"No," Dimitri said shortly. He seemed rather touchy about the
subject. "And I don't speak Parseltounge, thankfully." He continued
watching the first years with caculations running through his head.
Who would get in his way?"
“I honestly couldn’t care less if you were pure blood or not. I’d
just thought I should figure out if you were one of those
purebloods who liked to think you were superior, when you’re
obviously not.” Faith answers. “Honestly? In my opinion
Parseltongue isn’t that bad. It’s just the way people see it. They
all have their own prejudices. With good reason, I suppose.
However, anyone who interferes with my goals will be dealt with,
accordingly. I hope we don’t become enemies. You seem like a
formidable ally, and I don’t mean best friend, either.”
While the prophecy intrigued Suvansh, he did not wanna take much
out of it. Totally not the fact that it mentioned shivering,
shimmering animals, representatives of hope, which strangely
enough sounded like patronuses, and one of them was a dove. He
noticed Jules' nervous tapping, and recalled from the Defence
Against the Dark Arts classes, how his patronus was a bear!
Coincidence? Could be! He observes how Jules was lost in thought,
idly watching the ceremony not eating much. "Shivering and
Shimmering...bear and a dove. Couldn't leave us alone for our last
year could they?" he starts at him with a tired tone, but then
laughed it off, "What's up, Jules? Head boy eh? Grats! Summer went
any good?".
Dimitri paused. "I suppose I wouldn't want to get in the way of a
gifted Parsletounge," he said, a slightly mocking tone in his
voice. "But as long as you stay out of my way, I will stay out of
yours." He had no want to make enimies. Enimies were just as much
roadblocks. "Why is this taking so long?" he asked impatiently.
“I honestly don’t know either—“ The rest of her words were cut off,
as McGonagall brings her hands together, bringing about silence
throughout the hall. The feast is over, you may now head back to
your dormitories.”
Faith leaps up, waves goodbye to Dimitri, and heads to the
Slytherin common room. Meanwhile, Emily looks politely at Rayne.
“Do you wanna leave?”
Emika stood alongside the other first-year Slytherin students and
began the trek to the Slytherin dorms in the dungeons. She kept her
eyes moving amongst the crowd and the castle itself, familiarizing
herself to her surroundings and her new dorm mates... As reluctant
as she was to have dorm mates it was inevitable.
Dimitri stuffed his hands into his pockets, and rose almost
completley silently. He blended in easily with the students despite
his sullen face and tall frame, slipping amoung the others without
drawing any attention to himself. When they reached the bottom of
the stairs to the Slytherin common room enterance, he was one of
the first to come in.
