“I’m fine, thank you. Did you enjoy your first few years at
Hogwarts? I don’t think I really see you often, even if we are in
the same house” Emily answers, before taking out a book, and
reading.
“That’s nice. Which subjects do you plan to take, later on?” Emily
asks, giving a very McGonagall-like stare over the top of her book.
“I personally want to become an Auror. Of course, I’ll need top
grades for that, so I’ll have to work hard”
"I do hope Defense against dark arts doesn't throw too many
difficult things this year." Sterling muttered. "I know it's an
important class but I can't seem to understand everything."
While Dimitri may have been surrounded by Slytherins, he was
definetly not focused on any of the others around him. Instead, his
cold and caculating gaze was trained on the first years, unnerving
some. Dimitri's true goal was finding the roadblocks. He registered
Faith's question and spoke in his somber, deep voice that was
suprising for his features. "Same as usual. Mom's shop can't run
itself." He offered no other comment, clearly not wanting to
discuss his summer. Part of him was tempted to open up, but that
would make a roadblock. Roadblocks were unnaceptable.
Mickey took out a book about Defense against the dark arts and
handed it to Sterling, " Here, I think this book will help you with
Defense against the dark arts." Mickey said.
"Oh- uuh thanks." Sterling answered. "I'll get good grades in
Defense against dark arts this year! I promise!" she yelled at the
great hall, fist in the air.
Dimitri's answer was short and to the point. "Whatever I have to do
to sucseed." He never hid his cold ambitions, and that was the only
answer he ever gave. There was a reason he was a Slytherin.
Faith grins. “Spoken like a true Slytherin. So are you a pure
blood? I am one.” She makes strangled hissing noises, basically
asking Dimitri in Parseltongue. “Do you speak it?” She assumed he
didn’t, as not many people had that gift.
