Aurora smiled gently under her mask, but shook her head. "There is no need. If you are uncomfortable about it, I won't force you to speak. My main concern is the wellbeing of everyone." Suddenly one of her mask's bunny ears twitched, swiveling as if it was real and reactive. Aurora tilted her head and sighed. "Never a dull moment..." She began to head for the door, and stopped. She turned back to William. "Why don't you come with me? Your friends are worried about you and I should check on the person screaming."

Aurora smiled as William moved to join her. The moment was ruined as an Abomination burst into the room and knocked her to the floor. Her eyes narrowed as it suddenly wrecked William's room and pinned the man himself to the wall. She watched as the guards momentarily were organized enough to get the Abomination to leave the room, only for the guards to pretty much turn into headless chickens once it left. One guard stayed to help William and herself up. "Thank you sir." she managed to say before the guard left to try to reorganize the other guards. She turned to William. "We better find the other Knights. We need to figure out how the Abomination got in, and how to destroy it." she declared firmly.

Rolling his eyes at the behavior, Twayn only gave a short smile in return. It wasn't her fault that this was what date had in store for them, he was more concerned with the fact that these Royals even knew of the midnight whispers in the first place. Nothing seemed to be free of the ears in the walls and the eyes in the winds. This was Royal domain and they would be wise to keep that in mind, especially for him who had never seen hte crown as anything more than a fancy stone. Still, to demand that they linger before bruning precious time that could be used to practice on this was almost ridiculous.
"I wouldn't put it past them to never see anything beyond those padded pockets of theirs." He muttered lowly, contempt clear in his narrow blue eyes. He could hear and smell danger lurking in the halls of the castle but a familiar scent had his ears pricking up. "But I believe we have different matters to attend to. Be on guard, whatever attacked yesterday is here again." Leave it to incompetent crowns to leave their stronghold open to attacks

Rei nodded in agreement and pulled out her duel sword, blunt from the attack. She gritted her teeth in frustration and carefully sharpened it before slipping it away. 'Your Highnesses. I understand that you have asked us to remain here for further questioning however I think that the creature has returned.'
Gemini's eyes widened in surprise, 'The monster.. is in the castle? Y-yes. Very well. You may go.'
Rei winced at the word monster as she hated the term. Anyone who didn't fit the mould or was slightly abnormal was considered a monster. But she casted the thought away from her mind, bowed to the Royals and opened the doors. She walked out stubbornly and her face was grim. It was now to find the Abomination.
She followed the sound to the Ember room to find both William and Aurora attacked. Aurora was an intelligent and capable knight but to see her knocked to the floor was surprising. So the Abomination was strong and I'm not weak or out of practice. She saw William, sitting in a chair with more than a few wounds. Though she despised William for his murderous ways towards young children and did not feel a pang of sympathy when he revealed his backstory, Rei decided that - just this once - she would help him. 'You both alright? The Abomination got you good, didn't it.. they.. whatever the creature may be.'

Rolling his eyes at the royal's response, Twayn waited for Rei to rush out of the room before turning a gaze onto the still distracted princelings. It would be so easy, he mused as he slid his swords free with a lazy swing of the blades. Twirling them around contemplatively, he wondered how far he could go before he would be stopped. Probably pretty far, he reckoned. Beastfolk were notoriously stubborn, refusing to stay down even after defeat, and he knew his own power well enough. It would be so easy... but no. No, he wouldn't. Not yet at least. There were still things that had to be done before he could live up to his title
And if someone ever questioned his presence here, well a good knight should protect his master like a good little doggie, right? For now, he could smell that the situation was under control so far. He just felt safer with their back properly protected
