Same here. The background is static and very nice to look at, because it's not bright and flashy colors, but a bit... pale and is very comfortable for the eyes.

don't know how to explain but for me, it twitches while clicking the interacting buttons. the edge with the wingull twitches to the right...don't know why...it also happends, when clicking on "home" or "town". \r\n\r\ndidn't see anything like this at the old background, but i also didn't change anything in my settings or browser etc. ...

damn, i haven't acamera right now, if i could film it, you would have a better understanding, what i'am talking about..

it is firefox version 23.0.1, will try another browser now...it was fine before, really don't understand, but perhaps it will work better with another browser

edit: i use google chrome now and the background is static...odd though...

Very weird, actually.
For me it works, even with Firefox (I guess it's V23, too).

Hopefully it fixes itself soon. Maybe other users experience this problem, too. We'll see ;)

Oh! I just found what Acer meant. If you open this image and then this image in Paint (lay them on top of each other), you'll notice that the background on the second image is slided to the right a bit. I haven't noticed this before :/

Oh, I see. Might it have to do with the scrollbar?
Because on the first image there is a scrollbar, while on the second one there isn't.

I'm bad at web programming, but this could be the reason... Maybe there's a way to center the background on every page instead that it gets scaled or something depending on the scrollbar? Actually I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Oh and the "Post new message" button in the forums still slides to the right when you click it before leading you to the posting page.

Edit: Just checked it. If both pages DON'T have a scrollbar, the background is static. It really seems to depend on the scrollbar.

And that button thing is a mini game called "hunt the button". Makes posting more difficult & interesting.

Apparently your screen size is very large - so I wuld have never noticed it xD It's the same with Chrome; but for me there's always a scrollbar, even with less content. Small Notebook is small.
