Deputy: Tren, a dragon who helps Dovah maintain the school. She is an earth dragon who puts her work before anything else
Teachers:
Nox: male dark dragon who teaches ancient runes. Despite his stern look, he's a gentle dragon.
Gek: male light dragon who teaches potions and History. Wears glasses purely for fashion.
Kaida: female Electric dragon who teaches Math. Wears glasses but not for fashion.
Rose: female plant dragon who teaches Herbology. Likes the students and is often the most favorite teacher among students.
Atel: Gender neutral water dragon who teaches music. Loves the water and the sounds of the sea.
Wyn: a female air dragon who teaches art. She is known for being scatterbrained and forgetful.
Ruu: a male fire dragon who teaches geography. Very strict, often everyone's least favorite teacher.
Katu: a male earth dragon who teaches Physical Education. Believes in trying and putting your best in everything.

Today was the first day for those attending the dragon academy. Young dragons and their families flew up to the school, and some came up to the school through the magical elevators made for dragons who couldn't fly. Parents and siblings of students were saying goodbye and good luck to the students, for it would be a while until they saw each other again.
Araceli landed at the school, looking around the huge mountains that served as buildings. This would be her home for a while.
"Bit overwhelming huh?" Her mother said, noticing her daughter's nervousness. "You'll be fine. It may seem massive at first but you'll soon realize it actually isn't that big."

Frost groaned as she finally made it onto the floating island. While it wasn't that far above from the ground, her heavy luggage made the journey more excruciating. The minute all four feet hit land, she fell onto the ground with a loud 'thump', soothing her sore wings and tail.
After staying slumped on the ground for several minutes, and getting a bunch of weird looks from the other dragons, she looked up to survey her surroundings. The school ground was full of dragons, both students and families. She suddenly felt bummed because she came alone. She knew that none of her friends have enough energy to listen to her blabber and chatter for the entire 5 hour journey, but she wouldn't mind if they taped her mouth shut just to accompany her. Noticing Flamethrower had vanished to talk with another dragon, she sighed. "Guess they like making loads of friends.."

After a few minutes, Flamesurfer came back to Araceli.
‘I’m back!! Now, which dorm would you want to be in?’ Flamesurfer smiled and said.

After the throbbing pain in her body faded away, she continued to drag her loaded bag towards mountains where she assumed were the dorms based on the map she was given. It was just her luck that the Opal dorm was one of the furthest from where she was at. Just great. She glanced at the dragon that has just landed beside her and gave her a tired smile.
"Yes, I'm pretty sure its quite obvious," she answered, the freezing emblem glowing on her head. "I'm Frost, nice to meet you," she said. Judging by the dragon's looks, she was clearly a Dark dragon. "I really need to send my stuff to the dorms. Wanna come?" she asked before proceeding to pull her items.
She shouted apologies as she slithered through the crowd, making quite a ruckus. All the dragons stared at her huge bag, probably wondering what in the world was inside it and how a frail dragon could even muster the strength to pull the thing. Honestly, Frost was also starting to question her own decisions on bringing so much stuff. While she was in the middle of pulling her load, she passed by a purple dragon with beautiful butterfly-like wings.
"Heyo!" she casually called her as if they were long lost buddies.

Pitaya's breaths came out in ragged pants as he stood frozen in the elevator. The young dragon was terrified out of his mind, trembling as the garbled images he could feel flashed past his sightless eyes. This was exactly why he hated flying so much, the simultaneous overload and absence of information frightening him to the core. His father, a kindly nature dragon stood beside him, long prehensile tail gently draped over Pitaya's shoulder in a comforting manner as they both braved the rocky elevator.
The moment his father gave the go ahead, Pitaya shot out of the elevator and splayed on the ground. He couldn't care any less about the looks he was given, he was never ever ever getting off the ground ever again. He didn't even notice when his father said his goodbyes, too busy re-acquainting himself with the fresh scent of soil and flowers. Things were still loud, however and he scrunched his snout at the myriad of scents and sounds that bombarded his sensitive senses. Still, he dragged himself up onto his feet and made his way to his dorm. He wasn't really a social dragon so he expertly dodged any and all attempts others did to make conversation with

Frost looked at the dragon that complimented her with a ':0' face.
"Thank you! These clothes were a gift from.... and as for the wings.... and......." she started with her usual chattering self. She caught herself on time before the other dragon's eardrums can bleed and shut her mouth shut. "Sorry about that" she laughed awkwardly. "I'm Frost by the way, nice to meet you. Please excuse my talkative behavior" she added. She looked back to see where the other dragon was at. It was probably rude of her to leave her behind there.

An earth dragon flew towards Araceli's group, holding a bunch of scrolls, somehow not dropping them. "Names please? I'm handing out schedules to students." the earth dragon explained.
