She was a pretty calm dragon but that also gave her a sort of rational insight on some things. However, she also was a little on the playful and cheeky side, when shifting personalities after finishing lunch. With Tessy now in charge, she hopped around, in the geography teacher's earshot, as she started a bar song and hops around the tables, with a very strange sense of joy. It's obvious that she invented the song, as she sang it, with some stretched out words or stuttering but nevertheless...
"Have you heard about the gem, the crystal, more words in the jargon,
all of them describe this sheer wondrous carbon,
yesterday was quite the event, bet y'all saw transpire,
as all of our powers went complete haywire.
Thankfully, the elements are now reinstated,
though us talking 'bout it makes the teachers not really elated,
especially me, just singing around,
though as usual, I am just wholly unbound!"
Sidon stared at the geography teacher as they left. Wow.

The booming voice of the teacher made Frost divert her attention from her breakfast of... bugs. It gave Frost the urge to roll her eyes at her. Yeah, nice first impression, she thought. She wondered what teacher that dragon was. Maybe it was the stress of the subject they were teaching? She really hoped she wasn't teaching any Science related subjects. The last thing Frost wanted was to lose her love and interest in that field.
Tesona's outburst made Frost sigh in relief, especially after it drove that
"Hey! That song was really beautiful, I won't lie," she whispered with a giggle. "I believe we have met before? It was last night, right?" she asked, recalling seeing that dragon during their race. Maybe they can get to know each other better

Like a loyal companion, Estelle waited patiently for Lifei to emerge from her dorm, standing completely still while the others make their way to the breakfast hall. She had a really peculiar dream last night, but she couldn't remember what it was. All she remembered were rocks and storm clouds.
Oh well, maybe it was just the aftermath of the event.
"Who you calling lifeless?!"
"Sorry, sorry... hehe, touchy subject! I can try an encore, if you want!"

"Oh, is that so?" Frost said, head slightly tilted to the left. It's been a while since she met a dragon quite like Tessy, or Tesona, one with two sides. She wondered at the fact. How would the two sides cooperate with each other? There was a likely chance that they'd fight, so how do they resolve their problems? She could only wonder...
At the mention of repeating, Frost chuckled. "Yeah, maybe. I think I would want to sing along too," she laughed. God, if she decided to, the audience better be ready for her horrendous singing.
As a sort of retaliation against the teachers for ending the race earlier before, she decides to pull out a little trick of hers: The moss forms a particular pattern on her tail and gains a little bit of bulk, as it starts making an instrumental sound, to accompany Tesona's singing.
"Look at me weird, if you want, just scoff,
I don't care, 'cause I'm the real one-off,
two elements, dragons and persons in one,
losing against me will have double the shun!
So what if I sing, dance and act all insane,
as if being all normal is not a big pain,
so stop this facade of restraint and class,
this is just a big pain in the-
Thankfully, before Tesona finished, another shift occurred, as the plant matter is back in control. Though oddly off-character, she finishes the song instead of interrupting it, the sounds from her tail being a lot calmer and quieter.
Sorry about my temper, hope you don't mind the splendor,
having two minds in one is quite the endeavor,
so is my singing, I am not quite acquainted,
apologies of your ears being tainted.
With the sound of sheer mayhem from two mixed creatures,
violating the laws of draconian teachers.
In hindsight, why must I apologize at all,
Because in the grand picture, none will remember my call!
Tesona's plant singing was a lot more calm, though at the end she added a bit of dramatic flair, before she finishes, slowly retreating next to Frost, sighing in relief.
"Sorry, it's either me finishing the song or Tessy resuming the energetic part. I'm Tesona, the other part. Well, my name is different but Tessy and Tesona just fit together better." With that, she gave a little giggle and her plant moss gains a bit of green coloration and some slight movement.
Aether goes to find Pitaya, and waits for him to head for breakfast. “How are you today, Pitaya?” She asks
"Hi there," she greeted, walking up to Tesona and Frost with her tray, "do you mind if I join you? I couldn't help but overhear your little song, and I was more than impressed."
Halu sat at the far end of the cafeteria, where the least amount of dragons were. He had tried, over and over again, to get used to all the noise, but he finally figured he was just going to have to work around it. He gave a death glare to any dragon who got within 10 feet of him, the long and hectic night putting him in a bad mood. He flinched when the teacher yelled, and he tried to ignore the dragon singing about it afterwards. He didn't particularly like brooding in a dark corner alone, but he was so tired and fed up with the volume of the cafeteria that he wasn't in much of position to do anything else.
He barely even had an appetite anymore, but he had managed to eat a few fish and plants before finishing. He had no idea what the whole crystal ordeal of the night before would mean for the school, but he hoped that the chatter would die down soon. He wasn't sure how much more of the overlapping noise he could take.

Frost clapped after Tesona finished the song. She won't lie she was actually eager to see how things would go if Tessy controlled the entire song-
The arrival of the other dragon made Frost's wing fan in delight.
"Of course! The more the merrier," she said in glee as she moved a little to make space for Solstice to sit. Trying to calm a little after all that singing and clapping, she continued to slowly munch on her bugs while wondering how the other teachers would be. If all of them were anywhere close to the yelling one earlier, Frost might deliberately go to the gems just for an expulsion since she won't take it. Her eyes still scanned the area for the black scales while her ears tried picking up the usual crackling of lightning but she reckoned he wouldn't want much attention so she relaxed her senses.
"Anyway, I don't think we have classes yet after this? What are you guys planning to do?" she asked the two, well three if she considered the one with two sides which she took as two separate dragons. Frost herself was planning to improve and practice her speed more at the open field.

At the mention of blowing up the school, Estelle literally shone so brightly that every dragon around her could risk becoming blind. Realizing this, she lowered her candle flames and opal brightness a little.
"Forgive me, I got too excited," she said to Lifei. "But I'm really looking forward to this plan of yours. In fact, I'm tempted to just skip breakfast to get to it already," she continued with enthusiasm. She didn't care if she died at this point, a lab explosion would be a perfect death for her.
"Depends. I'm torn between going for a nap or going for a sprint. Or maybe sing a whole ballade for the teachers." She giggled, a lot slower and more to herself than her mindmate. "What about you two?"
Solstice hadn’t gotten all that much sleep after the whole crystal conundrum, staying awake to think, but she didn’t allow that to affect her mood. It would help her to go outside, though, and get a bit of sunlight to replenish her energy. She needed to be around more plants now that her anxieties about losing her powers have worsened. Nevertheless, she was glad to hopefully be making new friends. They ate their berries while listening politely to the conversation, occasionally chipping in when they had a thought to add. She figured it wouldn’t be that bad here. Maybe nothing like the night before would ever even happen again.

"I'm going to the open field to fly around for a bit. My wings can't stay still for long or they'd become stiff with ice," she answered Tesona, feeling the icicles already weighing her wings down. Finishing the last of her bugs, she stood up.
"I'll be leaving early while the sun's not too high yet but feel free to join me later," she said to Solstice as she left the room, trailing mist and snow behind her.
The field was empty in the morning, so it gave Frost much more space to fly around before the other dragons come. Stretching and flapping her wings to get the ice off it, she flew high up in the sky, touching the clouds and letting the warmth of the sun melt off the frost on her scales. She got a pretty view of the school from up there and she scanned the area. Her eyes fixed onto the cave where Lyn and her ventured into last night. Now she wished they had pressed on because she couldn't stop thinking about the gems, but she reasoned with herself that more opportunities will come later.
Further away, she could see the majestic mountains where her home lies. She already caught a glimpse of dark clouds surrounding the area and became slightly worried. The clouds looked like they were stronger and closer to the clan grounds than before. She just hoped that the flock could steer the storm away.

Estelle followed after Lifei's trail of frost to the lab. She had grabbed some fruits while they were on their way to snack on. Upon arriving in the lab, she was greeted with all the apparatus that she always wanted to use and let out a little chirp of glee. While those glass objects look like nothing to most dragons, they were more valuable than diamonds to Estelle. The dust coating the shelves almost made her heart break.
"I can't believe they're here collecting dust," she sighed as she brushed them off. She took a seat on one of the benches and took a bite of her apple.
"So what should we do? Maybe we should try heating up ammonium nitrate" she mumbled loud enough for Lifei to hear. Every dragon in the school better hope they won't do that because that'll be the end of the entire academy. She glanced at the colorful assortment of chemicals stacked neatly on shelves, also covered in dust sadly.
"I wonder what these do," she thought, holding a flask with yellow liquid. While some were familiar, there were others she never read about before.
"Good morning students, welcome to your first full day in the academy." Tren's voice rang across the cafeteria (and anywhere else dragons were) "Hope you slept well. As many of you might've noticed there was quite a disturbance last night, but we teachers reassure you everything is okay, and we sincerely apologize for ruining your sleep."
"Classes start today as I'm sure you're aware, if you are lost please ask teachers. That is all I have to say this morning." Tren finished her speech as Dragons looked at each other. Yeah the teachers are bad at hiding things.
A pause. It was difficult for her to admit it, her throat having a hard time swallowing, before she opened her wings, showing them in full glory:
The right one being an electric marvel, dropping sparks and being quite flexible, while the left overgrown with moss and mold, dropping small amounts of moss similar to Frost's wings do with ice particles.
"I can't fly."
Having been standing by the door to his room, Pitaya perked up and glanced over at Aether. "After the scare last night, I think I've been well. Waking up not knowing what was going on was... an experience..." His voice trailed off as they padded through the ancient halls. He still was unpacking the full range of emotions that had shaken him the other night, the helplessness of being well and truly blind wrapped up in the blissful emptiness that so rarely came to him. He had been helpless and it had been terrifying. He had been lucky that Aether had been the one to find him
Instead of at the cafeteria, Lyn had holed himself up in the library as he messed around with the texts he had gotten his claws on. Most of them didn't offer much information on the Crystal of Power but it did offer some interesting social commentary. There were even less books about Her but he had expected that, all of them having been texts that he had read before. Not surprising but still disappointed was the general sentiment as he combed through the pages and skimmed past the ink

When she heard Tesona's statement, she dived from the sky and stood on the ground to level with Tesona, seeing the shame in her expression. Similar to her ice, Frost knew what it felt like to have heavy wings. When she was still a hatchling, she had to stay on the ground while she marveled at how the others her age took to the skies. It was jealousy that drove her to try and passion, lifting her wings until one day, though later than other dragons, she finally lifted herself off the ground pulling her, defying all the sneers and teases by the other young dragons her age. Maybe it was then she finally felt freedom.
"That's nothing to be ashamed of," she said, addressing her expression. She took some time to think before approaching the mossy wing and touching it, feeling its weight. It was definitely heavier than her burden of ice but manageable. "Also, forgive me if this sounds offensive, but I don't believe that you cannot fly," she added, recalling something she's read in books.
"Have you heard of airplanes? Maybe not here, since most dragons can fly. But they are present in some places that have a high population of flightless dragons. Do you know how big and heavy those things get? And they only have small wings," she rambled on. "But, they can still fly. I probably wouldn't be able to considering all that weight," she chuckled. "Okay, to make it short, weight doesn't matter if you don't stop trying. So if that heavy thing can fly, I'm sure you can too," she smiled. "Of course, unless you're wings are broken or injured. That would require mechanics," she quickly noted.
"I want to try something. It worked for me, but I don't know if it'll work for you," she muttered. "Can you try positioning your wings like this? Oh and maybe distribute some more moss or weight to the other wing for balance" she asked, demonstrating her wings creating a curved shape with the end closer to the ground. She reckoned this might increase lift, especially since her moss seemed to be more concentrated on the top area. "Then maybe you can run and see if you get off the ground a bit," she concluded. "If it doesn't work, you can always climb on my back to see the skies, I guess?" she finished as she sat and wait in anticipation to see if all her chattering actually worked.
