Taking cover behind a rock, Dakota tries to discreetly poke her
head out so that she could get a clear view of the strange group
that was in this wasteland. The one who appeared to be leading the
charge was a woman with a broomstick. How peculiar. Next,
there was an angelic-looking girl, a boy with incredibly long hair,
a young kid who seemed to be half snake, and finally, an incredibly
short female were what caught her eye first.
Dakota wanted to move closer, as to get a better description of the
group. But there was no way of knowing if this group was dangerous
or not. She was confident in her abilities in a one on one battle,
but going against this many people alone? She didn't like her
odds...
Then again, simply walking up to them wouldn't look any less
threatening than her cowering behind a rock. She huffs, and with
that thought in mind, she stands up and slowly approaches the
group. You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
She spreads her arms out, trying to look as nonthreatening as
possible. But her gaze never leaves the four. Her keen eyes waiting
to pick up even the smallest movement. "Hello there travelers! What
brings you to a wonderful place like this?" Her voice was slightly
raspy from it not being used. "I'm sorry to inform you, if you're
here for vacation then this place has been closed for years" she
jokes.
Lean's attention was quickly going to the newcomer, and she was
able to move directly in front as soon as she blinked. A slight
advantage of not being the spotlight. "A jester? I'll be honest,
she's more humorous than some in Wildana." She smiles, bowing down
a bit. "Could you be so kind and state your name and affiliation?
Or just your goals, we're on a tight schedule."

Caspian looked over from behind Lean on her broomstick. He seemed
curious at who seemed to show up. He decided that just watching the
confrontation would seem wise for now. Although the stranger seemed
to be nice for the moment.
Erik looks at Azazel, tilting his head. "Legion? I dont think so. Im
going in adventures by myself helping people around." He smiled.
Being proud and sad in the same time, he helped the three in the
fight but also sad because he killed many guards.
"I -I dont really fight" - Looks at Azazel with a serious face.
"But I feel guilty for their deaths..". He looks down
A jester? Dakota wanted to be irritated. She was an
assassin! And a powerful one at that! She was no jester! But she
had been caught off guard, and couldn't help but laugh. If only
they knew... She would humor them for now. Sometimes you have to
give information to get information.
"My name is Nox," Dakota decides to give her fake name rather than
her real name. It wouldn't hurt to be cautious. "As for my
affiliation or goals-" she pauses and starts laughing again. "Well,
let's just say that my goals are the same as yours- to survive by
any means necessary." She had a feeling that she knew what Lean was
searching for- any sign of her being apart of the Legion. "Let me
assure you, I mean you no harm" she adds.
"That's not our goal though. Or at least... some of us consider it
a secondary goal." Lean narrows her eyes a little, looking around.
As soon as "Nox" blinked, she moved around her, inspecting her and
always being out of sight for a few seconds. "For someone being in
a wasteland like this... you are pretty clean, you know?"
You know the first rule in combat?
shoot them before they shoot you.
"What could be more important than staying alive?" Dakota asks.
Tension builds on Dakota's muscles when Lean seems to 'teleport'
around her. Even eyes as sharp as her's wasn't able to keep up with
the movement. To her credit though, her face remains neutral while
Lean inspects her. "Oh, well, that's probably because I'm not from
around here" Dakota says with a smile, which of course, was hidden
under her mask. She knew this would raise an immediate red flag,
but she couldn't exactly come up with a decent lie on the fly.
"I was simply meeting with- an old friend... But enough about me.
What brings you to a place like this? Are you also meeting
with an old friend?" Dakota asks slowly.
"You're... meeting with an old friend. In a wasteland." Lean asked,
stopping her movement right behind Dakota and raising an eyebrow.
"You... must excuse my mistrust but your plan doesn't allocate well
for me." She looks at her with a bit of suspicion, moving away
again and reappearing next to Caspian.

"What's wrong with this wasteland? I think it's quite cozy. Don't
you agree?" Dakota asks with a chuckle. "Unfortunately there
doesn't seem to be many signs of life here, even from my friend.
Oddly enough, you guys seem to be the only living things here other
than me. Are you searching for something? Someone?" She turns her
head slightly, looking genuinely intrigued by this group, despite
the hostile situation.
"We are just passerbys, we stopped for a quick break." Lean was
still wary about this place and about Dakota, something just does
not add up. Then she looks into her bag, scratching her chin. "Tell
me... what is your opinion of the Saint Deity?"
You know the first rule in combat?

"The Saint Deity huh?" Nox taps her chin thoughtfully. "That's
quite the loaded question. Some envy the Legion for having the
courage and skill to capture and use her powers. Others think that
she may be better dead, for having her alive can create situations
like this-" Dakota sighs wistfully, already imagining how much
money a kill like that could bring her. It would almost make the
downfall of the kingdom worth it.
"Honestly, I pity her. She should be freed from the Legion's grasp
and be allowed to live her own life." Dakota shrugs. "But I'm not
foolish enough to do anything about it. So I'm just making the best
out of this horrible situation" Dakota answers honestly.
Lean crosses her arms again, that was... a little too much rambling
for her. She's had enough applications, interviews and, before her
arrival in Wildana, "encounters" to let her know a few things. One
includes that, a rambling speech like that has a purpose. Wasting
time. "... and if you had the power to stop them? Or the personnel?
You think you'd fair better?"

"Hmmm" again, Dakota pauses to tap her chin. It was a silly
question. Nobody would dare go against the Legion... Right? Dakota
was confident in her abilities, but she never bit off more than she
could chew. She would be lucky to land a single hit against the
Legion before she ultimately perished. But if she had backup...
"It's possible" Dakota replies with a shrug. "Killing them would
certainly be worth my time-" they do have quite the bounty.
Dakota doesn't dare add that part though. She narrows her eyes.
"What's with the sudden interest in the Saint Deity?"
"Let's just say... we have an interest in her." Lean steps back a
bit, looking over to Selaphiel all of a sudden, awaiting her
judgement this time around. After all, she did have some sort of
psychic power, unlike the time planner.

Bella just sat on Leans, broom, remaining quiet so Lean could focus
in onto... whoever she was talking to. She was completely mindless
right now, just taking in everything, while also sort of
listening. She didn't have even the slightest clue on what was
possibly happening.
Lean moves back to Bella, smiling a little. "Now let's see what she
thinks of her... I hope you didn't get sick or frightened during
the flight here. I am still somewhat new to the whole "witch's
broom" thing."

"If you aren't at least somewhat devoted to the Saint Deity, I
don't want anything to do with you." Selaphiel turned and walked
inside the ruins of the kingdom. "Let's go, there are better things
to do than talk to her."

“You’re not with Legion…?” Andrea asks, her head titled. Those
people are good guards, in case you were wondering. If you’re a
saint then it’s no wonder you feel sorry for them.” Andrea glares
at Erik, tossing her hair back and staring at him. She raised an
eyebrow, standing away from Erik, together with Peter and Azazel.
“So. Are you with us or not?”
Lilith coos at the new arrival, holding her arms out. Lena jumps
down, expanding to a human size (which would be pretty normal for
Iteral now). Lena stares at Dakota, before bending down for Lilith
to hop aboard, and following Selaphiel.
"I suppose we can..." Lean scratches the back of her head a bit,
she felt it was unfair to just abandon Dakota like that. Was she
rejected, sure, but that doesn't mean she was just someone to
discard. So instead, she had an idea. "The troops of Wildana could
always use more firepower. If you like, you could head there. It's
not far. I'm sorry." She makes a short bow and then leaves, this
time just walking next to Lilith and Lena.
