Sobble walks towards a brick house and knocks on the door. A blond haired girl wearing a grey skirt and a black jacket. "Hey Lisa, take care of my cat for me while I'm gone. I know I can rely on you, you've been one of my childhood friends for a long time." Sobble hands her the grey cat, Sobble's bittersweet smile appears on his face.

The girl nods, and takes in the cat. Sobble's smile is replaced with a more confident smile, one of determination. "Alright, enough messing around." Sobble runs towards the train and jumps on. The trains interior was like one Sobble once saw, he could remember it very clearly. "Man, this feels familiar. The train interior just feels right, I can't explain it though."

"Man, never thought today would be the day. Out of all the things I could be doing: folding laundry, playing video games, listening to music or just zoning out. I never thought I would actually be in the Hunger Games. Let's hope I don't get ganged up on by 2 people at once seeing that my abilities are probably focused on 1v1s instead of getting jumped by two people at once."

Sobble looks around the town square. There lies the bakery, the library, the fountain in the centre of the town square and innocent bystanders. Sobble knew this all too well. "Never trust anyone? I could do that, I'll try. Most of them are probably out for my head, that's the thing though. Some probably want to form a temporary alliance with me, then backstab me when it's just the two of us.

"Man, it just sucks that people are ripped away from their homes to do this. It's probably not a very civil way but then again that's how I try to find food in some games. I kill animals, either that or I have to defeat enemies or loot homes to find materials and resources. I mean that isn't too civil seeing how looting houses is pretty illegal in the real world. I wonder how the other members are doing so far, like nothing too bad could happen since the they can probably work on their own..."

Sobble finds a rock and puts up a barrier in front of him. He throws the rock towards the barrier and it bounces back. He stretches his arm towards a tree and grabs a conveniently placed apple. "Maybe I could do something with this." Sobble uncovers a small shard of wood near the tree under some dirt. "Yeah, this will do." Sobble inserts small chunks of the shard into the apple. "Alright, whoever finds this won't really eat the apple and feel satisfied. In fact, they won't feel satisfied at all eating wood lumps."

Sobble touches what looks like to be a little bird. It hops onto his shoulder and starts pecking his head. "Please I recommend you to stop." The bird, flies away and returns to what seems to be a nest. Sobble's curiosity is at its peak. "I guess that's where it lives. I really hope it doesn't it doesn't get caught up in the events of the reaping." Sobble darts around the area, scouting if anyone is nearby. His speed is slow but he continues running around the area.

"It doesn't seem that much people are here in the area. I sure hope I don't get lost or anything drastic like that." Sobble stomach growls, as if he hasn't eaten anything in a few days. "Man, I am sooo hungry right now. I would kill for some apple pie right now."

"I think this years Hunger Games will be worse than usual for me." Sobble thinks back, 1 day prior before he joined the annual Hunger Games. One of his friends told him about it. Excited, Sobble listens in. His friend yaps on and on: "This years Hunger Games has something new this time for once in their lifetime. The competitors all have special abilities, This is perfect for you seeing that you do have special abilities after all.

"I wonder what special abilities the others have. Maybe making alliances with them is a good idea." Suddenly an image appears in Sobble's mind, a person in grieves with a grey bandanna, lunges at Sobble and attacks him. Sobble gets chills down his spine, clearly this image isn't real but as he questions this, a voice is heard in his mind: "Whatever you do, don't trust anyone."

Two characters catches his eye, Mizuki and Hawk. For now Sobble decides not to strike up a conversation. Even though he might've missed a chance to gain a new ally or two, he can do that when it's class time. "Man, maybe I should go to those two and talk to them. It wouldn't hurt." By the time Sobble walks towards one of them, Mizuki had already left.

"Heya, I'm Sobble." Sobble looks at Hawk with a bright smile, nothing of it. Just a bright, carefree smile. Sobble quickly brings out his hand to shake, expecting him to shake back.

"Alrighty, since there's practically no one around me it was probably just the wind. Besides it would make sense for me to get paranoid for this, man I don't think I'll go that far in the games. Whenever I participate in something elimination based, I always and I mean always lose first. No matter the condition or opponents, maybe that has to do with my skill level.

Sobble disables the barriers, losing a bit of energy in the process. Keeping track of his own limits was never a thing for him. As the barriers disappear from sight, the particles float down to the ground like small dimly lit flashlights. "Man, I wonder when this map was made. It looks really old, old enough to be made by someone who would be hundreds of years old. Weird thing is I got this from an antique shop, maybe I shouldn't say that out loud though."

"I feel like I'm getting the hang of this." Sobble stretches his arm out and grabs a small acorn in the trees. The leaves shake with the wind, the acorn feels smooth on most parts but some of the edges are a bit sharp. "Yep, I just needed to practice a bit more to get used to this ability, it's actually pretty useful." Sobble reaches inwards and drops the acorn at his feet.

Sobble looks around, the uneasy feeling of someone nearby. Sobble quickly hides in a nearby bush, Sobble does not know such things as Nen or Chakra or other anime battle systems like that. "Uh oh, I think I might have company." Sobble puts 2 barriers, one in front and one behind him. The area is now very tense, Sobble's eyes scanning the area for enemies or suspicious characters.

Sobble looks around and then at his map. The map looks old, as if it could crumble at the slightest touch. "So this, this seems to be the so called "Reaping" that I've heard about from others and from this map. Maybe I should focus training my rubber ability seeing as I can only control it partially." Sobble stretches his arm out to try reach a rock a few metres in front of him. His arm grabs the rock but then starts shaking as if Sobble has lost control.

"Dang it come on come on. Arghhh!" Sobble's arm quickly slows down and retracts. "Alright, I regained control. I'm making progress, what was my other ability again? Oh yeah, I can also make barriers that is made from energy." Sobble picks up the rock again. The rock has a smooth texture but some of the edges are a bit rough.

Sobble looks out the window, excited about what the Academy had to bring. Obviously Sobble wasn't disappointed, flowers were near paths made of stone. The flowers ranged from dandelions to daffodils, from roses to lilies. "Man, the academy is so pristine and it definitely makes you feel that you're in the upper leagues.

The carriage makes a slow stop near the towering building. "Thanks for driving, you deserve a reward." Sobble tips his carriage driver a dollar. The man refuses but by the time that happens, Sobble had already left the carriage and off to discover what awaits him in Marelia Academy.

"YESSS LET'S GOOO, I can finally meet some other people of other kingdoms." Sobble perks up, he has waited countless days to be able to ask some people from other kingdoms questions. "This is exquisite, please I hope this carriage goes faster, meeting people as soon as possible is better than just having to go at a regular pace." The wind from his handheld fan blows through his hair.

Sobble wonders about what the Academy teaches, maybe it has some sort of special training procedures. "What I'm really excited though is practicing element attacks on the field. It's just fun to use attacks foreshadowing.

Sobble looked at a pond. "Dude, I am actually worthless." Sobble tries skipping a rock and skips it 2 times. "Don't see that everyday, wish something good would happen." Sobble looks around and 10 ants are seen carrying an apple. "That's fun, I still wonder how useful I am. I am one of the water people but still, it's water. What am I going to do, splash people with water?"

Sobble looks around and starts thinking about water. "Hm, I guess it is pretty strong, you can drown, boil and freeze people to death with water. It is still one of the essentials of survival. Sobble wakes up. He is in a carriage, Sobble looks around frantically.

"Where am I?" The driver responds quickly: "Going to the Academy. It appears you feel asleep."

"Maybe we should ask it first, maybe it has some other things for it. It's going to find some excuse to growl at us. Like that is probably one of the things that will happen if we continue to venture in the cave." Sobble looks at the cave, he finds a rock on the ground and tosses it into the cave.

The echoes can be heard, as if it could be heard miles away. "Yeah, we should definitely go in there because it is definitely 100% not a trap. I sure hope that nothing bad happens to us when we, if we even do go in there."

"I guess I'll help too. Besides there isn't much hope in me fighting a mythical pokemon." Sobble uses Helping Hand on Dieno. He knows he doesn't have enough strength to pitch in, so he tries supporting the dino instead.

"Hey, maybe you should try again? I used Helping Hand so it should make your next attack even stronger than it already is. I'll help as well, I'll use Fire Fang." Sobble gets ready to bite.

"Aw great. Just what I needed for trying to be nice. Just proves you can never fully trust anyone, real smart me. Real smart." Sobble's sarcastic voice is present. he starts backing away and has an annoyed face on him. "I'll remember this..."

Sobble munches on a Pecha berry. The juice of the Pecha Berry is enough to help his hand feel a bit better. The pain still stings but is a bit more bearable now that the juice was consumed.

Sobble puts his paw out above the dog but hesitates. He then pats its head nonetheless, Sobble checks in his bag. "I don't have any spicy ones unfortunately, I guess you can have a persim berry."
