing community events, these are only some of the duties that the council employs. There are rumours that they have special powers as they can be magically found whenever help is needed. Their deeper understanding of the city may just be the clue you need to achieve the fabled graduation.
Whether you are a new resident or you have been living in the city that never sleeps for your entire life, its time to go to school I think.
How this RP works

Your form will be quite basic, but the
most important aspect is choosing what year your character will
be.
1st years are pretty normal with no real gimmick about them but 2nd and 3rd years will get a PM from me. Members of the Council will also receive a special PM from me regardless of year.
The goal of this RP is to live. Each player with be given a mission corresponding to their school year. There is no penalty for failure, but rewards for succeeding will be instrumental. For example,

Dark and mysterious, Pyry leans into his reputation with clothing that deliberately evokes those assumptions. A dark fur collared coat with a high neck shirt underneath, showing as little pale skin as possible is a staple of his wardrobe. Paired with sunglasses that never leave his face even when indoors, many get the impression that he's either an idiot trying to look cool, or there's something more to him that he's desperately hiding. It doesn't help that he's on the shorter side either.
Personality: There is little that is actually known about the enigmatic head of the Council, rarely seen outside of formal events as a shadow behind the brightly shining members. All thats known is that he holds an immense love for Rakua City, with his rise to presidency marked by the creation of numerous programs that only improved the already amazing lives of the citizens. He stands at the head of the Council, leading an age where there have been more graduations than ever in Rakua's history.
Ask any of the council members though, and they will all scoff and describe him as an Apathetic Idiot.
Fears: Acrophobia, he can't stand being higher than the second floor of any building. Mainly because once he is higher than that, his feet start walking him closer to the edge... For similar reasons, he has Aerophobia
Relationships: The closest thing he has to family is the rest of the Council members
Other: As the head of Rakua city and a 3rd year, perhaps Pyry knows more than he lets on

With a short stature at 147cm (4'8), Kai easily gets lost in crowds as his sandy blond hair and tan skin don't offer much to go off of when it comes to easily finding him. She often likes comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and fashionable, but also offer up some fashionable points.
Personality: A bit shy, words don't come to Kai very easily. As someone who is used to spending time with family and in a place that she knows well, suddenly moving to a new city is quite terrifying for her. His reluctance to speak often makes him the target of teasing and most times, Kai lets it happen as he doesn't exactly enjoy conflict. A bit of a doormat, this one. She enjoys spending time wandering nature, quite sporty in the sense that hiking is a big hobby of hers and can identify plants at a glance.
Fears: Deathly afraid of bodies of water to the point where even bathing churns his stomach. He is very weary around still water that looks shallow. She hopes that the day where people forget her also never comes
Relationships: Gets along really well with his father even if the other isn't around very much

Personality: Connor is a rather straightforward man. He hides very little and shows himself fully to the world, while ignoring those who dislike him simply for who he is. He's caring, and kind, but very blunt. He will consistently do whatever he feels is in the best intrests of the people he cares for. He rarely talks about himself and his life. He's something of a perfectionist, which leads to some getting frustrated with him, but most understand he tries to make everything perfect out of a place of love.

Phaenna has a willowy figure, her long legs giving her the illusion of being taller than she actually is. Her delicate facial features are perfectly proportioned, adding to her overall air of grace. Her porcelain skin is smooth and flawless. Her long, white hair cascades down her back, giving her an almost angelic appearance. It is soft to the touch, like cotton, and seems to glow in the light. Phaenna's most striking feature, however, is her eyes. They are a stunning shade of ice blue, like two perfect gems set in her delicate face. They are large and glassy, giving her an otherworldly quality.
Personality:
Phaenna was raised in a strict household, where every action was carefully scrutinized. From a young age, she was taught how to behave with grace and poise, as befitting a member of an aristocratic family. She was expected to perfect her manners, from the way she spoke to the way she dressed. Even her penmanship had to be perfect, with each letter written with precision and elegance, taking calligraphy lessons to ensure so.
Despite being trained to be the epitome of grace, Phaenna often comes across as blunt and reserved. This is likely due to the strict etiquette lessons she received as a child. Taught to suppress her emotions and maintain a stoic facade at all times, as a result, she may seem unapproachable to those around her. However, those who take the time to get to know her will discover a kind and caring person underneath her polished exterior.
Phaenna's high expectations were not limited to her behavior and appearance. As a member of an aristocratic family, she was also expected to excel in her studies and extracurricular activities. This constant pressure to succeed has made Phaenna a perfectionist, always striving for excellence in everything she does. Phaenna, specifically, excels in literacy (poetry) and music (singing, mainly).
Fears:
Her Father: A ruthless and controlling man who has used his power to ruin several lives already; Phaenna wouldn't doubt him ruining hers, too, should she do anything to tarnish the family name.
Stage Fight: It seems silly, but without a mask, Phaenna is unable to get into the free-spirited character, which is 'Frore'. 'Frore' is the persona created by Phaenna for her to enjoy life in a way she otherwise wouldn't get to experience.
Relationships:
Phaenna's family consists of her parents and two older sisters, all of whom are graded as second-years. Her relationship with them isn't strained per se; however, her parents are confused about why their daughter hasn't already advanced to the next year.
Other:
Phaenna is a solo idol who goes by the name 'Frore'. Frore is a singer and figure skater, whose performances are very Disney-on-ice-esqu: magical for people of all ages. Frore enjoys being a real-life princess for young children and seeing them smile! Due to wearing masks during her performance, her [Frore's] real identity has never been disclosed to the public.

Personality: Autistic and pretty much socially akward. Despite of that, they try thier best when it comes to talking with other students. Noroi is a huge plant lover. They like to spend time in gardens or other open places, excluding forests, which they are afraid of. I could even say, that Noroi likes plants more than people, and sometimes talks to them.
Because of a traumatic even they went through in thier past, they became a very introverted kid, but they are actually very kind to people they know. It just takes them a lot of time to open up to someone.
Fears: Crowds: As I said, Noroi is socially akward and does not like places where a lot of people are. They can feel nervous or even start to panic when there is too many people around him.
Small spaces: Noroi was always a kid, who liked to spend time outdoors. They are not really scared of small spaces, but not having some fresh air around makes them uncomfortable.
Forests: Despite the fact, that they very likes plants and nature, Noroi will do everything, just to not go to a forest, especially at night. They don’t like talking about this fear, but they mention the fact, that they went through a lot in the past.

Kae has a simple appearance, much to their delight, of dark roots in their thin locks, blending to a softer sandy brown shade. Steely blue, moon grey eyes sit below a side swept parting in their hair, mousy strands tickling the tips of her pale brows and lightly tanned complexion. A tall stance and muscular physique gives them more confidence than if she were to be of average height or smaller.
Personality:
INFJ - The Advocate
Kae is rather shy and reserved, despite seeming outgoing and laidback. Although their fluid mask adapts her character to each individual, it blocks out their natural self that she only reveals to a handful of trusted people.
Under their broad exterior, she is sensitive, empathetic and caring to those who need it as well as those that matter most to them. Kae’s moral compass is generally accurate and she balances their feelings and logic quite smoothly. She hates letting others down, usually being the support system of many emotions that pour out from the mouths from teary eyed individuals. Kae pushes themselves to excel in their studies and can be seen as a perfectionist or stubborn if their work does not meet up to their standards.
Fears:
Autophobia - The fear of being abandoned. Whilst she finds some comfort in spending time alone, the idea of being forever alone and without anyone to turn to frightens her.
Claustrophobia - The fear of confined spaces. It’s simple, really. She hates caves, cages and locked spaces with them inside, linking to her Autophobia.
Fear of being judged (I realise this has a name but it’s too broad) - This is often why Kae happens to be so different around certain people, hiding behind a mask that conceals their identity; their authentic self slipping from their grasp.
