Knights of Thron RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Knights of Thron RPAurora looked over the map of the realms carefully. She thought over the options. Stay as a single group, or split into three groups? She spoke, for the first time, "It may be best to split into three groups. We can find the Abominations faster if we go to the three realms at the same time."
‘Okay.. um.. let’s decide we decide tomorrow then. That way we can prepare. But, which realms are even on the list?’ Evie peered over to the giant map. There were the three realms but all in different languages. Darn!
She could speak her foreign language yet none of these seemed familiar at all.
Below there were notes and a faded image. She guessed that it would be the environment of the realm. ‘Well, this one has a.. poisonous bog? That might be where they get their slime. Or there’s a high temperature one, and a burnt forest that’s pretty dark so easy to hide if you’re a huge monster. Then there’s a magical one.. I think. Purplish-black crystals so that would make sense for their colour. Wow, whoever thought of these must be pretty clever.’
Rei nodded. It was a good solution, for if they searched each realm as a group, it would take them a lot longer months to find the Abominations. Then she heard the word ‘clever’ at the end of Evie’s sentence. Could the same person who had decided which realms to search also be the one who made their rooms. Intriguing.

Taking a gander at the map, Twayn hummed in thoughtfulness. Diplomacy was his personal wheelhouse, his greatest weapon and based on the locations it seemed like the cavern of crystals would take advantage of that skill the most. There was a high possibility that plenty of physical labour would be involved with such operations so he had the highest chance of resolving this conflict in... Less direct ways. However, the poisoned bog played to his strengths as a Life Paladin the most, possibly being able to purify the source and buy them some more time if any were to fail and the desert forest called to him. As a Jackal, the hot and dry environment where he could slink through shadows and hunt without fear of detection appealed to him immensely.
Such was the problem with being so varied in his skills. He'd simply let the others chose first before he joined the group he deemed most in need of protection. Noticing the other secretive knight's apprehension, he sidled over to Rei. "Odd how they seem to know everything about us and tailor everything to our strengths..." He noted in a low voice, just loud enough for only Rei to hear.
‘Agreed.’ Rei replied in a quiet voice. Finally someone was on the same page as her. ‘The Royals are up to something and I have a feeling that we’re going to find out soon.’ She noticed the girl and gave her a small shrug. ‘You don’t need to apologise. It doesn’t matter anyway.’
’That is all. We will call you for another meeting tomorrow when you have made your decisions. Maybe next time, more punctual. You have the rest of the evening to do what you like, apart from dinner of course. Goodbye.’ The Prince waved a dismissive hand and the Knights were shut out of the room.

"Ayo, I'm not weird. For he who names someone weird is therefore weird themselves."
The pixilated figure stuck they're head out of the door, clapped and ran away.
"My friend still thinks you all are enemys......maaaaaaaaaaaybe try to interact with him......? Sorry if I'm acting bossy/weird at the moment......I.....haven't got much experience with human mortals........."
Bendy did a long sigh.

Despite his polite smile, Twayn had the quite pleasant urge to go and some some unlucky local knight to spar with. These were the people the kingdom had entrusted to save them, children, idiots, and buffoons. Of course he belonged in a secret fourth category of crazy, but still, whoever was in charge certainly weren't in their right minds. Oversleeping was understandable but that could get anyone killed, a disastrous trait to have as a knight. "Quite understandable, social norms differ from each custom to custom. If you'd allow me to enter the room perhaps I could introduce myself to your friend?" Twayn chimed cheerily at Bendy's words, more than a little irked by this ink demon, but he could be the bigger person. Besides, laying in wait and getting others to trust him before the pain was always much more fun than being hunted by a stranger.
All hypotheticals of course, he didn't expect to follow through with such actions in this situation. "Of course, I won't do anything untoward. I simply want to meet your friend where they're at but communication is also a two way street. He also has to be willing to respond in kind." He held a hand over his chest, swearing on his honour. Not that he had much in the first place.
